Great reaction. Haruna is a living mechanism, and Fami is a total one off. I defy ANYONE not to get hooked on her Alien Alien cover, it’s so ridiculously catchy.
Now you can see why she was picked for the gig with Lovebites. Not that she will be playing a lot of that type of bass in a Metal band. But she has got some major skills to bring to the show. Plus she plays guitar, keyboards, & she sings beautifully too.
I can think of a few more reasons - the bass player audition was world-wide, any gender, and Fami is a Japanese female - and cute :) - so fits right in, with no language issues either. Plus she has her own very popular You-Tube channel (indeed I was already a fan of hers and a LOVEBITES fan and was amazed to see her join). Plus Fami apparently nailed everything in the audition and got on well with everyone, and very quickly learned the material she was asked to play. Fami just released a book (about bass) so you can see she has plenty of arrows in her quiver. And yep like Miyako she can play multiple instruments. Plus we finally got to see a face-reveal (she never showed her face on TH-cam on her channel) :)
