I have the don'tfeellikeits every day when it's time to cook dinner 😄! Yeah, I don't like to cook. you had me at don't force yourself and don't feel guilty. i am resting again today it is a day after physical therapy for a hip replacement four weeks ago, and i was feeing lazy
I love having time away. It recharges me. I did knit some this week after returning from a trip. However, what I didn’t get done was my video on the trip. I’m just not in the mood yet😕 So, I’m enjoying watching others talk about their sewing makes😊 I find myself praying so much these days. I’ve been studying wisdom in my Bible study. Have a blessed trip🙏
Hi, Jen, thanks for this video! I’ve been in that space for several days, and it’s good to have a reminder that it won’t last forever :) Sometimes just saying His name out loud helps me shift gears… Have a fabulous time with your daughters!
Been praying for sometime for problem for my younger son. It’s too early to know if the door will be open or another door will be opened. I never feel like housecleaning but I put my big girl panties on and got her done. I clean on Saturday mornings because my pain in the back end (Hubby) works at a golf course on Saturday and I can get things done. Now for Sunday & Monday my time to do what I please and no housework is not on the list.
Jen: If you lived on the east coast of FL near me, I would have bought you a DQ dipped cone to help you feel a little less meh. One day, maybe.... Dori
It's ok, I'll just drop by next time I go to Trish's! I always avoid Freaking I-4 and come across on 70, then head up on I-95. I go right by your new house. xox
@@TodayinJensSewingRoom Would love to have you over once I'm unpacked and organized better. Too many boxes; not enough furniture to put it in right now. Going from a large house to a smaller one is certainly a challenge, to say the least. I'm so grateful I have a 3-car garage to store a lot of boxes and such for the time being. (Costco has great soft-serve ice cream also!) 🥰
Thanks! It's not "me-made," it's a little sundress I found while thrifting. Still had the tags on it! It's one of those things you'd find in a tourist shop. Definitely a gem, especially here in this heat! It's like a cotton lawn.
I can't get in my sewing room because I had major surgery on my stomach and it's really killing me. I used to sell every single day For fairs and festivals. I even have a knitting machine that I used to do That I got into again For a gift for a wedding and I couldn't even finish it. I have a brittle bone disease and I need my knees fixed so I can't hardly walk.

Wow...resting is imperative...my hubby had a major back surgery back in April and he's still recovering...probably will be for awhile!
