This is the 37th lecture in which we are going to discuss Concept of Social Facts by Emile Durkheim.
⭐What is Social Fact ?
According to Durkheim, social facts are the subject matter of sociology. ... Social facts can be defined as patterns of behavior that are capable of exercising coercive power upon individuals. They are guides and controls of conduct and are external to the individual in the form of norms, mores, and folkways.
A social fact consists of collective thoughts and shared expectations that influence individual actions. Examples of social facts include social roles, norms, laws, values, beliefs, rituals, and customs.
Sociology is one of the primary disciplines in which social facts are studied.
There are 4 main characteristics of Durkheim's theory

Khadijah was the frist wife your prophet frist women on the planet who accepted the islam she wasnt wearing any burqa or hijab to hide their face. Parda means you can cover your body like but certainly not the face. Being a Sociology teacher dont talk like a radical women frist civilized your mind then speak about part of the religion.
@@ayeshayibrahim just see the women of Afghanistan, iran, pakistan before islamic revolution what they were wearing before 1970s and 1960s. The mullahs did islamization and wahabism. These mullahs made burqa and hizab mandatory to you womens wake accept the truth frist enter in the mosque and then talk about society and women liberation.
Sureh ahzaab Ayat 59..go n check it's translation ..Don't debate when you have no proper knowledge about it..Over time, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) declared many things obligatory..Even today there is a lot of discussion about the veil of a woman, but many scholars say that covering the face is also a part of the pardah because the real problems start from the face..And secondly, if you know anything about human rights, you should know that according to human rights, every person is free to live his life.I am free to cover up whether I want to or not, you don't need to worry about it.Live your life peacefully and let other lives too. I know my society better than you..Peace 🕊️

Good effort,, one suggestion there is a need to improve Graphic Skill, and color scheme of thumbnails.
No need ma'am cause your lecture was really good and very polished.
When your content is that good, graphical skill won't matter.
Graphic will obviously enhance viewing experience but we are here to learn, not to be entertained.
