    The doctor who said it could be decades, he is a hair transplant surgeon and, he doesn’t want that to be available, he of course will say this. He will close his clinic if FDA approves it.

      That same doctor will probably take up a diploma course in hair cloning and put up a new flashy sign board outside his clinic. So he really must be looking forward to this technology becoming reality in this lifetime.

    DECADES??? Well... great. I'll get a clone-job just in time to have the best looking corpse at the funeral home. Frustrating. I used to be a handsome young man that caught the eye of attractive young women. Now I just scare children and small dogs.

    • @chickenslips
      @chickenslips 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The strands can be cloned, it's successfully applying the cloned hair onto the scalp and getting it to grow in the right direction, as well as mitigating the cause of hair loss in the first place that is difficult, not to mention government regulation that came from hair loss scams in middle of the 20th century.

    I'm curious if they ever created an artificial alopecia serum to inject an animal models to better understand the process that goes through the body and maybe catch something that might actually cause a cure because the best way to find a cure is to better understand the disease and luckily this doesn't seem to be life-threatening so I don't understand why they won't do it and maybe just maybe it could also help people who are suffering from hirsutism and hypertrichosis or people who are generally hairy so they can better control it without having to go through the painful maintenance process because over time people just give up like myself yes I am projecting a little bit but I really hate those methods once you've done them for so long and dive into what are the cons and why it probably won't work for most people you feel very discouraged and specially after the fact you find out that they're not giving a hoot about finding anything different there doesn't seem to be any clinical trials currently involving hair removal yet there's ton on hair loss this to me seems the most legible process the most organic way to do it heck they've made human skin that can produce hair and they've been cloning it from the person with alopecia so they can actually stick to wherever they want so why don't we just make ourselves completely hairless put the fake skin on that infuses to our skin and we can have hair where we want versus the paradox that's never going to happen with getting rid of most hair and trying to keep hair that seems to be impossible to actually keep because of the weight
