The maturity and the vulnerability on display here is amazing. I'm a bigger Scheckler fan today than I ever was back in these days... Best of luck Ryan, continue to change the game and be a positive ambassador for skateboarding!

Ryan really turned out as a great person. I was never one of his haters and always enjoyed watching his clean style. But back then there was this uncomfortable side of it, he was like that unknown guy who shows up at the skatepark and steals the show of everyone lol. Those days when skateboarding felt way smaller... without today's massive influence by the internet.

And just because he is in spotlight and is a badass skater, People want to say and bring up shit that has nothing to do with them, It all comes down to being a decent human being and being respectful to one another. And going through hard times and tragedy or whatever anyone goes though in this life. It comes down to how you come rise up and come out on the other side of all that truly shows how strong you really are.

Ryan should never be embarrassed of those moments and that time on that show, not a skater, from a totally different world then Ryan and we watched as huge fans, and enjoyed his success at such a young age.It was inspiring back then

Always been one of my favorite skateboarders. I actually got in a pretty big argument with a couple of my friends back in the old days over life of Ryan. Some thought that you were like a crybaby and i got mad cuz the problems you had were the same as many others had except they didnt have a camera in there face. How ever we had the same discussion like 2 years later and everyone like, you were right, his a really good dude🙌🤩 now Im 35 years old and my son and daughter looked at solus on youtube yesterday☺️ I said that this one of my idols and they like, cool his is good☺️ Regards from 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🙌🙌😁

he rolled up one time to a high school/college party in HB,CA.....Ryan & his 20 skater friends. He tried to hit on the wrong girl....His whole group tried to act tough, they got fucked up in the fight , Ryan cried while running to his lambo & we all laughed."Cryin Ryan" will & always will be his name to the people that know him for the poon that he is.
That's why we called him Cryin Ryan.... not his BS excuse right here on the podcast....

I was part of the shows target audience. I loved the show and I knew Ryan was a badass kid I wanted to be. I remember watching the show and being in on a 3 way call with my GF and her BFF just talking about the show the whole time. Never once did i think he was soft.. I just wished I was in his shoes but as a kid you dont see whats really going on from his shoes.. glad the show and shit didnt fuck him up on a different level.. Ryan Idk if you read these comments but I wish you the best and i wish i couldve known better back then what they did to you to make a quick buck of your life problems. thanks for staying strong and being you at the end of the day no matter what. -Josh c

I always watched life of ryan and never expected it affect his personal life like that he always seemed just happy and skating and shit he’s always been one of my fav skaters and seeing this and seeing how he’s grown up and matured the correct way and not go the wrong way about the divorce especially with all the other shit going on. Shout out ryan 🙏🏿

Never thought about what he talked about at the end, if the show ended he was still a pro skater so his life wouldn't change too much but all his friends have lives of there own and dont have a promising future in skateboarding so the show never would have lasted that long anyways.

I never really skated but always thought Ryan was so cool since we were close in age. Saw him skating in that movie at like 12 and then games and everything. Saw some episodes of his teen show and heard he’d kinda fell off but then I saw he was getting good again. Happy he turned out good.
