So I went back to read the name of on the sample and it literally brought tears to my eyes. Needless to say I bought her and myself the biggest bottles I could find and it’s now a staple in my collection!!!
Hermes is my go-to for citrus. I haven't found another house that can make citrus so light, airy and refreshing. De Monsieur Li and Voyage are my favorites.
Yes, You're absolutely right. Hermes doesn't get enough of love and appreciation it deserves. Love the Jardin Collection. Also, I love Equipage Geranium, Rhubarb and Pamplemuse Rose fragrances. Truly underrated mainstream house in my opinion.
Monsieur Li is super under rated IMO. It's my signature summer scent for 2021. It's similar to Acqua di Parma Yuzu but a little more zen and low key -- and at least $100 cheaper on discounters.
My favorite in the collection is Le Jardin De Monsieur Li. I'm in my 3rd bottle. I wear it alone or layer it with a fresh citrus scent. I also grown to like Un Jardin Sur Le Nil.
I feel ancient: I remember wearing Hermes Amazone and Parfum D'Hermes! I love the evolution of Hermes fragrances, they journey across space and time. Ellena captures this. I've been using Le Jardin de Monsieur Li since it was released. I adore this fragrance, always been a sucker for jasmin and now that I've been training my nose and starting a collection of perfumes I truly can detect a green jasmin passed 30 minutes of wearing it. The first spray is herbal, a bit minty and vigorizing, also citric with some floral touch I can't recognise at this stage. Then it develops. I have a lot of intense and gourmand fragrances so this one is a must when I need a rest of the others. Impecable but sad about the longevity, will buy it again and again though

Didn't even think about Hermes as a company until Ski Mask Tha Slump God mentioned it in one of his songs. I always thought this line was just a one-off haha. I love the exoticism that inspired this line and while most that try it don't deliver I am still excited to try these one day.
My favorite is Un Jardin Sur la Lagune, lol... but when I read Ellena's book I was fascinated by the history behind Un Jardin Sur le Nil!! It's probably my second favorite.
My loved one is Sur la Lagune, created by Cristine Nagel. For me its the most sharable of the collection! In Brazil, where I live, this fragrances are SOOOOO expansive! Like 1k!!!!! Thnks for the review Sebastian!
This collection is much underrated. All of them smell great in warmer weather. My favorite of all is the un jardin apres la mousson. To me, I get a cantaloupe vibe. It is wet and warm like one walking in the garden after a tropical rain.
I like Hermes perfumes and currently have Un Jardin Sur La Lagune, Twilly Eau Poivree, and Jour d'Hermes Absolu. My husband wears Un Jardin En Mediterranee and Terre d'H.
I looove my sur le nil !!🥰 The weather can't be hot and humid enough. On me it lasts up to 7 hours. I also got the sur le toit but sometimes it's a bit to sharp in my nose for that I' m often layering it with the sur le nil so it gets a little softer and sweeter. I saw some of these, not all six, at the local shop here in my city in Ukraine, on the Hermes shelves. I bought the TdH Eau Intense Vetiver, and as I mentioned elsewhere I'm wild about it. I didn't have time, or funds, or "nose" space to investigate all the "jardins" in front of me. But I read their descriptions. Was quite intrigued. And now you're suddenly reviewing them--what delightful synchronicity! I think there were four, maybe five of these on the shelf.
The entire Un Jardin line is beautiful and classic Hermes and Ellena. When I describe them to people I tell them that they are all water colors. There’s nothing bold to hang onto and they should try them if they like that ethereal light cologne experience. I lean towards others in the Hermes line, Equipage, Eau de Merveilles, Equipage Geranium, 24 Faubourg, Thanks for the video.

Hi Sebastian . I’m drawn to in Jardin sur Le Nil edt , Un Jardin sue le Toit edt, and UnJardin en Mediterrane’e Eau de toilette.. my absolute favorite and only Hermes scent that I have is Caleche 😍. Not much beats the layers of complexity. This goes way back to the late 80’s and my best friend was given a large bottle of this scent by he ex college boyfriend in Rhode Island I liked that scent , zibjust felt that iCaleche was too mature for me as a 16 years old. I grew into this scent. Take Care 🌟🙏💖
Mousson has limited distribution in the USA which is why you can only officially find it at Hermes. You wont find it at dept stores or Sephora. It was never discontinued. Nil is all green mangoes and tomato leaf to me.
My fave are Mediterranee, Monsieur Li e Sur Le nil, in order. I think that Gentiane Blanche also from Hermes could be part of un Jardin line as well. Could be "U Jardin Mélancolique sous la Brume. " (a melancholy garden in the mist ) because the smell is exaclty like this.
I'm really of fan of Hermes. Their line are simple, elegant and unique. They dont do blue ambrox fragrance or recycle DNA. They innovate fragrance DNAs just like the new scent molecule in H24. Niche houses borrow their DNA like Amyris Femme(eau bleue des merveilles), Montale Red Vetiver(TDH), Oajan and Honey Aoud(Ambre Narguille). The problem is they dont last long, they need to be 3 years old and above to macerate the juice, JCE admitted that when he was developing the Hermessence.
Jardin sur le Nil was love at first sniff for me - LOVE it in the summer! Great video, I agree that longevity isn’t the greatest, but they’re unique! I really like Jardin sur la Lagune in the Spring. 😊

I am really keen to try the 'Jardin' range by Hermès as I have heard lots of good things ,, but I have yet to take the plunge, the reason being , my want list is huge .. I will never fulfil 😆
mediterranean is my fave too. it so sparkling fresh. to me it associates wth lemon-herbal candy or sweet black tea with lemon. it is very grassy, with a very bright and sweet citrus. one thing about citrus heavy fragrances is that most of the times on my skin they open up really musky. it is not the case with this one! stays fresh and fruity. overall great summer cologne, I also like the fact that it is perfectly unisex
Great reviews! I agree that Hermès gets rather overlooked by the fragrance community. I’m not sure why as I found many of their fragrances to be amazing. From the garden collection I own Mediterranean and Mousson. I love them both for very different reasons. But I have to say my favorite is Mousson. For me I get a beautiful cantaloupe vibe 🙂. I’m also intrigued by the Hermessence line. I have Rose Ikebana and enjoy it thoroughly.
I fully agree with you - Hermès fragrances are underhyped in a sense. Personally I love Galop - to me it's the perfect rose - leathery combo that brings about enough elega without being too much. I'll try one of the Gardens collection after I watched your review 😊
I simply can’t live without Un Jardin en Méditerranée. It was first introduced to me, before it’s public launch, by a dear late client and friend who ran the Hermès boutique in Beverly Hills. I had been wearing Eau d’Orange Verte for many years previous, and still do on occasion. Un Jardin en Méditerranée is perfect with my skin chemistry, and I live in a subtropical climate (Hong Kong). As I said, I can’t live without it. That and breakfast tea.
I have Apres la Mousson and its one of my fav. I get soft watery lotus. Its the type of fragrance I could spray before going to bed after showering, combine with the scent of fresh clean linen makes it even more relaxing. Nothing loud, nothing sweet but a mix of fresh green aquatic herbs. I think maybe Hermes needs a little revamping/uniforms their collections.
This was really interesting, thanks! The only Hermès fragrance I have is the Sur le Nil. It was a gift, and I am not crazy about it but I agree it is a good summer fragrance. It lasts a long time on me-surprising since scents tend to disappear quickly from my skin.
I'd love this fragrances, and I love how the Hermés house makes perfumes being such natual..... my first was the Monseuir Li, and I just got addicted by those others, now I've 3 both's and wondering to expand my collection, but like you said, it is such expansive, I'd like to search for testers..... My favourite now, it is the Sur Le Toit, the oldest I've received, and so fresh and herbal, i can't explain how peacefull I fell using this perfume.
I have le jardin monsiur li, voyage, twilly og and twilly eau povree, I adore all of this, the longest performance is twilly eau povree it last forever
Jardin Sur Le Nil was my first Hermes and I loved it. Apres Mousant is also lovely. I have Jour'dHermes Gardenia and Twilly which I also love. I was given Les Marveilleux, not sure what to think of it...
Haven’t tried any yet, but I’m really interested with Monsieur Li, but Sur Le Nil is the easiest to get for me. Kind of bummed Sebastian didn’t talk about the beautiful art on the boxes

Love Hermes! Have many from the house and my favourite right now is Jour D’Hermes. A beautiful smooth citrus that is tea-like but don’t think tea is in the blend.
I started out wearing Voyage EDT and later Parfum. The moment Eau de rhubarbe ecarlate came out i bought that ONE, followed by Eau d’orange verte, Terre d’Hermes and Terre vetiver. Unfortunately,, since i had Covid Terre Vetiver doesn’t come across as great as before.
Love Hermes fragrances, especially the JCE ones. The travel size Hermessences are great (mix and match) and I find them fun to layer. Stand alone favorites would be Vetiver Tonka or Osmanthe Yunnan. Layered would be Rose Ikebana and Poivre Samarcande with each other, while Santal Massoia and Cuir D'Ange work well with a variety of florals.
Hi Sebastian, please please do an Hermessence collection overview! Imho Rose Ikebana and Epice Marine are to die for on the fresh side, while new Oud Alezan fragrance and some old heavy like Ambre Narguile are works of art too! Cheers, Alexey

I haven’t tried this line but I will go try them maybe tomorrow. I do own Rose Ikebana though- have you sniffed it? It’s another rose/rhubarb fragrance which I really love. It’s refreshing. It doesn’t last very long though..

I am really keen to try the 'Jardin' range by Hermès as I have heard lots of good things ,, but I have yet to take the plunge, the reason being , my want list is huge .. I will never fulfil 😆

mediterranean is my fave too. it so sparkling fresh. to me it associates wth lemon-herbal candy or sweet black tea with lemon. it is very grassy, with a very bright and sweet citrus. one thing about citrus heavy fragrances is that most of the times on my skin they open up really musky. it is not the case with this one! stays fresh and fruity. overall great summer cologne, I also like the fact that it is perfectly unisex

Monsieur Li is one of my all time favorite fragrances, it's a strong and long lasting! So chic and elegant.
I love Un Jardin En Mediterranee! I wear it pretty much all year, even during fall in Canada.

Great reviews! I agree that Hermès gets rather overlooked by the fragrance community. I’m not sure why as I found many of their fragrances to be amazing. From the garden collection I own Mediterranean and Mousson. I love them both for very different reasons. But I have to say my favorite is Mousson. For me I get a beautiful cantaloupe vibe 🙂. I’m also intrigued by the Hermessence line. I have Rose Ikebana and enjoy it thoroughly.
I fully agree with you - Hermès fragrances are underhyped in a sense. Personally I love Galop - to me it's the perfect rose - leathery combo that brings about enough elega without being too much. I'll try one of the Gardens collection after I watched your review 😊
My local Nordstrom just got 4 of these fragrances from this line about a week ago. I got to test Sur Le Toit and it’s freaking good.
I simply can’t live without Un Jardin en Méditerranée. It was first introduced to me, before it’s public launch, by a dear late client and friend who ran the Hermès boutique in Beverly Hills. I had been wearing Eau d’Orange Verte for many years previous, and still do on occasion. Un Jardin en Méditerranée is perfect with my skin chemistry, and I live in a subtropical climate (Hong Kong). As I said, I can’t live without it. That and breakfast tea.
I have Apres la Mousson and its one of my fav. I get soft watery lotus. Its the type of fragrance I could spray before going to bed after showering, combine with the scent of fresh clean linen makes it even more relaxing. Nothing loud, nothing sweet but a mix of fresh green aquatic herbs. I think maybe Hermes needs a little revamping/uniforms their collections.

I own sur le Nil, Apres la Mousson and en mediterrane and my favorite one is Apres la Mousson.

This was really interesting, thanks! The only Hermès fragrance I have is the Sur le Nil. It was a gift, and I am not crazy about it but I agree it is a good summer fragrance. It lasts a long time on me-surprising since scents tend to disappear quickly from my skin.
I'd love this fragrances, and I love how the Hermés house makes perfumes being such natual.....
my first was the Monseuir Li, and I just got addicted by those others, now I've 3 both's and wondering to expand my collection, but like you said, it is such expansive, I'd like to search for testers.....
My favourite now, it is the Sur Le Toit, the oldest I've received, and so fresh and herbal, i can't explain how peacefull I fell using this perfume.

I have le jardin monsiur li, voyage, twilly og and twilly eau povree, I adore all of this, the longest performance is twilly eau povree it last forever
Jardin Sur Le Nil was my first Hermes and I loved it. Apres Mousant is also lovely.
I have Jour'dHermes Gardenia and Twilly which I also love.
I was given Les Marveilleux, not sure what to think of it...
A great house with excellent earthy scents. I just adore TDH Parfum.

Love Hermes! Have many from the house and my favourite right now is Jour D’Hermes. A beautiful smooth citrus that is tea-like but don’t think tea is in the blend.

I started out wearing Voyage EDT and later Parfum. The moment Eau de rhubarbe ecarlate came out i bought that ONE, followed by Eau d’orange verte, Terre d’Hermes and Terre vetiver. Unfortunately,, since i had Covid Terre Vetiver doesn’t come across as great as before.
Love Hermes fragrances and unjardin line is phenomenal. But i wisht it last longer 😊

Love Hermes fragrances, especially the JCE ones. The travel size Hermessences are great (mix and match) and I find them fun to layer. Stand alone favorites would be Vetiver Tonka or Osmanthe Yunnan. Layered would be Rose Ikebana and Poivre Samarcande with each other, while Santal Massoia and Cuir D'Ange work well with a variety of florals.

Got a bottle of Un Jardin En Méditerranée. Like it a lot, but I think I'll save it up until it gets a bit warmer here in Sweden. Take a sniff now and then though 🙂

My fav Hermès: eau de citron noir. Love it! (Pretty near on its base to jardin de la Lagune)
Love it or not Terre d, in my opinion is just so unique and iconic. It’s one that I have to be in the mood for but nothing like it out there.

Sur de Nil it's really amazing for me. So fresh, green, tomato leaf. Love it for hot summer days.
I haven’t tried this line but I will go try them maybe tomorrow. I do own Rose Ikebana though- have you sniffed it? It’s another rose/rhubarb fragrance which I really love. It’s refreshing. It doesn’t last very long though..
