- In this video I go through the steps of making and mounting an amp, speakers, and on/off switch to the battery box of my new-to-me scooter. Enjoy and please leave comments and questions. I'll answer them to the best of my brains abilities. So, yeah. We're all screwed...

Funny commentary...I was cracking up the whole time! Very entertaining, thanks for keeping the footage natural! RESPECT
Genius bro. Respect.
Nice DIY job!!! I hooked up a Boss Bluetooth system to my scooter it works great my frist DIY job!¡
Those mending plates are a good idea. Except they are going to rust. Pretty uickly out inn he elements You could probably use a block of wood epoxied To the inside of mthe battery box Or some type of a Stainless Steel plate perhaps you can find in a West Marine store or any other boat supply store which wont rust as quickly or you can try priming and painting the ones you bought ive also seen guys using a Bluetooth speaker system in a Back pack strapped onto the bike of course a lot less complicated then your system but i guess it works synced to a phone or ipod ?
The mending plates are made for mending fences, which are outdoors. I would hope they wouldn't, especially because I dont drive in the rain. So its something that will have to be seen.
I mounted my Ultimate ears-Megaboom 3 speaker unto my scooter. Works great;)
That's cool, but custom is better than bought, at least for me.
Dope B!
That's awesome!!
thanx! now I just have to rebuild it all over again. the battery box is cracking. fun.
is that speedometer stock? if not where did you get it from ? I really like it
That speedo comes stock on 2014 maddogs, but you can find it on the internet. I found one on miniinthebox.com while looking for motorcycle and scooter accessories. chuckuslife.com has info on how to calibrate it to your scooter. hope that helps.
thats a sick build! have you thought about making a Bluetooth one?
yeah, but that will wait till summer.
beermonkey9424 Sweet! can't wait to see it!
Thats really cool. You could have cut a hole.on each side and put them in that way. Would protect the from thw rain.
that would be a good idea, but i'm not sure there would be enough space inside the battery box. also i wanted the speakers to be facing tward my head so i could hear it better.
Dude add some neon lights and you got a badass party scooter
PARTAAAAY! i was actually thinking of getting an LED whip light for the back. lookup "LED antenna for atv" on Amazon. HIGH VIZ!
Any videos on how the bike is running now if you still have it.
I still have the bike. Its needs a airbox, replace the broken exhaust stud, a better carb, and a bunch of parts I bought to be replaced. Life gets in the way though. I'm hoping I can get it up and running this year...maybe.
i recently sold the trike. ill get another one when i move.
thats badass
come do mines brother
Sure, just make yer way to des plaines Illinois
How do I find one of those radio motherboard system thing with aux chord? It's pretty awesome. Did you make that?
I found the 2.1 amp at parts-express.com www.parts-express.com/21-hi-fi-class-d-audio-amplifier-board-2-x-15w-30w-10-18-vdc--320-608
do you think you can convert the engine to 250cc?
Ali Castro I'm not sure, but I do know there is a 232 big bore kit, an ego kit and you can turbo it. How the cvt will hang...I dunno. Sounds fun though!
Not ego kit, EFI kit
Your bike runing good with no plm at all huh ?
Slim razor yeah, it doesn't affect the bike running at all.

thats where i found the amp.
drill a hole in the bottom of the pvc so the sound will echo out.
so like a port? if i was gonna do that id make a larger enclosure and proper port design...but, im lazy :P
Would not be alot easy just to put a USB port with dual jacks and blue tooth speaker?
would not be alot easy, no.
@@beermonkey9424 you're stupid
@@howardlangford8087 Hey now! I'm not the one who can't form a proper sentence. and to properly answer your original question: usb ports usually only put out 5v @ ~2 amps. the battery of the chuckus puts out 12v and the amp that I installed is fused to 3amps. 5v X 2amps = 6 watts. 12v X 3amps =36watts. the amp can put out 15w X2 and 30w for a sub if fused correctly as to not burn it up(ask me how i know). So what I think is a bluetooth speaker isn't gonna have the wattage im looking for. so now the plan is to install a 2.1 amp that does 50w per channel and 100 w for a sub woofer. more watts=more better. Now can you not be a mean person on the internet?
Sorry Pall, But radio on a scooter?
John Golder yeah, I like music, and I like riding my scooter. Now I can do both. Great, huh?
What sizes is the amp
www.parts-express.com/21-hi-fi-class-d-audio-amplifier-board-2-x-15w-30w-10-18-vdc--320-608
screw that, im just hot glue a bluetooth speaker on that😂
Well you could go that route, but the vibration from the scooter would break loose the hot glue after a short while. Plus most bluetooth speakers are 1-3 watts and not too loud, the one I mounted is 15 watts and much louder.
Or you can just use another phone holder to hold the blue tooth speaker.
Why face them up, what if rain🤷🏾♂️
If I face them down, the sound wont reach my ears. I will eventually replace them with 6.5 inch marine speakers, like for boats.
I hope you made them water proof lol never know when it will rain lol
AA Ron I am nah, I'll just try and drive in fair weather.
are those waterproof speakers tho lol
They arent marine speakers. So no, but I wouldnt drive it in the rain any way.
BeerMonkey9424 why wouldn’t you? Lol I don’t mean like pouring but if ya get caught in the rain your fucked
Well speakers like any electronic devices dont like water, but if it starts sprinkling, I can just cover them with shower caps hahaha
@@beermonkey9424 lmao shower caps 😂😂😂 love it
why didn't you just mount a Bluetooth speaker
Leo jetlife because i worked with what i had at the time. Next one will be bluetooth and 50w, not 15w. That will be after some adulting. I hate adulting...
Leo jetlife you should be fine, im only 5' 6" and i fit. You dont have to put your feet on the pegs, you can just put them on the floorboard.
beermonkey9424 yea but the pegs look kool like if I'm in GTA 5 or something
I did at first. But it was my ammo can boom box. It used the same speakers but .mounted on top of the battery box with ratchet straps.
Completly overcomplicated a simple job
Whats overly complicated about wanting speakers on a scooter?
