yep it supports quickcharge but you should by a quick charger firstly that is QC3
OokTiaopi Redmi 5 Plus is a very good phone for the price. But you can't compare a mid-range phone to a flagship. The Galaxy Note 8 has a 1440p resolution, Super AMOLED display, Dual cameras, S Pen, wireless charging, IP68 certification and more.. So the price difference is huge.

Xiaomi redmi plus is the best. Fast and no heating issue. I have it. In terms of price the xiaomi win. It is not fair when you compare it with the 6 times price(the note 8). ✌️

What version of redmi 5 plus you using? 4/64 gb version is faster then 3/32 gb. And application running speed difference between them is like between this 2 phones in your video.

The Xiaomi had to reload some apps cause of the build in task killer / hibernation mode MIUI has for every application... So if that was not turned off, it's completely reasonable why apps had to reload on the Xiaomi device. Either way, Xiaomi is killing it! I'm really thinking of buying this device, although I'm not sure if it will be the best for games since I like to play a lot. Though the Note 5A Prime I have right now does the job perfectly, I imagine this one will do it even better.

If you just need a phone that works,Go for the redmi 5 plus. It does almost what Note8 does. You got fingerprint scanner,face unlock at a very cheap price,and even it included a case in the box. You might not care about the extra seconds it took to load apps anyway. So get the 5 plus if you wish so
But if you want the latest and greatest technology on your phone(idk maybe you like to draw using s pen or you want that QHD display) then go for the Note8. It got super amoled,glass back,ip68 water resistant and a pen that the 5 plus have
It all just based on your personal preference,buy the phone you want
I don't mind saying that My Flag ship Destroyer was my Stylo 3 plus while waiting for the Stylo 4 / Q stylus to come out I ran across the redmi 5 plus it appeared to be a lot of phone for this price point & specs. Much appreciation

think about that, 1 note 8 with the same price we can get almost 5 Redmi 5 Plus, also the camera on Redmi 5 Plus isn't that bad either, so in terms of cost Redmi 5 Plus definitely more worthy.

Xiaomi is exceptional, good thinking with a good product, above all, "AFFORDABLE" once you buy one, you will certainly want to buy more...they got it all.
So, the 5 plus is the better device given the price. I'm not paying 1000$ for something slightly slower. And the battery is kick ass
Xiaomi Redmi 5+ that u use is the 3gigs ram/32gigs memory. If u use the 4/64 variant, if i not wrong, the page is not reload from begin again.

for note8 owner like me, we just paid 3gb ram more,a better processor Exynos 8895,a curved screen, better photo, stylus support with all app compatible, the samsung LOGO.......and will eat cheap italian spaghetti till the end of our life -_-

This is the 4GB variant of Mi Note 5 Pro. You should've used the 6GB Variant.
You cant compare different ram size phone in Multitasking. The Xiaomi got a ram Management Tool Save battery
It's not the battery saver, it's the "MIUI Memory Optimization" you can disable it on the programmer settings and more stuff will be keep on the RAM, but if you keep it on it will clear the stuff on the RAM, it slows down the phone for multi-task but speeds it up for single task since there is always free RAM so no freezes occur ever, but I always disable it since I valor multi-task more than few freezes when the RAM gets full and needs to dump to load something else.
