Thank you for posting this video. I found this video quite entertaining despite the audio issues. The special effects are good. Some may take issue with the special effects or choreography. However, the story is kept me watching. This video starts in the middle of a larger story. Is the earlier parts of the story posted? If yes, then could someone point me to them and their sequence. I am not fluent in any Asian languages so the subtitles help a lot. Please continue posting great content. I subscribed.

Audio issues because of TH-cam copyright strikes. The author had to edit the audio.
The very first fight was spectacular. It didn't involve much of the hidden wire crap, yet managed to look majestic and powerful.
But then the Flying Actor Hidden Wire mode took over.
I admit I was intrigued and watched this all the way to the end. But....I'm sticking with my old reliable Shaw Brothers classics. Only an hour and change long and I'm exhausted. Ok...I also admit I'm secretly liking this
That brings me back to the old Jet Li movie Kung Fu Cult Master.
I was just thinking that this was Kung fu colt master.

The tv show is adapted from the novels written by Jin Yong over 50 years ago. It's just the way how it is written to show something out of the norm and to catch people's attention.

I enjoyed this, I was just making the point that in a lot of these movies/TV shows the main character is 18 years old to 24 years old and has not only mastered all the martial arts of the 45-60 year old masters, who've been practicing their entire lives, but has also had time to improve on each of them!? I guess it would just make more sense to have the protagonist be a decade older to add to the long journey to arrive at such incredible knowledge and skill. Feel free to critique any Canadian film, there are plenty of bad ones to pick from, I won't get offended or tell you "No one asked you to watch", I'll be happy you watched it, even if you hated it.

These mystify me. The costumes, sets, lighting, makeup, casting... All perfect. But the fight scenes are always choppy and odd. It looks great and draws you in, then the fight scene makes the Shaw Brothers look great.
Yes.. a little bit bothered with the slow motion Matrix style special effects... But story and casts wise, this is the best adaptation from the original novel

Wish the fight scenes had the same choreography as Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Not a lot of floaty floaty slowmo stuff.
Ip Man did you proud for decenies in between the wars and decenies after, do not linger on that, please! Other matial arts are far far more improved and made you're kung fu obsolete. The same rule is aplied to you're wart actics/strategies and capibilities. Live with it!

I lived in Hong Kong or a couple of years and often visited the theatre! Some had English subs but some just Chinese. I asked a workmate once, Why are so many Chinese films not truly represented? Personally I do but you have to work for it?

Not bad but they break the golden fight choreography rule:
Fighter A on left Fighter B on Right, picture a vertical line in the middle between them.
Fighter A should always be on the left and fighter B always on the right, Unless you show them switching sides as part of the fight choreography
This allows the viewers to track what is going on
Breaking that rule makes the fight confusing and seem disjointed as fighters switch sides for no apparent reason

25 years later, n the fight choreography n sfx are still not as good as we hoped it to be.. if Donnie Yen Wuxia movie was 110 out of 100, i certainly hope the next dragon saber, heavenly sword series can be 50-60 out of 100. It doesnt have to always complicated n extremely flashy just had some movement sense..
jet li movies have better fight, its just a shame this doesn't want to reach it and choose on love drama more....

All right movie is good, but it's too obvious , when they are going to spit some totmato sauce. After a long fight , the exhausted guy will talk few seconds and hold on i can't hold this tomato juice for too long and talk , here let me spoof some tomato sauce and then restart
This was a good series however, the main character is really stupid and naive. They had good action and good fighting.
