This looks amazing and easy to follow along. I had flown my C182rg (in the sim) around Gibraltar rock rather unsuccessfully, having guidance like this could make all the difference.
Some of the weather settings they use make it even more atmospheric. The flight around Gibraltar looks especially nice.
It was on my wishlist for a while. I have now bought it thanks for the heads up from your video. I hope FS Academy will buy you a coffee! thanks for the info as always.
That's great to hear Fred. I have huge respect for FS Academy.
Thank you for the presentation.... Roger
Thanks Roger. It's a great bundle (especially at its discounted price ;).
Gibraltar is my home. I love seeing it in the flight sims too. The airport was pretty accurate in this video.
Thanks for the feedback; that's great to hear.
How long is this on sale for? Thanks for the video! ... ð
I believe the price is permanent.
(I am on Xbox Series X)
The IFR pack was good, BUT I found trying to create flight plans to test my newly acquired skills, left me with more questions than answers. IFR (Low or High altitude) plans have barely any NBD's & VOR"s, when compared to RNAVs / FIX's / Waypoints etc.
None of which was mentioned even once in the training?
Surely IFR training should have a primary objective of training flight simmers to transition this into the World Map / SIM? What are STARS SIDs etc?
I'm not a pilot in real life , so my knowledge base requires doing my own desktop research - which i embrace enthusiastically. But i am still in a position where the FSAcademy training that I thoroughly enjoyed has not made the world my IFR Oyster.
This could be that I'm the problem, and I'm more than happy to be wrong/stupid. Or the sim itself is problem. Or a gap in the FSAcademy modules. Or Xbox being "neglected" as has cropped up in recent news increasingly often.
All I want, is to learn/fly IFR and in a manner where I get the ROI of most value (to me), ie: pay money, invest time, learn, test, succeed and then FLY. Right now, im not - and i wish i did. Cos then, I'd buy every pack.
PS: I do think the pdf guides could be significantly improved, and perhaps also be a part of the "solution".
That's solid feedback and I hope FS Academy will view this.
I do feel that there is a lot more in depth content to come from them.
@@Huddison Guess not ... ð
I bought this pack today, definitely worse it. I am planning to become a pilot so every practical lesson in simulator will save a lot of money in the future.
Yes, it's a very professionally put together package.
What if you donât have the planes it wants you to use
Uses all default FS2020 planes, so everyone has them
Already have a few of these training packs, but not them all. Hope they do a discount for remaining packs.
Any packs already owned are discounted automatically
Thank you
