Dude, so good. When I saw my fav youtuber had put out content I was stoked to say the least. Then when it was a flatty and whiting sesh omg! I taught myself how to fish mid way thru this year, partly by watching loads of your material and am not too bad at catching flatty off the beach in ballina and now my target species is whiting off the surface. I have only had one session catching 20cm fish and I am pumped to try for some 30 and above. Sick vid dude!

Hi Mate I did a few hours of casting with big flatty lure this session that didn’t make the film (because no hit haha and actually another whole day on the water with no film because no hit again casting big the whole time! I’m pretty rattled haven’t had a hit from a big one for a while but still chasing it!!!)

Not what i would call lifechanging size fish but great fun on the stickleback gear, I enjoyed that:)

Hi Mate, it’s so stable! You can see we stand in it no worries. Only downfall is it’s a flat water only yak, tried to take it in the Ocean a couple times and it’s definitely not made for any kinda swell. So if you’re gunna use it for estuaries/bays with no swell then I highly recommend it, but if you’re after something for the ocean look at ‘stealth’ yaks 🤙

What’s your thoughts on using snap swivels/clips on small lures instead of loop knots or even tying straight on to the lure? I personally like snap swivels as it saves time and line for when I want to a change up. what do you use and why?

Hi Mate, tons of lockdowns last few months and I still can’t cross the border to go up north to the islands (right now is prime time up there and I usually would do back to back Island trips this time of year!!!)
I love fishing for whiting they are so fun to catch my personal best is 47 cm on a Yabbie with a little kids rod that I still have today
