This is the theory that i was able to come up with based on a research I did on how and when to open essences in Identity V. there are some times that it won't work out but it works most of the time, I did it with Bungo Stray Dogs 2 and The Promised Neverland and was able to claim pretty good skins including an S skin. Hope this video will help you on making the right decision next time you open essences!!! :D

@@SolarisDrawings Ohh! I know that bit, it's just some people say it's better to pull essences/spend inspirations one at a time rather than a full ten pull/pulling remaining essences. So I was just wondering if that specific method is necessary.
I'm going to guess that maybe you meant that one pulls will be better if you're using inspirations so that they don't all run out. But correct me if I'm wrong! :)

The 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM thing is absolutely not a coincidence, when the DR2 crossover rolled around I wished around 8:30 and I got both Junko AND Nagito in the same session

@@ghostlynilla7450 most likely because most people who pull essences buy them with echoes, so it means they have jobs , and most jobs end in the middle or end of the day , so ofc they are going to play in theyr free time around 8-9pm
@@air_eater9844 I have always think that opening essences with echoes is stupid unless you have enough money for an S tier you REALLY want, cuz guaranteed S tier is about 200 dollars and you can't secure you're going to get it before 250 essences, so you can waste all your money but still didn't get the skin
In composer essence I opened 135 free essences and still didn't get him, imagine if I opened those essences with money

I will be trying this out with the danganronpa v3 crossover😍
My time is around 4 AM server time. I got 4 S skins in that hour. Painter 'Narcissus', Wax Artist 'Fury', Antiquarian 'Bai Ze', and Journalist 'Eternity'. The interesting thing is that I realized that the gap between the S skins I got was about 3-4 seasons. If I don't get an S skin I'll get an A skin, maybe I'll get an S skin again in the season 29 or 30 🤷🏻

7:23 Nono there's no certain time, like the midnight trick here. At some times it'd be "8:00 pm" or midnight time ( at server time of course) and at sometimes it'd be a complete different time. Just pay attention to your guild log, and open essances on the time people mostly got skins at.

Thanks for this video! Definitely works at least for me, got the joseph tranquility skin twice first time was 22:01 with the 20 free ones, second time was the next day at 23:23 with a single pull and my guild member got the s eternity skin a few days later at 22:42. I'm gonna try for eternity soon so I'm guessing somewhere between 22:00 and 23:30 is the time.

actually I do remember that when the 2nd part of the dr crossover was up I rolled at approx 1 am and got Chiaki + one more A skin from another essence, back to back. Maybe that was the lucky time for that period.

And I bought Chuuya too (and Atsushi (40% off) and Dazai... Aaand the S accs). I had to... This is my fav anime, so only this time I behaved like a whale. But luckily Akutagawa was hmm like 118 essences?

Detective Conan aka Case Closed (it was renamed because in America there's already a live series called "Conan, the Barbarian" xD). So, copyright was difficult to get. But it is a pretty good "detective" anime, but be warned it's a bit violent at times. I mostly love it for the characters and their personalities. Jimmy (Shinichi) Kudo is my favorite. So, yeah 👉👈 I got the room detective outfits for Orpheus. I still kinda wish they were available in game and not ghost mode.

So how would we know if we have the green light or the red light?
As far as my experience goes with this game. I never saw anyone getting any skins after crossing 40 essances opening. So I'd say if you don't get an A or S skin within 30 to 40 opening then you have a red light and you'll keep opening till you get a good skin for guaranteed.
However, I once had a case where I got red light only for A skins and I got a S skin. It was with Wu Chang S skin "Binary Star" from call of the abyss 4. I was able to get Wu on 25 opening when I opened on the right time. But then I couldn't get any A skin until I got Joker's A skin for guaranteed 💔 So yah you can get Red light for A skins but might still be able to claim a S skin and vise versa, or you just get Red light for both skins. You can tell if you have red light if you don't get anything after opening 40 essances.

Is the lucky time always at 8 or is it different for each guild. Also does that specific “lucky” time for your guild stay permanent or does it change for different essences
seems it changes for each season, but that is why you should keep an eye out at what time they pulled and received the good skins

I have been playing idv for 3 and a half years and still no limited S skin and this is what im just hearing... pain...

Heyy there, well they aren't exactly there I just used "red light" and "green light" as reference to explain that the game decides if it'll give you an A or S skin before you begin opening essances, Therefore if the game allows you to get skins you should get them when you open essances on the right time. On the other hand if the game doesn't allow you to get skins then you'll just need to keep opening essances until you get the skin for guaranteed 💔

3) I didn't get the 00:00 hack what should I do?
1- you can't guarentee it, it's random
2- I think Na EU are the same, try anytime but after it's half the hour (Ex: Time:37), the times that were tried are between (8:40 - 9:00) server time, and (9:30 - 10:00) also server time, you have a greater chance at those times.
3- Midnight trick is also random it works on times and doesn't on others
