That's what we all thought...
an maybe ironic but brutal thing to note that maybe confirms kreacher being in the scarecrow burning to death is that he actually has a limited A tier halloween skin titled scarecrow, as well as going back to his diary he said he would go back and stay inside the scarecrow tomorrow (on the day that was shown with him in it) perhaps maybe he was drugged with sedatatives by the whoever was behind the games?
(Didn’t mean to write an essay lol) But regarding the drugs, each character is given an subject name from their birthday letters. Emma seems to be the only survivor in her game affected by the drugs based off it. So Kreacher was likely just being himself and his behavior towards Emma was not caused by any drugs (which is pretty concerning to say the least.)
An explanation for how the subject name works & how we know who’s drugged and who’s not: Emma’s for example was “4-1-1.” First number is which game they were apart of, for Emma hers was the 4th game. The middle number tells if they were drugged. If it’s a “0” it means they were not drugged, if it’s a “?” it means the character was drugged but its unclear if the drugs worked, and if the middle number was a “1” it means they were drugged and there was signs of effects (Like Emma hallucinating the scarecrow talking to her.) The last number indicates the order of arrival to the manor, in Emma’s case it’s a 1 because she was the first to arrive to the manor in her manor group. Kreacher’s subject name is “4-0-2” (4th game, was not drugged, second to arrive.)

Kreacher probably suffocated in the suit case before he was burned, that's why when Emma burned it, he wasn't reacting.

I really hope Netease decided to continue the lore and story!! But it’s been years and at this point, I’m not sure if they would make more of these gameplay animations 😭😭 (OR OR! It’ll be so good if they make gameplays of what took place before they entered the manor.)
Well i can possibly think why shes behaving like that, its more likely damage dealt by excessive electroshock therapy she got but i am not completely sure
I think that gardener was aware of her own hallucinations of the scarecrow like when she said that the scarecrow was a part of her.
But i think she could tell that kreacher was in the scarecrow when she burnt it.
Right before burning the scarecrow, she talked to it like she was talking to 2 people using "darlings" "neither of you"
Alsoalso i think kreacher falling from the 2nd floor made it harder for him to get out of the scarecrow since he was badly injured.
This is just my interpretation ^^
emma is my favorite character and her character stories are so fun to do but so sad :(
if netease ever decides to add more to their character stories i hope emma gets justice and remembers her dad because she does not deserve all that :(
Sorry, Emma died outside the games.. the last thing she heard was the name Lisa. I don’t think she remembered him 😭😭
im very glad ur finally doing emmas!!! shes one of my favorite charaters in the game and her story is heartbreaking
i wish every character in Idv had some sort of character story/diary, it would be so interesting and more easy to learn their lore since I only know of game 4 because of emmas, emilys, freddys and kreachers diary stories.. i hope they add some more !

Gardener’s story is probably the most important of the four. Her backstory also connects the other three characters together.
It’s great to see you create some of these lore contents because they really are a fascinating side to the story and are often overlooked by players.
Can't wait to see you do, Forward Magician ,Merc, Explorer and semi Wilding, really wish we had more of these
