Yes, it's jewel colours for you ! I thought so and now that I ve seen you in purple it's right. I love coastal grandmother in summer a lot otherwise it's Ralph Lauren. Sadly I never got to New England when traveling in the US. Reminds me of Mediterranean islands in Europe. Like your vlog !
Elin Hildebrand books are awesome! I love them all. Hotel Nantucket is one of my favorites!
I could go on and on about Nantucket. It is truly my happy place. I started going there in 1970 and we have family that lived there for 30 + years. I spent several summers, while in college, working there in the summer and my husband and I try to return every year for a week or so. September is an awesome time to visit. I have read all the Elin Hildebrandt books and several by another island author named Nancy Thayer. It's fun to read about the spots I'm familiar with when I can't be on the island. I recommend, my favorites, The Island and and The Blue Bistro. Elin is besties with Wendy Hudson who is co founder of Cisco brewery and owns both Mitchel's Book Corner and Bookworks all which you had visited. I too like to visit the Hospital Thrift Shop each time I am there and have found some great hard goods but never clothing. Nantucket is also the former home of Megan Trainer and her family. Her dad had a jewelry store on Straight Wharf where the Hyline boat arrives. I often recommend to folks visiting the island to take advantage of the Wave shuttle buses. I understand they are free this summer and they leave from 2 locations in town to various great locations on the island. If visiting for the day I tell people to take the Madaket shuttle from the Whaling Museum and have lunch or dinner at Millie's which has great ocean views and amazing food. They also have a food truck at the Brewery maybe Angie's lobster quesadilla was from there. I'm glad you had a nice visit and that you plan to return.

I asked my daughter to pick me up a thrifted sweatshirt when she was in Maine she’s doing her MFA there, sadly she didn’t find one, but we’re heading to Mystic in August so fingers crossed I’ll find one. I love your travel videos the best ❤️

Hi Lori. I just got 8 pairs of Lily Pulitzer pants at an estate sale for 5$ a piece. I sold all but two pair in a week or so after listing.Your daughter is adorable. Nantucket reminds me of Balboa Island in Newport Beach Ca where my husband is from.

I LOVE IZIPIZI! I have bought the sunglasses several times - so comfortable to wear. Also love that the nose bridge part doesn’t get caught in my hair when I put them on top of my head! 😊

Nantucket looks like so much fun! I love to pick up Lilly Pulitzer but only at good prices. Their vintage pieces are so cool. But they generally don’t sell quickly and for nitro as much as you would expect. Depends on the piece though. I like how easy it is to find out what the patterns are. Love those faherty shorts! Great color!

I just bought those exact same glasses at our local book store, I love them, mine were $40, same brand same style. I may have them made into my prescription and wear them all the time because they are so cute.

I love Elin Hilderbrand books and have read them all except her newest, Swan Song (and apparently her last one😢). I would recommend you read ‘The Blue Bistro’. It’s a great one! We’ve never been on Nantucket, but go to the Vineyard every year… definitely my happy place!
I'd pick up Lilly if the price is right, and if it's colorful. I always pick up vintage Lilly, if it's is in great condition. Great video!

Nantucket looks so cute. Never been! I've read the Winter Street series by Elin Hilderbrand and they're great! They were great to read during the winter. I'd like to try another book of hers

Hi Lori- Elin Hildebrand is my favorite author. I love her books so much that I saved all of them. My 20 year old granddaughter has been hearing me rave about Elin for years and just asked me a few days ago if she could read all Elin’s books. So glad I saved them! Hotel Nantucket was excellent! Love all of your purchases!
I’ve been to that thrift shop! I loved it. Bought some vintage towels from 60’s and they fetched a good profit on eBay.
I always pre order Elin book in February and start my summer with it. My favorites are Blue Bistro and The Perfect Couple, which they made into a movie. Not sure when it is going to be released but some parts were filmed in Chatham last March!

I must say, Lily Pulitzer colorful dresses are my favorite and especially comfortable! Elin Hildebrandt books are must read beachside! I have two per week so usually 4 per beach trip as we do two visits now in the fall. And I’m still looking for my real fur coat! I might get to wear it at least twice in the southern winters.
Nantucket is on my New England list to visit. I do prefer the high 70 to low 80’s. I would love to visit with girlfriends that know the ropes so I get the full experience especially on the beach and shopping and anything in between!
I have New England on my bucket list of places to visit. Have never been that far north. Love the vibes of Mass. and the rest. Maybe in the fall would be good. I have several Peepers readers. Love them. Angie is so cute.

Seeing your video makes me want to go ASAP. Lilly Pulitzer is still very desirable in our area. I’m on The Gulf Coast and us Florida, Alabama & Carolina girls love our Lilly in the summer. Even though I’ve heard of Love Shack Fancy you just don’t see it around here. Other than the Target collab which many have ended up in our thrift stores. Can’t wait to see the Vineyard. Hi Lori! Former Massachusetts girl born and raised now living in South Fla. I always buy Lily Pulitzer to flip. It sells quickly but I've noticed they do not resell as high as before. Honestly, I like your N.E. style better. Too much Lily Pulitzer hurts my eyes!!!
Just went there 2 weeks ago! Love hospital thrift! But got off the boat and immediately went to the dump . I’m like who gets off the boat and goes directly to the dump?!?! Me!! The take it or leave is so awesome got so many awesome clothes there!

Many years ago, when I was at university, I met a girl who was from New England on a bus. She was so lovely (with the brightest green eyes I have ever seen) and told me all about it. Periodically, ever since I have seen or heard things about New England and I know that one day I will get there. (Though probably when our sin has finished his university education!!). Seeing this makes me even more determined xx

my glasses always get lose - it happens when you just take them on and off all the time. I walk in to any optician and they fix it without charge. This is in Germany, but I also did it in Spain once. Perhaps you could find the tiny, tiny screw driver they use? That way you will only have to buy new glasses when you need stronger glasses. I‘m writing this in a pair of designer spectacles that I got 35 years ago. I had them refitted with my current prescription.
I saw Mossimo Brand at the thrift store. It is a quality brand to buy and sell.
