The last ep was amazing. Kate Winslet was compelling, the brittle fortress over a sea of pain. Great series with many strong performances.

Rarely do I love the final episode of any show, but Mare of Easttown's finale was intelligent and very satisfying. It was a well earned dramatic wallop at the end, which makes me appreciate the earlier episodes even more for the set up. I know people get scared of season 2's when a first season is so good, but I love Mare as a character and I really think there is so much potential for more stories in her world. She's a great character, very interesting to watch, and I know audiences would tune in to watch her future adventures in Easttown. Kate Winslet is a brilliant actress, one of the all time best.

Kate is the hook that kept me coming back every Sunday. This is why I pay for HBO/MAX. There are many stuffs on there that I don' care for but every month I wait for something good and HBO has never let me down.
I really loved the series, especially the dedication to the accents. Definitely one of Kate's best roles to date! 💞😍

It's been a week since I finished the show and it still stays with me. It is one of the most solid series I've ever watched, the character and story development is so deep that just stays with you. And of course the acting is exceptional, so touching. I loved every episode, specially the ending... Incredible
I lived where this was all filmed. The second episode with the gas station that was my daily gas station for years :P it's in Phoenixville, PA so cool
This show was amazing. We watched each episode 2-3 times just to take it all in. Excellent actors. Loved every minute of it.

One of the best detective shows I have ever watched.
Normally, I'm fine with shows like this being 1 season - an actual mini-series. But in this rare case, I think a 2nd season could actually be great. They've built such a lush world with interesting and complex characters - it feels like there's more to Mare's story and certainly more to Easttown. We get very small glimpses of hope and nuggets of where different characters may go and grow - ultimately leaving a very satisfying conclusion - but it feels like there's so much room to explore what comes next.
Just watched it ...really blown away by it....very deep, phenomenal acting by all the cast, and an incredible storyline. Refreshing to see this kind of masterpiece by everyone involved 🥇
The finale was excellent and the characters were well fleshed out and yes the humour balances out the heavy and darker scenes more. I love a second season.
Excellent show all around! Kate will be up for an Emmy for sure - if not more from the cast.
I love shows that depict REAL people and REAL lives. They're messy, not perfect, real. Bravo to all.

This was one of the best crime dramas I’ve seen this year. Kate Winslet was incredible and her best acting to date. She so deserved that Emmy too! She’s an amazing role model and standing up for more mature leads, fighting against ageism. Just love her and this series!

As someone originally from Delco, this show made me laugh so hard because it was so realistic in the portrayal of the area and accent. While Kate Winslet was great, Jean Smart was amazing. Each time she was shown, she reminded me of someone's mother or aunt from that area. She was literally the lady down the street

Absolutely stunning show. This season is over, but I'd like to see MARE in another story, a different scenario. Kate made Mare worthy of watching. I believe watching Winslet portraying a character so out of her zone of comfort is...the best of the show. What Kate says in 1:14 not only called my attention the most during the whole season but also made me think what a f... EXCELLENT actress that KW is.

Superb, superb, superb series!! Incredible writing, directing and outstanding acting from all, but have to shout out for our ladies! Kate Winslet was flawless as Mare, Jean Smart very memorable and Julianne as Lori, particularly that last episode with Lori was gripping, emotional and easily felt by any mother. Atmospheric, gritty!! Don’t even know what a season 2 could look like!
It was sad when evan died in the season but the way he said please dont step on me made it even hilarious 😁evan is ❤️

One of the best TV series of its class this year 🥰 I enjoyed watching it week after week and then binged watched it after it ended and once in a while again when I missed it, this show is so good!
I hope everyone and the show wins all the awards! Great storytelling, superb acting, and the location was another character! I laughed, I gasped, I watched through my fingers, and I cried. It's a turbulent ride, especially for a mother to boys. Bravo!

For me, it was icing on the cake to have the dialect of the PA region be such an anchor to the whole performance. And then, after watching this trailer & realizing how many of the actors are Brits & Aussies who carried this off - well, well done everyone!

This series, especially episode 5, emotionally pulverized me in a way that hadn't happened to me in a long time.
Julianne Nicholson and Kate blew it out of the water and were viserally able to convey a parents oaun and grief losing a child in whatever sense we lose our children to the callus world. Most actors cant pull off the grief of a parent! Its usually so lamb but Kate Winslet and Julianne Nicholson were magnificent!
I watched it twice because I forgot who the killer was 😅 Kate makes me focus on her acting rather than her look. She's amazing in The Life of David Gale too

Hey, spoiler alert! I hope you are watching this AFTER seeing this excellent series. There are several that slip by but on humongous reveal that will change your expectations completely!
The casting and performances are excellent and in depth. Everyone is good! The writing, plot and especially the performances are all so good!
