I'm so confused. The first 2/3 of the trailer makes it sound like it's a prequel to the Condor trilogy, depicting the origins of the 5 Masters and culminating in the first Duel at Mount Hua. That by itself would have been great and something never seen before as a standalone story. But then they started showing the beginning of Legend of the Condor Heroes... Is this supposed to be a movie or a TV series? How do they even have time to cover this much ground?
It is 60 episode series divided into 5 stories. 4 Prequel stories are combined 30 ep and LOCH will be 30 ep. It will be the shortest LOCH tv series so they will be cutting out a bit.

Each one of the five "Grandmasters" you can devote an entire series, or two to, and I believe they have. Then the "Condor Heroes", you can have 2-3 series. How the heck are they going to cover all that in a single or even 2-3 movies? Louis Cha's (Jing Yong) stories are good for at least 7-8 series, and let's not forget Heavenly Sword Dragon Sabre.
I don't get it. I just completed watching all 30 episodes of The Legend of Heroes 2024 and I don't remember seeing most of the scenes in this trailer. There were some new actors that didn't appear in the first 30 episodes. The story concluded with Guo Jing conquering the Jin empire and killing Wanyan Hong Lie. Then Guo Jing, Huang Yao Shi and Hong Qi Gong are battling for top martial arts supremacy on a mountain. The series ends there. MyDramaList shows there will be 60 total episodes. I'm guessing episodes 31 - 60 are like flashbacks and fillers that was not shown in the first 30 episodes. Maybe even a prequel to when the senior martial art experts were young and how they got to where they are. If this is the case, I would rather they had incorporated everything together, like every little details into one giant series and split it into two seasons, instead of showing how the series end and then doing a prequel later. That to me is a mess and a headache to keep track of the timeline and certain events. They should have done it like The Romance of the Condor Heroes 2014 where they incorporated all the masters backstory into the main series as flashbacks. For example, Wang Chongyang and his lover Lin Chaoyin story were told as flashbacks that span several episodes. Likewise, Li Mo Chou and her lover story were told as flashbacks that was seamlessly incorporated into the main storyline. This way we get to see character building and know their backstory as we're watching the main storyline.
I wanted to watch Vengo as the most handsome OuYang Feng.

Because there are 30 episodes more that havent got released. Those 30 episodes will show us most characters background stories
