So happy Earle found the Oregon Coast Aquarium (or vice versa).....Looking forward to more updates on Earle and his journey. He looks like an utterly awesome otter🥰🦦💕💕
Well, at least we got 1 minute of low-level music so we could hear any natural sounds from the animal in question. Why are these loud disco music loops common in most animal videos?
To the people against zoos/aquariums It's better to save these ones instead of just letting them die, then you can learn more about their species and how to better look after them and potentially help so this happens less in the future. PLUS they are adorable! Whose to say that it's not part of God's plan that doing this can help even people as well?
So far, Earle remains mostly behind-the-scenes as he grows and meets the other members of the sea otter raft. Earle has spent short sessions in the main habitat, and will continue to do so as he becomes confident in the space and his interactions with the other sea otters. We can not yet say when he'll be in the main habitat full-time, but he is making great progress!
Earle's residency at OCAq makes room for the next stranded pup that comes in to Monterey Bay Aquarium, potentially freeing personnel to care for other pups that may have the chance to be released to the wild!
Earle is not quite yet ready to meet the other members of the sea otter raft; since he is just a pup, he still needs to grow before he can safely be introduced to the others. Our mammalogists predict that Earle will be big enough for introductions in 1-2 months!
I absolutely hate movies and documentaries with subtitles. I'm constantly trying to read everything and watch the video at the same time. It defeats the purpose of the video. Why don't they put a complete paragraph of the subtitles and then show the video. On top of everything else? They give a second to read each subtitle. I really dislike having to watch the video a few times to get the message and watch the content. If you go through the trouble of creating a video, get a commentator.
@potato4143 You are probably correct. I might lack the skill to read faster. But it is something that I can't change. I have practiced reading for fifty-five years. There might be something that limits me from changing this? I don't know. Maybe my brain was damaged by lead poisoning. There were a lot of houses in the area where I grew up that had a lot of lead paint issues. I can thank the paint companies and the USA for that, if it's true. The USA wouldn't stop using lead paint because of greed until the 1970s. Even though the Polish scientist found evidence in the 1940s and stopped using lead in paint. It still can't change how I feel about these movies. LOL. A good day and my best wishes to all.

So when will he be joining

Cool! Is there some reason why he couldn't go to, say, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, which is closer?

WHY IS EARLE BY HIMSELF???
HE NEEDS SOME FRIENDS IN THERE.
