What an absolutely incredible band. Hearing this album from the original pressing of vinyl changed my life. The dynamics on Bohemian Rhapsody get lost in the digital transfers.
I’d love to get an original pressing to hear it. I’ll be looking out for one!
And the nasty compression of radio stations didn't do anything flattering for it either.
Compression is required for broadcasts unfortunately
Man, what a great album.
I Love this. Queen released a masterpiece with this record. Every song adds to the overall mood of the album as it feels like it takes you on a journey. Thank you for posting this. Rock on 🤘
Thank you, really glad you appreciated it! 😃
As a producer/studio owner/gear junkie, these are simply fantastic. Many thanks!
Thank you so much! From one producer/studio owner and gear junkie to another 😃
Groucho's quip at 8:21 would have had the boys in stitches.
Definitely! That was a great response 😂
While i dont know much ab music gear and such, this and the zepoelin videos were all super enjoyable. Definitiely deserves more attention
Thank you! That’s very kind of you to say 🙏
Peaches record store. Ft. Lauderdale. Remember getting it with my friend. So excited.
🙌🏾 Loved the intro!!!! And the narrator's voice is so calming
Thank you! 🙏
Absolutely loved this great research and detail this was definitely their greatest album as confirmed by Brian May. Hope to see some more Queen content? Thanks for making this one ❤
Thank you! 🙏
Marvellous text, well written and with clever segues. Outstanding voice as well.
Thank you so much, that’s very kind of you to say 🙏
@@mixingmasteringonline I've got a few nitpicks, though, but I'd rather tell you in private. Any way we can get in touch?
I absolutely adore your presentation of the mixing and general creation of these great, classic albums! Though this was the video that got me to subscribe, I’ve been keeping up with your past uploads and continue to be impressed! As a passionate classic rock enthusiast and novice producer myself, these are the kind of stories and details I love hearing about and you deliver every time! Keep up the excellent work, and I can’t wait to see which album you do next! 🎸
Thank you, I really appreciate it 😃. There will definitely be many more to come..

Some kinda rock stars. Astrophysicist!
My gods and Bible up to here and next one too....

Brian May ???? Good company.. that's it. Trombones? Yep... oboes??? Yep.
The Prophet song is still my all time favourite Queen song. Listen to it on headphones to get the full effect of those multi track vocals. The whole album is just fantastic.
It sure is! The vocals alone are enough, just mind blowing really.
In my opinion. Its even better than Bohemian Rhapsody.@@mixingmasteringonline
I don't like the story about the tape being see thru. Only because it scares the hell out of me.. Yeah I'm a tape guy.
Super happy to see that you uploaded this! Loved the video and I am very glad you included the anecdote of Roger locking himself in the cupboard as I always find it quite funny. For anyone wondering what 12-string acoustic Brian plays on 39 it is an Ovation Pacemaker 1615 12-string.
Thank you! And thanks for the info on the 12 string 🙏
