I used to watch your Imagination Station/Draw Draw Draw show as a kid on TV in the 80s. Every day me and my dad would sit and watch your show and draw along, it was one of my favorite memories as a kid, thank you for putting these up, its really cathartic.
I remember watching this guy's a kid I learned so much I wanted to watch it again but I just couldn't remember what it was called thanks for the upload
Thanks so much for sharing your Secret City eps! Going through a "mid-life crisis" so-to-speak and love revisiting these shows along with Zoobilee Zoo and Square One. I recently found old Faerie Tale Theatre as well on the ol' interwebs. Ahhh it's great to feel like a kid again! Bless you for making me happy!
Scout is speaking my language! I didn't catch much Zoo, but Square One, Faerie Tale Theater, Electric Company, Secret City, Today's Special, Danger Mouse, Bananaman, Pinwheel, Calliope.... Those are show names that I can barely remember, but they meant everything to me, and there's still magic in those fuzzy memories.
I can't believe this resurfaced after all these years... I remember watching this while living in Germany back in the 80s. I copied everything the dude did, and became a solid sci-fi/fantasy artist in my own right. Thanks Mark ✌
I learned more from this show than from any other instructor or teacher I ever had. Instrumental in my ability.
So much nostalgia watching these! I used to be so amazed at the city he was drawing on that huge orange paper.
I still draw the cubes and columns and shade the exact way he taught me in 1988.
88?
Wow, I found this show in 84
@@diyboomboxesintexas2805 my public school teacher used to play his show in class occasionally
I never missed Secret City as a kid. It was my favorite show. Thank you for all of the good times.😊

Amazing, this show was such a huge huge inspiration and taught me so much
Watching this all these years later and it is still so much fun. Wish I could relive my pre-teen days. They were incredible.

Hi Scout. I hope you're feeling much better. If not, try an ol' Square One "Angle Dance", that one always picks me up! Ad Astra Draw Squader!

Exactly
As much as Sesame Street, Thomas & Friends and Lady Lovely Locks (1987)
Mark Kistler is the man!
These shows brought joy to me as a kid, and bringing joy now through nostalgia.
Damn. This is who taught me how to draw.

This guy taught me how to draw in the 80's!!
I remember this. Thanks a lot for your time and gift.
I loved watching his shows. I still draw shapes and stuff like he does.
“There’s always symmetry in the hotdog stand.”
I never missed an episode once I discovered the show on my local PBS in 1990. Once I joined the workforce I never saw it again
I wish his show was available on dvd
I love how he mentions Furbies. XD
I spent more time shading and drawing letters in my notebook than doing homework.
what does he mean when he says direction 7?
Griffin and Rachel McElroy from the Wonderful! Podcast brought me here
