While memberships are an awesome way for people to publicly endorse a channel, there has to be a healthy way for people to publicly criticize specific videos. Dislike counts have served that purpose for years. Please bring them back so the negativity doesn't funnel into other areas, like the comments section.

It would really help the massive influx of spam, scams, and fake stuff that has infested this platform and that your moderation seems utterly helpless to stop!

I have asked this SOOOOOOOO many times but can you please set up a way to give them early access to videos via the "Scheduled Upload"? This could be a two tiered system, one for members on for everyone else so we don't have to manually set the video to "Public" at a time after members have the early access?
You should disclose how much the creator will receive and how much youtube will keep. That info should be visible everywhere the amount is displayed, not hidden in help pages or as notes or legal stuff.

We're already seeing channels upload videos using a thumbnail that tricks people into clicking on a video. The viewer believes the thumbnail image occurs at some point in the video but never does. If only there was something like a visible dislike bar so the viewer wouldn't have wasted their time on clickbait

I love using channel memberships over Patreon but I have to be honest, I find some of the features for managing the membership pretty limited in comparison. When I've had people join my membership I haven't received a notification from TH-cam and there's no way to directly thank them for joining either. Both things seem pretty standard tools to help members feel welcome and and to thank them for joining. Are there any plans to launch such features in the future? Memberships have so much potential but the backend is pretty frustrating to use as it currently is imo.

I have seen someone show a feature where you can schedule a video as "members-only to public". It appears this feature would make the video available for members-only instantly and then at the scheduled time it will change to public. I really need this feature but for some reason I do not have this feature in my channel. The only options I have are to set the video to members-only and then manually change it to public when I want it to change or I schedule it for public release but then cannot give it to members early. Do you know why I don't have this feature? I really need this feature as the timezone I am in and the best time for my videos to go live to the public does not work for me plus I will most likely forgot to do it.

You should disclose how much the creator will receive and how much youtube will keep.
That info should be visible everywhere the amount is displayed, not hidden in help pages or as notes or legal stuff.

Hi. I appear to be "SHADOW BANNED" and my TH-cam channels reach totally limited. 150 quality vids and just TEN SUBSCRIBERS! All of them FRIENDS! The question is WHY am I being Shadow Banned?? If I or any TH-camr has breached a TH-cam guideline, then you should tell us what we have breached. Otherwise we are CREATING endless videos that will NEVER be seen by anybody without us knowing WHY. Very DEPRESSING and undoubtedly would lead to great FRUSTRATION and even many Suicides. So please tell us if we have BREACHED TH-cam guidelines and HOW we can circumvent those breaches in future ... We're already seeing channels upload videos using a thumbnail that tricks people into clicking on a video. The viewer believes the thumbnail image occurs at some point in the video but never does. If only there was something like a visible dislike bar so the viewer wouldn't have wasted their time on clickbait

@@ItzKamo That means that YT have not yet enabled the Membership option for your Channel. I only know that they enable it once you have 1K subs, which I see that you already have, but I got mine enabled once I reached around 12,00 subs. Good luck.

You can also do that for small good creators that want some type of a hype.. so they can upgrade thier Yt channel and make moneywithout having 1k+ or 4000 watch time .. thanks for reading this.

I love using channel memberships over Patreon but I have to be honest, I find some of the features for managing the membership pretty limited in comparison.
When I've had people join my membership I haven't received a notification from TH-cam and there's no way to directly thank them for joining either. Both things seem pretty standard tools to help members feel welcome and and to thank them for joining.
Are there any plans to launch such features in the future? Memberships have so much potential but the backend is pretty frustrating to use as it currently is imo.

Please return the Dislike counter because removing it has made the Like counter meaningless.
What a good feature for this platform would be a dislike counter. It is something we have all wanted since November of 2021! It would be the best thing to have back on TH-cam!

Bring back the dislike button. Any possible benefit is greatly outweighed by the cons. This is sacrificing user experience for no gain on the part of the user. It's so incredibly annoying, and honestly flat out shows the lack of care that you have for the opinions of your users.

I have seen someone show a feature where you can schedule a video as "members-only to public". It appears this feature would make the video available for members-only instantly and then at the scheduled time it will change to public. I really need this feature but for some reason I do not have this feature in my channel. The only options I have are to set the video to members-only and then manually change it to public when I want it to change or I schedule it for public release but then cannot give it to members early.
Do you know why I don't have this feature? I really need this feature as the timezone I am in and the best time for my videos to go live to the public does not work for me plus I will most likely forgot to do it.
