The original Huletts Country Club was burnt to the ground in 1988 - but within three years the new clubhouse had been built and the course (now known as The Woods) was redesigned as a residential estate - followed shortly by a second golf course - The Lakes. Both courses are now rising in the top 100 courses in South Africa by The Golf Digest.
