Is there truly any difference between Macro/microevolution and just normal evolution? I know the difference between macro & micro, however I'm having trouble because I'm not seeing any differences between them and regular old evolution. Thanks !
Gianna Latarski There is no difference beyond definition. We define what species are. If the evolution that occurs still leaves us with 1 species then it is microevolution. If it leaves us with more than 1 species, it is macroevolution . The mechanisms that cause both are the same.

Or are they simply just branching off from evolution, and technically both are evolution, just different forms?
