Why is it so difficult to clone hair folicles ? Scientists have cloned a sheep in 1996, and in 2021 we are unable to clone a hair folicle? Is it a ethical issue or the tecnhical aspects of it that are very complicated? Or simply there are not enough investments in this research? Can someone that understands explain? Thanks!

      Look into Topical Dutasteride.
Talk to your doctor about getting a “topical dutasteride” prescription from a compounding pharmacy.
Research out of Europe shows that because of Duatasteride’s molecular weight, it doesn’t enter the bloodstream and doesn’t effect systemic DHT or neurosteroids when used topically.
Thus when used topically, dutasteride doesn’t effect cognition unlike oral dutasteride or finasteride. Minimal side effect profile.

      @@kloschuessel773
Hopefully they talk about *Topical Dutasteride* on the show soon but in the meantime, I will give a brief summary to the best of my ability.
This is secondhand information from my doctor but I will try my best to relay what my doctor told me about Topical Dutasteride:
So Topical Dutasteride is available in two forms:
      1) as a topical liquid, cream or gel that you apply directly to the scalp. Much like how topical finasteride is used.
However, due to finasteride’s lower molecular weight *topical finasteride* is able to enter the bloodstream through the skin, so it effects systemic DHT just like *oral finasteride*.
Where as *Topical Dutasteride* DOES NOT enter the bloodstream due to its higher molecular weight.
Topical Dutasteride stays in the scalp, locally reducing Scalp DHT via 5-Alpha Reductase Inhibition but it does not effect Systemic DHT, this verified in studies by comparing blood test for DHT vs Scalp Biopsy analysis(?)
At-home Topical Dutasteride is supposedly available in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Austria and Croatia and they just started prescribing it in Germany.
      or
      2) “Dutasteride Mesotherapy” which performed by a doctor
Dutasteride Mesotherapy which is only available in Spain and Portugal as of 2020. Dutasteride mesotherapy is done once every 4-8 weeks at a clinic.
A doctor microinjects(?) dutasteride across the scalp much like how certain systems PrP are administered.
Dutasteride’s half-life is 5 weeks (?) so Mesotherapy seems to be the lowest maintenance 5-alpha reductase treatment with the lowest side effect profile. Done once every month or once every two months.
However, it should be noted that *Dutasteride Mesotherapy* is the most niche, cutting edge and least studied hair loss prevention treatment.
      it seems promising.
Highly effective, low maintenance, low side effects. But further studies are required.
My doctor thinks that we in the anglosphere, probably won’t have access to it for a decade or so unfortunately.
Don’t take my word for it, consult your doctor and ask him/her/they what they think about the studies.

I’m interested to know how these generated stem cells will be delivered into individual hair follicles? Injection into scalp will be enough for these stem cells to land deep into hair bulbs? As an electrologist who permanently removes hair under a surgical stereomicroscope, I know how resilient our hair follicles are (until they’re deactivated by nature). If I don’t insert the probe correctly or deep enough into a hair follicle, usually 3mm-6mm deep, no amount of high frequency diathermy or lye production from DC current will destroy a hair follicle.

When using Finasteride, it will reduce your DHT by 70% and your testosterone will increase by 15%. The estrogen hormone will rise along with it Some people have increased estrogen levels before taking finasteride They will have sexual side effects This is because estrogen has crossed the normal limit in men The solution is to control estrogen Either reduce estrogen directly Or reduce finasteride So that the percentage of decrease in dht is 50 percent This percentage also works well for hair Therefore, we must test the body's hormones before and after taking Finasteride You must adjust the dose of Finasteride so that these symptoms do not occur to you Me personally Check my estrogen levels through fluid retention as well as erections If the erection is affected Its meaning I have a defect
