Love these repurposing videos so much!! Another easy trick is that different colored eyeliners as a base will bring out entirely different shifts in duochrome/multichrome eyeshadows.
Loved this concept, one thing iv been thinking of doing once I run out of brown pencil liner is use a brown Lipliner as Eyeliner. Iv got quite a few from sets iv purchased in the past and il never get through them all as Lipliner, iv used Lipliner in the waterline before and it worked great
I love a good editorial look, this came out so cool!! Btw I forgot to update since the last video on repurposing bronzer. I used some as a dry shampoo for my dark hair. I over did it a little haha, but it did work!! And I finally hit pan on that bronzer too!
love this ideas,the mascara smudge editorial look is soo cool love it! Also the other way around with pencil lip liners i have bought a few of more bold colors like fucsia pink or orange red i probably wont wear a lot on the lips but as a graphic color eye pencil i love them!!! Also thought of this because whefe i live you dont find fun color eye pencils that easily and its basically the same🙃
Great video, very interesting 😀 I like everything except the mascara as an eyeshadow, it can look cool in the picture but i dont in everyday life. It looks as interesting as Halloween makeup though
Another awesome video Sarah! I haven't been too keen on the mascara eyeshadow trend but I like how intentional your look was - you had a plan so that the look had a shape, and overlapping shades to complete the look. Well done!
Hi Sarah b4 I discovered TH-cam I would put my mascara on and when most the product was off the wand I would run it through my brows, and I've also used my eyeliner as lip liner 😄
You look stunning!!! I sometimes use my nyx glitter eyeliner directly underneath my brows as a graphic highlight and pair it with just mascara and I love it!
I really don't understand the appeal of mascara as eyeshadow. I think I've reached that old, cranky hag age 😂 I do appreciate this series of yours very much, though. It's a good reminder we can always try salvaging 'bad' purchases or so. Of course just because something does not do it for me, that doesn't mean others can't have fun with it.
These are some great ideas. I guess I have sensory issues on my eyelids lol I tried the mascara trend on the lids and I immediately flinched, squished the mascara wand in my eye crease and started tearing up so that was a no for me 😅 I loved how your lips turned out with the eyeliner as lipliner.
oh the reference to sponge painting took me back... my parents still have some sponge painted walls in their house lol edit: this look came out so sick! i've used black eyeliner as lip liner before but i've never done an ombre, it looks so good

The mascara-as-shadow came out so cool! This made me realize you could do an entire look with just NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils...
You totally could!! Those sticks are so versatile.
My teenager uses the "mascara as shadow" thing. It is fun for a graphic look, but she says it can be itchy if you overdo it.

that is a great idea! eyeliners and lip liners seem to have similar formulas so it makes sense to use them interchangeably!

i use coloured brow gel for my faux freckles. works the same and it costs me two to four bucks instead of 20

I use my brow pencil as lip liner regularly. None of my lip liner are brown enough and I’m not buying new makeup right now. So I make due!
i use the mascara as eyeshadow thing under my eyes a lot. it works really well with alternative make up (which is my go to) :)

The lips do look cool, but I can't with the mascara as eyeshadow 🙈😅
Mascara as eyeshadow is a no for me maybe for a dress up costume but for everyday it is horrible
if you're going to use an eyeliner as a lip liner, sharpen it afterwards so nothing that touched your lips touches your eyes:)
