why you didnt take IS456 for slab design you have taken BS8007
Shravan, thanks for all tutorials. It will be great if you can upload any video for solar module mount structures (sections will be cold formed steel (IS 801), and please show also after analyzing how to look into critical forces and moments to design particular sections (like column, foundation), how to check slenderness ratio,utilization ratio, deflection etc. (critical parameters), thanks

Am one of the subscriber of ur channel.ur efforts are good y because ur sharing ur knowledge to other.now wat my doubt is y ur choose BS CODES.IS 456 is available to design RCC structures right then also ur choosing bs codes
Thank you for your valuable question my dear friend chandrashekar when u design by using IS 456 2000 it will not give Reinforcement bar sizes and design it will only show you the longitudinal and transitional Reinforcement in sq-m for particular elements so that’s Y I was considered B.S. code.

Hi friend sorry for the delay
In STAAD Pro output file it will show u the Ast required and moments for the respected slab element. For example if i get the Reinforcement bars of 16mm dia. Then we will assume for our safety 18mm (we need to take the reinforcement required for the slab is greater than the Ast (in Out put file) along Short span and long span. As per my knowledge STAAD Pro does't show u about the bend up bars information...........

If i look at your STAADPRO V8i SS6 you have BS8110 but my staad no have as per help explaination "Design of members per BS8110-1:1997 requires the STAAD UK Super Code SELECT Code Pack". How do get a free pack and addinto my Staad?
