I saw literally all of Hall's Can-am Chaparrals in action. 20 bucks bought a pit-pass where you could go to the garage during practice and qualifying. Lola, Chaparral, McLaren, Porsche, BRM, UOP Shadow, Ferrari for one year, and others. What a time it was to watch racing! Thank you. Your build brought back great memories.

Not only are my knee and ankle pains gone, but I can breathe better and I can bend over without choking the air out of me. You are on the right track my friend, once you get in the groove it really isn’t that difficult. 👍☺️

I'd sue you for Intellectual property theft for doing the Chapparal they way I would have, but it's a stretch to call me an Intellectual. Honestly, I wanted to be the first, but great minds think alike (as if you could call my mind "great"!) If anyone was going to make it first, I'm thrilled it was you! Aqua net on your shelf? In the old days id spray it on snow footprints To harden them to take plaster impressions at crime scenes. My friend what do you use it for?

Paul, looks great, I do not remember this car looking like this. I think I had the one by Aurora for slot car racing. Question after clear coat the car, and then you paint in detail, do you reclear coat the cars? Is reclear even a word?
The one decal that's missing is BOSCH.Don't know how I saw it in the photo cuz only my right eye works on focusing. My left is pretty much dead.But for that hassle,really is not worth to ruin your tribute for just two tiny decals!Well I don't think you can apply decals on a clear coated casting.

Love the Citristrip I let my castings just sit in it over night and works great with no fumes, easy disposal and easy to get just about anywhere..

Very, very cool! I suffer everytime you cut the old red line tires, but I know that's the best way to preserve the white little axels. Stay well 👍

Funny, I wondered about that too.
I determine how I want the details to look and If want them under clear I would paint them first, but most often, they go on top and that's it....
I won't sue you, I think the deep dish wheels look good too lol
