    Thanks for the upload. That's excellent footage and Jim Hall's narration at the beginning is priceless. The second narrator sounds like he might be Sam Posey.

    I remember Riverside just like that; a little bit of asphalt and a lot of dirt. I went there the first time either in 1962 or 1963 when you actually drove through a residential neighborhood dead-end up a dirt path to a guy holding a long piece of unsupported chainlink fencing. He collected about five bucks and you could watch cars like these race or wander through the pits. No release to sign, no pit pass no nothing. Glorious times. Years later I found out that Dan Guerney, Pete Brock and other famous car guys were in those houses!

    What fun to watch. I had a slot car model by "Cox" of this Chaparral...coolest thing ever.
    And Hap Sharpe was supposed to be the less talented driver of the duo.
