Hey, I'll be honest, when I went to go put Animal Well on my Wishlist, just seeing "Bigmode" next to "Publisher," really pulled on my heart-strings. Been here since the very beginning. I think I must've been halfway through Middle School. Now as an adult, seeing it all really come full circle, couldn't help but shed a tear or two. Much love 💖

I went buck wild & beat it 3 times, but haven't touched it since. I'll probably wait til the dlc drops & then do a whole 'nother playthrough now that they've fixed a bunch of stuff (like bugs causing talismans to not work as intended) & balancing. I'm really excited to do a roar focused playthrough.

Elden ring is legitimately one of the best games ever made, not just the best of 2022. Played 4 times myself, and it's absolutely stunning every single playthrough
Almost as good as Knack 3
People frequently complain about the size and repeated bosses, but it still has the highest number of unique bosses in any Fromsoft game by a decent margin. The size as well gives you so much room to vary what you choose to do on repeat playthroughs. Build diversity is strong, spells are better and more varied than ever, and the landscapes are just a treat to look at. The land is so big that there are things I discovered on my first playthrough that I haven't found again on repeat playthroughs. It's an absolute gem of a game and I'll continue playing it for years to come.
Now give me Bloodborne on PC

@@King_Luigi It's still an achievement. It marks the step from a proposed new venture to an actual publisher. Even if the game ends up sucking, which I'm sure it won't, this announcement is worthy of congratulations.
@@King_Luigi You make good points, but ultimately the answer lies in details we do not know. How much additional publicity and exposure can Bigmode offer? How much did the deal cost? How close are the publisher and the developer? Ultimately, they both agreed on the deal, so evidently they both think they're getting something good from it.
And I know you probably didn't intend it that way, but your comments also come across as somewhat bad faith attacks. This is a small indie publisher announcing its first title, a small indie developer's first game. Not only does the game itself look extremely promising, but the main thing to celebrate here is independent producers making something fully outside of the cursed, soulless oligarchy that is contemporary mainstream publishing. That's a win in my book. Even if the game doesn't do as well as we might hope - which I highly doubt because it looks excellent - this is still an awesome first step for what we can reasonably expect to become a very solid independent publisher - not least since it's the passion project of our favourite TH-camr in whose comment section we are presently gathered!

I've been excited for this video for months, and I've gotta say, Dunkey knocked it out of the park. These best of videos are some of my faves because Dunkey genuinely brings so many good games to our attention. Besides, where else can you see big horsey man, gargoyle doggy, Margit, Godrick the Grafted, giganto moose, big big doggy, little Culver, Radahn, magma wyrm, Rolling Tony, and snake man that just keeps going (and going, and going, and going, and going) all in one video?

Dunkey has always gave me a new perspective on games and left me appreciating the games I played over the times. He makes you want to replay the games and appreciate the craft or when playing a new game, have you take the time to appreciate the craft and time put into the games.
It is a testament to how good Dunkey is at being funny that no matter how many times he makes Mario 2 the game of the year, even when I expect it, even when he says he’s not going to do it, it’s still so well executed that I always chuckle. Truly the first strand type TH-camr.

I am In love with these videos. Dunkey you are one of my favorite creators for sure and I always anticipate a new best games of whatever year it is and it always makes me smile seeing a new one come out and the joke at the end always makes me laugh.

Always my favorite kind of Dunkey video. It's fun to poke fun at what video games do wrong, but there are so many wonderful games and even bad video games that do a lot of wonderful stuff! I love appreciating that. Game devs work hard; they deserve it.

The well community has been calling out for a good well type game for decades and finally someone has been brave enough to try it. We’re bored of replaying those parts of Ocarina of Time.
