TBH, the sea element is way too vague. Blue fabric and a hint of pearls? As someone who is currently making a coat out of mermaid-like fabric I cannot call that anything other then lazy and uninspired. TBH, the sea element is way too vague. Blue fabric and a hint of pearls? As someone who is currently making a coat out of mermaid-like fabric I cannot call that anything other then lazy and uninspired. There are a shit ton of fabrics that evoke a sea-theme, I also got blue fabric that uses optical illusions to create an effect reminiscent of waves! There is nothing water-y about the cut of the dress or anything. When I first saw the dress, I was already thinking Jennie should also have at least worn a pearl necklace to compliment the one on her waistline and hearing its a sea theme makes me cringe.
