Why wasn’t it manufactured the way it should be at assembly time. Poor form!

That’s a great question and I totally agree! It doesn’t make sense to ask the end user to reroute the wick and rayon balls when it could have been done the correct way at the factory. Only reason I can think of is cost savings?
