On the west coast and don’t watch the news daily so just catching up and it’s heartbreaking! Thank you for bringing attention to this and stepping up!! You guys are leading by example!
Hi guys I wish I could come down from Binghamton, NY and help. but sadly I can't. Having some semi serious health issues. I when I visit Crossville again we can meet and talk. God bless everyone.
What about getting water filters to these people. That would be the way to go. Get a bunch of Lifestraws or some type of filters like people use camping.
So Ingles would rather throw away the food than donate it, but we’re supposed to feel bad for them? I feel bad for the local people but definitely not a multi-million dollar grocery chain that would rather have their food spoil than actually help their community in need.
I use to work @ Kroger late 90's early 00"s they use to do the same thing. Everything that was expired they would toss. It was my understanding that they could run into some legal issues if they gave it away expired.
awesome that you guys are doing such noble acts of service.
Thank you for posting. I specifically was curious about you.
