Absolutely LOVE the touch pad, all the whiners have no doubt never even set a finger on one. It’s so simple and functional. No reaching, no dirty screen.
It's...okay. I like it after a few hours playing with it to train myself. It's certainly not the most intuitive interface ever. I don't understand why everyone is saying it's "love or hate it". I don't love or hate it. It is functional and you have to train yourself on it. As you said, not having a fingerprint smudged screen is a huge plus.
These transmissions have a whine that Acura says it is normal. Sounds like power steering whine so test drive in a quiet area and listen for it. They claim it is normal and does not intend on fixing it. I will be checking on the 24s for the same noise and will update all the blogs.

It’s not a “Fake touch screen”
Acura never claimed it to be a touch screen,

None of these are quirky or hidden features. These are regular features of the MDX. Love this SUV
I got me one, had to wait 4 months to get it though. I love it.
Yeah, the wait time is 3 to 6 months.
Just got my aspec yesterday. Really nice driving suv.
Nice review. I think you did the elite model since I don’t remember seeing the led lighting at the front of my A Spec, only along the doors.
love the new MDX cant wait to trade in my 2020 Aspec with 2022 Aspec
Yeah it is actually a really good car and is value for money.
