The Finals does NOT need battle royal. Embark does a really great job creating objective based game modes. theres enough battle royals it would be a waste of time, energy and resources to "experiment" like they did with TA. If anything It needs an objectiveless deathmatch.
I mean people keep saying this and look what happened to both Halo and XDefiant. Only reason halo infinite servers aren’t turned off is because it’s one of Microsoft’s only headliners left. The 6v6 player pool is just way to small for any sustainability. Time and time again that gets proven so. Black ops has 10k viewers on twitch for the entire category. That’s insane for a newly released cod title. Compared to warzone at 3x that. And even warzone is in a terrible state right now. That on top of fortnite adding an FPS mode. Other hero shooters like marvel rivals. I just think the finals needs something for other players to join. The 6v6 player pool is too niche these days
@@EUTOPIATTV marvel rivals is doing fine right now. Players come and go. Games rise and fall. We love the finals, and we will keep playing. Eventually something shiny and new will come along. Ide rather see the devs refine what is currently working rather than take time away to do something that may or may not work
I totally agree with you! We definitely have enough Battle Royale games as it is, and the Finals is better off not having one. The game is doing well and I'm sure Embark will someday create a new mode to impress us.
May be something smaller like ava: s last man standing. A full br would be a waste, have confidence they could come up with something a bit more interesting
New Game Mode, Capture Flag- 4 teams of 4 -1 turntable tower per team (as in Bernal) capture flags take back to your tower, teams can steal from other towers to also bring back to theirs. Start is how do you steal while at the same time protect your own. Thumbs up if a good Game Mode
The issue with the player base is not the game modes. It’s the marketing. I could dive deep into it, however, if you just ask someone about the game, 95/100 people have never even heard of it. It’s really that simple.
This, The Finals is extremely overrated simply because people don't know about it. They need to invest hard on marketing. Just pay big youtubers like Jackfrags to play
@@l.palacio9076 A lot of big name content creators are still making videos on it. Typically right at the launch of a new season. Always stating how underrated it is and glorifying how different and fun it is, but you can tell that they aint putting time into because they're getting deals and checks from other studios to cover other games. Its a shame but I see this game having a following similar to Warframe. Not the biggest community, but a very dedicated fan base.
idk if a battle royal matches the vibes of the game, for me the reason I've seen friends leaving the game and I even stopped playing as much as I used to is that the playerbase has been killing the fun more and more. People tryhard in every single game mode, if you don't play meta loadouts people even from your team disrespect you, and with the removal of the visual recoil in the weapons I feel like things have just gotten even worse now. The game was heavy on strategy and positioning, what made it great was being able to outsmart players even if they had higher skill, but over time it's more and more about who can aim fastest and more precise or know some wacky ass movement metas because all they play is a single weapon for 500 hours and can pull off some crazy shit. I like to play the finals for fun and I try to max out all specializations in all classes and a variety of weapons, so I'm not amazing at anything but I know the strategy and movement well, and nowadays that is just not viable. SBMM puts me with sweats and I can't enjoy the game, nor can my friends. From a pool of 10 people playing daily since S1 to literally none.
bruh, thats like not exclusive to the finals as a game. its every pvp game. If its good or not is another point. Winning is fun period. Idealy it isnt the only source of fun in a game, but winning is fun. We all pülay for fun. So you cant really shit on people that optimize winning by playing the meta or whatever.
@@pedro16797 This entire argument is just a bunch of cope. There is NO SBMM in casual. Asking for "casual" gameplay in a HIGH OCTANE game is ridiculous. Go play Skyrim or some co op game then. Quit watering down other people success in learning the game JUST BECAUSE they have the time and you don't. Theres $100k on the line this year for this game. You really think pushing daisy's is what The Finals players want? Your "fun" sounds boring af to me. But see, thats the beauty of it. I dont dictate how the game should play out solely due to my poor choices and skills. I just.....play the game.
I’m sorry no sweet but I’m that person with 500 hours put into one weapon since season 1 I just love the fcar and can’t get over the sweet memories of what it once was🥲 and yes I will beam you across the map but I won’t T-bag unless you do because you got one kill on me. But I 100% agree I loved the strategic aspect of the game and loved learning new tricks to move the cashout or get better positioning but now it seems everyone and their dog knows most of the micro and macro strategies and it doesn’t help that a lots been buffed and nerfed to try and bring new weapons into the meta… I’m clearly saying this because I miss the old fcar and xp. Eventually the balance will hopefully be stable and they will have a clear direction they have done alot with this game over the years from development till now and would love to see the game soar, it just means you need to try new things and do the unexpected and don’t share theses tips so people will have to slowly figure it out and catch up.
@@T21PLETT I like how all the replies including yours validates what Pedro is saying. Yes it's not just in this game but we are talking about the finals, not other games. In casual play you can feel the sweatiness in the game and there needs to be a bigger separation between the more skilled players and the casual. I can definitely feel the difference when I'm playing against people who don't play the game as much and don't really know what their doing. If you have one semi new player in your party then you get matched with newer players and wreck house. You can sound tough all you want and talk about 100k for a tournament I know you ain't winning 😂, but with attitudes like that; the game will die sooner then later. His whole point was people are toxic because theres not a big enough gap for the casual and people who have no life. It's a game killer period.
More 5v5 variations or modes splits the player base but, as someone who exclusively plays mostly Power Shift, I'm for it. I like the bigger modes compared to the 3v3s
I think they need to lean into more game modes; specifically, I think Team Deathmatch would be good, isolating parts of the map. Also, a Conquest mode with a unique twist would be great. And for the love of God, Power Shift needs more maps!
No im good on deathmatch, to me that mode works best with Unreal/Quake Arena style Shooters, sounds like you have CoD brain rot and just want that gameplay loop in the Finals
@@DangleSan TDM is a staple game mode and doesn't require much other than killing. Everybody doesnt wanna play objective gamemodes everytime they play
YDM is a terrible idea for this game. Keep OBJ based modes only with maybe a LTM here n there thats TDM based. Id rather see Oddball, CTF, Domination/Multi KOTH
@@christiancrews4278 go play CoD if you want mindless deathmatch, That's the problem with you new generation of video game fans You want every game to cannibalize each other Until they're all the same
@@Wavedashnoir I wouldn't mind TDM or kill count based modes as long as there was a spin to it like you had mentioned gun-game. I've said it before and ill say it another 50 million times, The Finals needs modes like Oddball/Uplink, CTF, MultiKOTH/Domination, Juggernaut. Id like to see them somehow make "Tag" or "The Floor is Lava" for a LTM maybe.
Agree but apparently Las Vegas is to hard to make a powershift mode. Got an answer on reedit: *On Thixy's stream, one of the devs stated that their main issue with vegas is the performance. Las Vegas is mainly 4 giant buildings which as he, the dev, claimed will be the cause of server performance issues in powershift.*
They cannot add more gamemodes than there is already (due to amount of players playing the game), but they could replace Bank it with TDM and unhide, 2 teams, everytime you eliminate an opponent, they drop a particular amount of coins, which would be registered to the teams
@5:25 God no. Not every game needs a Battle Royale mode Respectfully, it doesn't appear you know to much of what you're talking about in terms of modes. Sure, people don't watch CoD for the tactical modes, because it's freaking CoD dude. That is not a game to play if you're trying to think. Look at Rainbow 6 Siege. It's primary mode has been the same tactical bomb mode for just about 10 years, and even with them slowly leaning away from the realism side of it, it's been an extremely successful game. Success doesn't come from copying someone else's homework, it comes from ingenuity and uniqueness.
I hope the finals doesn’t devote time to a battle royale mode. The rest of the game is so good and BRs are over saturated and way less fun than cash out. Bringing back solo bank it or adding a rush-like mode would be a better way to capitalize on these players imo.
@@JordanGrayson00 They won't. Arc Raiders will be their "Battle Royal" and tbh, I'm all for it. The change they brought to the FPS scene in terms of mechanics and gameplay for The Finals was enough for me to stay intrested.
@@JordanGrayson00 As for modes Oddball(From Halo/Splitgate) or Uplink(from CoD Advanced Warfare) would be GREAT! A LTM of "The floor is lava" or "Lights only TAG".
tbh i agree the game does need a major update in terms of game modes and events thats what amde seasons 1 and 2 so special in my opinion the amount of events and in game mods made the game alot more fun but the seasonal battle passes maps and world tour just isint cutting it for me anymore
I think I big issues with the finals is it doesn’t appeal to the solo or casual player. World tour and ranked are basically the same and world tour is supposed to be more casual but it’s often more sweaty and you can’t play either mode with out needing a full team or a partner with you to win. They should also add a kill cam to easier determine cheaters, as well as for newer players to learn from. I know for me personally these are the main factors that made me step back from the game and only Play to complete the battle pass. Edit: another big factor with this game is that it seems with every season I experience more and more glitches with in the game which is very annoying because this game should be more polished rather then every season having contracts you can’t do or other in game glitches
I love the idea of a killcam. It could show up then u could skip it or if someone defibs u it should show up. Also a best play would be amazing as i feel no one sees my 1v5s lol.
@@LonelyHollowss not everyone has time to sit and play this game. If I wanted to play ranked I would but I don’t become I want to play against other casual players. World tour is just another version of ranked where you don’t lose anything from losing games
Warzone? Yea im good on that but more creative game modes like CTF, uplink/blitz (iykyk), hardpoint stuff like that would be sick if done right and i like the idea of 4v4 being tried out i just feel like team battles with 4 just require that extra level of teamwork imo (i competed in cod for a long time) either way i love the game and hope it keeps growing for the better
@@gunerz3146 I've been saying Uplink/Oddball since ooen beta and I cant tell you how many fans of the game wanna label me as a CoD plant lmao Like y'all really don't know how well those modes could do in The Finals. Imagine LTMs like "Tag/Keep-a-way" or "The floor is lava"! The Finals being a GAMESHOW leaves a lot of room for the devs to play around.
Terminal attack and its failure to me proved that the finals has its niche audience because it’s different I think the finals pivoting to emulate already well tread ground is destined to fail The game doesn’t need to be huge. But if it actively tries to copy played out modes and ideas (like BR) it will only bleed that dedicated player base People said siege was dead for years and suggested more casual modes. It’s still going. Try to appeal to everyone and eventually you appeal to no one. The finals is special and a big part of that is cash out Just my opinion. I have no interest really in power shift and I think a BR mode would fail completely
@gepsal209 what a well thought out and compelling response. What are you even doing in the comments on a video about a game you hate so much? Make better use of your time kid
I have 3 glitches commonly appearing: Several Ghost hitmarkers that sound different & don’t any dmg, Game crashing during final round in ranked, Standing on invisible objects in the sky / hiding behind invisible objects (can’t be shot) I have various video proof of these glitches being uploaded shortly
Negative on the battle royale that doesn’t need an explination. Deathmatch might be good although i must say the spawns might get annoying and they would have to release smaller versions of the maps. That being said that’s a lot for Embark to work on. Can you imagine how long it would take to fix bugs if they have all these game modes in mind? Conclusion, one of the main reasons this game is unique is because of Cashout, swaying from that might hurt the finals yfm
I really don’t understand why every week is not a LTM mode with just specific gun and classes , I don’t understand how difficult it is to just make a ffa mode we’re I can just load in warm up or just have not to think about an objective and if my tm8s are actually playing the obj
I think a more defensive cash mode would be amazing. An actual bank vault security . Like a heist game mode ..could even call it heist. I think embark needs to step it up in a big way to bring some much needed variety to the game.
Embark should definitely experiment with fresh ideas to appeal to new players. Current WT events feel more annoying than exciting. I loved it when the UFO could abduct players and buildings; it added real tension and made gameplay more dynamic. Experimenting with new modes and events could help shake things up and keep things engaging for long-time players. The Finals' biggest challenge isn’t its features-it’s visibility. The game already offers affordable passes, fun cosmetics, and innovative gameplay, but without strong promotion, it’s hard to compete with the familiarity that keeps players loyal to franchises like COD. Adding something like a TDM mode might attract some attention, but it won’t make a lasting impact if people don’t know the game exists. Better outreach and stronger marketing are the real keys to growth, not just piling on more features. Without that visibility, even the best gameplay will struggle to stick. They just need to find a good balance between new game modes and better reach out. But here's hoping they can do more to solve this issue. I'd be more than happy to see more people try this game, as I want others to have just as much fun as I have.
I dont think a BR type gamemode would fit in the finals. It’s a alright gamemode but I’d have to see how they would throw their own flavor into that type of GM
Just the exposure alone from adding a battle royale would be huge. A lot of big streamers would probably check it out and because of that a lot of new people will hear of the game and eventually also try tournaments etc.. I mean it's still the ex ceo of battlefield with ex dice developers that is creating a new game, a lot of content creators would try out the new battle royale mode. I'm all for it
I would love to see a 3 v 3 mode like ta, buy has normal every thing like healing and ability’s but the way to win is by wiping the other team like 5 times it could be a cool alternative to cashout especially if they made it a tournament system as well
first time watcher of your vids, i do not agree with the BR mode, TDM sure thats fine but the game is nothing like COD and was not intended to be, All embark need to do is add more coummity events and LT events with cosmetics linked with them
please god no battle royale. also from a technical level getting the destruction to sync across 50-100 players would beimpossible. the game is steady and doing fine, though iwish theyd add some of tne other modes to WT for a week just to change it up
What happened with the Christmas skins also happened with the halloween skins... Because I had my doubts but thought ill decide tomorrow before it leaves I still have time... But suddenly it was gone!
The finals just needs to leave the game where it's at the game is perfect. You'll always want something more better than the next instead of being satisfied
I think embark should really focus on expanding power push. If they made it a 11vs11 gamemode it would be extremely fun since there's enough people to always have a fight. It would be a good pub gamemode that way.
The Battle Royale mode, which takes place on a large map, doesn't fit within The finals game's optimization framework. Many sufferers are already playing at 25-35 fps, and then there is such a mode.... No. The game needs a different air. If it is a team game, then you need to destroy the possibility of freedom of choice of classes. That all teams would be 1 L 1 M 1 H, and then the game will be played differently and more interesting (at least for the rating mode). + Mode 5 on 5 in the style of TDM would be a breath of fresh air and it would be cool. Make there one class for example heavy and all, it will be very fun and cool, without any shockers, knives and other imbalanced game. On OBT the game was perfect (except for taser), if they rolled everything back to those times, it would be cool. But now it's boring to play on heavy. + Need PVE mode where you can play with bots like in Marvel Rivals. That is, you can do missions, you can pass the Battle Pass and so on. This will give the opportunity for more training for newcomers, and because of the low online they are thrown to the nerds, and that's it. Only in my memory, more than 1000 players left, just because they were killed by a light that nightmare everyone. And such should play only with people like themselves. Then the game will be for everyone
Where are the events that were like season 1? Every two weeks, something comes out. It's not hard to make them, but after season 2 they forgot about them. That's a mistake. Embark are lazy people. They could have made funny or fun modes. For example, 5 on 5 on hammers. That would be a thrill, or on grenade launchers. Yes, you can think of a lot of things... even the thematic mode with snowballs came out boring. In it, even experience after completing tasks can not earn, then the point of playing. There was a mode in season 1, where you could get a blue suit and mask, that was a mode cool. Las Vegas 1st class... fun.
It's so disappointing to hear people want to hold this game back, maybe no BR; but seriously look at XDefiant and even Halo Infinite. 6v6 isn't sustainable anymore unless its in VR or a hero shooter. The player pool is just way way too small.
@EUTOPIATTV this game has many other outlying issues such as underwhelming content updates. Shitty new/returning player experience due to VR prices of new equipment costing a lot.
I don’t think they need a battle royal mode but I think they need to lean in to what they did with terminal attack and expand on it I know terminal attack was dead on arrival basically but with some little changes that mode can be really good
I don't think this game needs a battle royale, but I do believe that the game would benefit from a TDM mode like they had with snowball blitz. If they were to do a BR though, I feel it would have to be limited to a free for all type style as opposed to group based play.
Yeah they need to ease new players into the game by first letting them play something more like tdm. This way they can get used to all the abilities and gadgets.
I had some thoughts about the e-sport and general clarity aspect of the game that I'm just gonna drop here. I believe team names should be based on their colors rather than generic names like "The Kingfish." The colors should be highly distinguishable, red, green, blue, and yellow, for example. For full-stack clubs, the in-game text should display the club's name or tag, with or without the team color included. (I'm not sure if the AI reading out custom club names is a good idea tho). In standard games, AI casters should refer to teams by their colors for clarity. And during live tournaments, casters could use the teams' official e-sports names while still referencing the colors for viewer clarity. For example: "Red Team CashKings just stole the box from Green MoneyMonkeys!" There should also be a stronger focus on clubs and team customization to enhance the personal experience. Regular players will get more invested in the game if they can bring personal and group customization to the club/team. I basically only queue up and play with my club.
ALL the finals needs is a fair matchmaking, im silver and everytime i play world tour im against all teams full emerald and they are just so much better than me (i soloq so random teammates) its so frustrating because i get silver teammates every time and in wt theres 2 teams that always dominates and the rest get instantly wiped (me) as soon as they see the dominating team
Today I was playing several games in World Tour, and in the final round, we had a team with 2H and one healer (M). We were winning, but I noticed that shouting "Heavy" felt way too boring for me. It’s like grinding, similar to gathering minerals from a rock in Monster Hunter with my pickaxe. Maybe a penalty of at least 3 should be introduced, because the TTK is just off the charts.
The finals is similar to siege in the regard that it’s very hard to play, but really fun to watch. My goal is to emulate what jynxzi did, use my personality to market the game and revive it to its original state
Best way to save the game and to retain new players is to remove the Light cloak specialization. It can keep the vanish bomb, but the mindless cloaking to run around and kill one guy and die would go away.
specializations and gadgets cooldowns need to be more in line with games like marvel rivals, cod, and apex. theres no strategy or reason to “save” any ability for the right time like most other games because you’ll get it back instantly. this just leads to casuals feeling overwhelmed with the constant steam of gadgets and bs throw in every direction. more is not always better, remember “hyperscape”
I don think the game should cater to merely 'gaining a larger audience.' The finals has a unique twist that captures an audience and everyone has a right to decide whether to play or not, but if they don't, its their loss for at least trying. Not saying the game is perfect, as it could still be be honed.
Isn't one of the purposes of having a bigger player count to have better matchmaking and lower queue times? Having super different game modes would in a way divide the players and I would imagine make balancing the game a nightmare sonce certain builds would be much better in different scenarios.
Unpopular opinion because I have discussed before and people seem to be afraid of further fracturing the player base but I think adding a TDM will draw in new people. I play a ton of pubs solo, and it seems what most randoms like to do is get kills, and not play as a team. So it might work to better the feel for everyone, for those that just care about kill and for those that like the objective gamemodes.
I kinda want a fun mode where we use abilties an parkour to traverse the map in a race. Also how about a splatoon theme were each teams bullets an explosives color the enviroment
I personally have been playing a lot of the finals recently, I'm coming from Overwatch 2 and I don't really enjoy marvel rivals. The finals is an amazing game and I love playing ranked, but one thing is for sure, the other modes are really good and I do not understand why does ranked has to stick with only one mode. After playing an hour and a half of ranked, I'm just bored of the game mode. I would love to see for the finals, a ranked mode including various game modes like on Ow2. It would shake things up and make the mode less stale. Also, I would love to see a 6v6, 2-2-2 game mode, or a battle royale or any more generous modes to shake things up.
Recall that these are golden era battlefield devs working on this game, multiplayer is their bread and butter. I believe a tdm, 8 v 8 or 16 v 16 large scale cashout gamemode would be the ideal route. To defer to a battle royale would distract too much from their main gamemode cashout. Already there exists 3 variants to it, to add another variant of cashout could possibly make it feel bloated. However, the concern for the solo player is a valid concern so there needs to exist a gamemode that caters to that need. Power shift, while it does fill a niche, leaves something to he desired so i propose either od the above team modes. Or, to expand power shift to not only more maps but to a 10 v 10 scale. This allows a greater number of both solo and team engagements while still maintaining that tight, personal interaction. I do think that a large 32 v 32 large-scale cashout would be cool. Recall that vehicles were initially in the concept footage. In addition to the cashout boxes we're familiar woth, there'd be large bankvaults that would need to be carried out via vehicle to either large cashout area. I do not believe a battle royale would do well because I believe that many gamers, especially ones who like shooters, are still fatigued from the abundance of battle royales.
I kind of get what you mean with a BR, but I know i wouldn't really play it unless they make it feel finals like, and that it fits well with the other gamemodes and not making it the games focus, honestly more arcade like gamemodes would do better in here like CTF, or Gun Game could attract more people.
quick cash spawn areas need to be fixed. there were a handfull of times where two teams that got knocked would spawn really close to each other. that makes it too easy for the defending team
I’m old enough to remember when a game would come out and TDM ,CTF KOH, FFA , etc. I will never for the life of me understand what’s so wrong with a FPS offering a BR mode …. There’s nothing wrong with BRs , with the finals sandbox a br would be real fun . Undoubtedly they would need to add a few more gun but it doesn’t have to be a large scale br . 24 max on a map the size of rebirth island is more than ok. I’ve played cod since 2003( dropped it back in 2022) I played apex (dropped it in season 5) I occasionally play Fortnite , I just got into hunt showdown (I know it’s not a br) all these games are great and THE FINALS would fit right in with a BR or even extraction mode . Imaging an extraction mode where teams compete to extract the most cash ! But careful while extracting…team will come for your cash . A BR or extraction mode will not keep me from playing cashout , it would really help the finals
What your not understanding is that there are already games that do the BR game mode right. If I wanted to play BR id go play BR SPECIFIC games. The finals is not one of those games and never was marketed as such, when your game is basically struggling to find its roots and find a place BR is the wrong way to go.
@@brooilygaming Womp Womp, cry about it, it's not gonna happen✌. Ah yes using the "egocentric fallacy" to deny a valid point is one of the most egocentric things i've seen in a while.
Im not sure how i feel about finals being br. I know that they would keep the other modes but how would br even work??? Something i have seen no one mention is a campaign. I think this could be huge for lore and could be fun. Also mabye a work space like fn or roblox could be really cool as that feels "embarky"
Give us a sandbox mode and people can create their own game modes that would be insane not gonna lie Imagine how creative you could be in a game like the finals
My take is that they need to merge the ranked and world tour, so then you can have the sweats play at the top of the logs and then allow the casuals to just jam along and get points in a slow way, the points' loss at the moment is very harsh, then add a TDM, then also in the comments from @Valkyriecorp mentioning a HEIST game mode, the game won't work with a BR style.
3v3 arena like modern warfare. It would be cool if the maps were split up into sections that you and your team have to vote on playing in kinda like in rainbow 6 siege when voting which objective to defend but instead it’s just areas of the map.
Nice vídeo bro im brazilian And I need consume english content, because The finals In Brazil/south America is not hyped. The ranked matchmaking is infinity😢, I cant play The finals ranked matches In south América server
If The Finals becomes yet another run of the mill battle royal, it will kill everything it had going on for it and at least I'll be really sad to see it go. TDM I undertand, but I dont think Embark needs more modes, the game will slowly get attention if they keep working on it as it has an amazing base and core gameplay, it being a team game has nothing to do with its success and there's tons of games that have this issue, even League is full of people who don't know what they're doing 15+ years after its release. I think a solid esport scene will do a lot more than variety and they're already taking steps towards that goal. The whole "save the game" means nothing if the game ends up entirely different and the core audience leaves and is replaced by an entirely new demographic, that's not saving anything besides their wallets, and as far as I've seen, Embark actually cares about what they've created, which means the game can succeed, it will just take time.
I thinl they shouls focus on improving cashout, both ranked and world tour. New maps, new events. The Finals has a nieche player base that will continue to play the game as long as the gamemode that makes it fun keeps improving.
I think that the game should lean more to the hero shooter aspects, exp: you can pick 1 passive out of 3 for each class (similarly to abilities) that would change the gameplay drastically, maybe add to that some aspects from moba games Like the buying of items that would provide special effects but not direct damage/health buffs (EXP: gain a shield when you are low on health that absorb an amount of damage and have a limited time + a long couldown to not make it op) ... etc, in short, the game does not have a strong identity aside from the destructibility if you see it from an outsider perspective, compared to marvel rivals, you got a character that can permanently fly, another one that can stick to walls, one that can deflect almost anything ... etc, its just stronger and more varied fantasies to play as. + the obvious thing that is hindering the game to get to a bigger audience .. the performance requirement.
The finals is not an easy game, hell it is hard even for someone that played fps before: it requires deep knowledge of maps, to properly learn the movement system, ttk is very high so you have to train for tracking (the hardest type of aim imo) and most importantly the finals ask you to have a very good team coordination a thing that is so alien to most of the fps players. I found myself losing WT matches horribly just because when solo queuing I was paired with clueless players, which is totally fine bcs l'm not a swetty player, but others can find it frustrating which can lead to a really bad experience for both parts: the experienced player who is trying to carry the team and the noobs who get yelled at. The finals is a hard game, and new people are not willing to spend at least 200h before they start to enjoy it (at least that was for me)
They need a solo queue mercenary mode for WT /RANKED #1 #2 a Domination/ conquest mode #3 Free for all Arena style with weapons/Gadgets pickups I love THEFINALS the tournament style its is core mode n ppl need to get better an enjoy the Game
The finals is a fun game, but it doesn't know progression well. When I got busy in life, I was unable to complete the battlepass, and another season I sunk way too much time and effort into trying to reach emerald 1 (wins). My friends lost interests in the game before me and I'm the last to stop playing regularly. I really want the game to suceed. Many of my IRL coworkers haven't heard about the finals, or maybe by name but not identity. I think there is a gradual player swap with some stopping and others starting, with the rate of change staying the same. They could use a better progression system particularly around casual players and a better large team game mode. Powershift has had fundamental flaws since launch which even i exploit for challenges (such as sniping in spawn or one team side winning the vast majority of games on a map). Bank it used to be better, while I like the fast spawns, it is nearly impossible as a heavy to make it to the objective and one team now dominates usually. Or maybe there isn't enough currently to make me want to come back and play that game over others (it's been real refreshing to play games that don't have any daily challenges or battle passes, just play as you'd like).
I just like The Finals because its unique and doesn’t slap battle royale in your face like other games. All there modes are fun and you saw what it was like having a familiar mode (TA) battle royale would be no different, infact I think it would kill the game. We just improvement’s to the existing modes, maybe more little events in between matches
Like any good game, it takes time to learn the game and that’s what makes it fun. People saying that you need a team to play are wrong imo, just get good
In terms of long term health of the game, the finals is literally just too frustrating. Theres too much bullshit for most audiences, traditional competitive fps players will be driven away by the unpredictability and lack of symmetry, and casuals will be driven away by the sheer amount of tryhards and their strategies that are frustrating to play against. Stuff like winch, dash+melee, riot shield, ALL class types have ALL kinds of annoying shit and honestly i think the more annoying and frustrating a piece of gear is to play against, the more players should be punished for using it. Even though very technically speaking this stuff should be considered balanced(even big comp players like appoh are saying this season has the best balance), there still needs to be a 'bullshit tax' so to speak so the game can be somewhat appealing to play. Cause otherwise the finals is, and always has offered a majority garbage experience to the majority of players.
Not sure how you can say there's no demand for 6v6 game modes when Marvel Rivals is one of the biggest games right now. I think embark should start experimenting with more 6V6 or 5v5 modes like a cashout mode that is still tournament style but only having two teams face off at a time with one cashout (similar to the final round but with more players) and possibly mini objectives on the map for small amounts of money. The biggest issue with this game is 3rd partying and griefing which can only be truly resolved with 2 teams fighting each other
for those player quiting this game bcs they are not really into this game as known as skill issue as known as fragile player , to enjoy this game we gotta love the game and feel it and u’ll enjoy it as you love it no cap
CoD players are not skillful enough to play The Finals.
I agree with that, this game is more skill based
Very true, played this and then CoD and it was ridiculously easy in comparison
Came from cod to this game and it's hard😂
CoD players just look at K/D ratios while the enemy steals the Cash out. It's so frustrating!
@@RoLoXG were you good at cod?
The Finals does NOT need battle royal. Embark does a really great job creating objective based game modes. theres enough battle royals it would be a waste of time, energy and resources to "experiment" like they did with TA. If anything It needs an objectiveless deathmatch.
I would love a destruction based Battle Royale.
Light fest
Make it 2 teams and I'm in.
@normalhuman4951 You would think so, but Heavy and Medium would be required if you wanted any defence at all
CTF is a great idea and would fit The Finals perfect
So you cant really shit on people that optimize winning by playing the meta or whatever.
u just suk
First time watcher, but I can tell you genuinely love The Finals. I love your shout out to the reddit with the appreciation for that shirt!
They need to add cashout for teams of 5, some of us play with lobbies of 5 and are limited to what we can play
Idk if they could balance it with that many players
Everybody doesnt wanna play objective gamemodes everytime they play
king of the hill would be fire too
YDM is a terrible idea for this game. Keep OBJ based modes only with maybe a LTM here n there thats TDM based. Id rather see Oddball, CTF, Domination/Multi KOTH
@@christiancrews4278 go play CoD if you want mindless deathmatch, That's the problem with you new generation of video game fans You want every game to cannibalize each other Until they're all the same
Im so glad the community is finally talking about game modes. We needs a hiest, tdm, gun game and much more
I think gun game would go so hard
@ravivandersalm4586 gotta agree brother
@T21PLETT oh facts bro. And since the population is steadily increasing it's a great time to blow our minds with classic or niche modes with a twist
It's not cod.. chill
What we need is more power shift maps
Agree but apparently Las Vegas is to hard to make a powershift mode. Got an answer on reedit:
*On Thixy's stream, one of the devs stated that their main issue with vegas is the performance.
I warm up with the moving platform mode then normal. Not sure I need more modes
Same.
Completely feel that
Same
@5:25 God no. Not every game needs a Battle Royale mode
Respectfully, it doesn't appear you know to much of what you're talking about in terms of modes.
@@JordanGrayson00 As for modes
Oddball(From Halo/Splitgate) or Uplink(from CoD Advanced Warfare) would be GREAT! A LTM of "The floor is lava" or "Lights only TAG".
tbh i agree the game does need a major update in terms of game modes and events thats what amde seasons 1 and 2 so special in my opinion the amount of events and in game mods made the game alot more fun but the seasonal battle passes maps and world tour just isint cutting it for me anymore
yo maybe they need to stop trying to appeal 30 different gamemodes and improve the one thats actually good??? CASHOUT?????
I think I big issues with the finals is it doesn’t appeal to the solo or casual player. World tour and ranked are basically the same and world tour is supposed to be more casual but it’s often more sweaty and you can’t play either mode with out needing a full team or a partner with you to win. They should also add a kill cam to easier determine cheaters, as well as for newer players to learn from. I know for me personally these are the main factors that made me step back from the game and only
Play to complete the battle pass.
Edit: another big factor with this game is that it seems with every season I experience more and more glitches with in the game which is very annoying because this game should be more polished rather then every season having contracts you can’t do or other in game glitches
U can I would say just get better but just put the time into the craft. I’ve gotten diamonds 3x solo que
@@LonelyHollowsscongrats you're like less than 1 percent of players
I love the idea of a killcam. It could show up then u could skip it or if someone defibs u it should show up. Also a best play would be amazing as i feel no one sees my 1v5s lol.
@@LonelyHollowss not everyone has time to sit and play this game. If I wanted to play ranked I would but I don’t become I want to play against other casual players. World tour is just another version of ranked where you don’t lose anything from losing games
@ again take time in the craft with what time u have common sense y’all can do it I believe in yall
The Finals being a GAMESHOW leaves a lot of room for the devs to play around.
yes bro if they add a battle royal finals is cooked
Terminal attack and its failure to me proved that the finals has its niche audience because it’s different
I think the finals pivoting to emulate already well tread ground is destined to fail
The game doesn’t need to be huge. But if it actively tries to copy played out modes and ideas (like BR) it will only bleed that dedicated player base
People said siege was dead for years and suggested more casual modes. It’s still going.
Try to appeal to everyone and eventually you appeal to no one. The finals is special and a big part of that is cash out
Just my opinion. I have no interest really in power shift and I think a BR mode would fail completely
You are tripping, comparing Rainbow Six Siege with this "piece of s**t" game ahahahaha DED
@gepsal209 what a well thought out and compelling response. What are you even doing in the comments on a video about a game you hate so much? Make better use of your time kid
@@TarboxArt and now u mad because I'm telling the truth hahahahaha this community is gold 😂
I have 3 glitches commonly appearing:
Several Ghost hitmarkers that sound different & don’t any dmg,
Game crashing during final round in ranked,
Standing on invisible objects in the sky / hiding behind invisible objects (can’t be shot)
I have various video proof of these glitches being uploaded shortly
Negative on the battle royale that doesn’t need an explination.
Deathmatch might be good although i must say the spawns might get annoying and they would have to release smaller versions of the maps.
That being said that’s a lot for Embark to work on. Can you imagine how long it would take to fix bugs if they have all these game modes in mind?
Conclusion, one of the main reasons this game is unique is because of Cashout, swaying from that might hurt the finals yfm
The Finals Battle Royal or Extraction mode would be great 🎉
I really don’t understand why every week is not a LTM mode with just specific gun and classes , I don’t understand how difficult it is to just make a ffa mode we’re I can just load in warm up or just have not to think about an objective and if my tm8s are actually playing the obj
Finals servers are expensive. It's the reason private matches are barebones; to demotivate people from using up servers
@ they’re already multiple game modes and some are barely played they can clearly handle it if not swap game modes in and out weekly
They should definitely lean more into the LTM stuff; keeps the meta from getting stale and reason to continue to log in during the season
They should do a map control gamemode. Might be too generic but I feel like the multiple teams and destruction might spice it up enough.
I think a more defensive cash mode would be amazing. An actual bank vault security . Like a heist game mode ..could even call it heist. I think embark needs to step it up in a big way to bring some much needed variety to the game.
Could be cool like payday, but actually fun since payday 3 dropped the ball hard
More Battlefield Hardline basically, given The Finals is Hardline 2.0
Or a Capture The Cashbox mode would be fun. Like a spin on capture the flag
This is off topic but seeing Eutopia using the throwing knifes inspired me to kinda main the throwing knifes when I play Light.
I thought like a train robbing game mode would be cool where one team spawns on a moving train and has to defend it from the other team
They should add a juggernaut weapon that spawns randomly on the map like in BF1
I dont think a BR type gamemode would fit in the finals. It’s a alright gamemode but I’d have to see how they would throw their own flavor into that type of GM
Just the exposure alone from adding a battle royale would be huge. A lot of big streamers would probably check it out and because of that a lot of new people will hear of the game and eventually also try tournaments etc..
I mean it's still the ex ceo of battlefield with ex dice developers that is creating a new game, a lot of content creators would try out the new battle royale mode. I'm all for it
I would love to see a 3 v 3 mode like ta, buy has normal every thing like healing and ability’s but the way to win is by wiping the other team like 5 times it could be a cool alternative to cashout especially if they made it a tournament system as well
first time watcher of your vids, i do not agree with the BR mode, TDM sure thats fine but the game is nothing like COD and was not intended to be, All embark need to do is add more coummity events and LT events with cosmetics linked with them
Love the content keep it up
Appreciate that very much so!
Battle Royale has no place in the finals they need to add a 5v5 tdm and domination which would help out the casual players
Or squad death match. Domination would be fun as hell
please god no battle royale. also from a technical level getting the destruction to sync across 50-100 players would beimpossible.
the game is steady and doing fine, though iwish theyd add some of tne other modes to WT for a week just to change it up
What happened with the Christmas skins also happened with the halloween skins...
Idk if the servers could handle it. Would be fun tho!
nah I agree. I've been waiting for a new game mode or some competition between sponsors in wt (not just a leaderboard)
At LEAST quick cash sorted by sponsors!
Las Vegas 1st class... fun.
Please do NOT make the finals a battle royale
Happy new year!!!
For example: "Red Team CashKings just stole the box from Green MoneyMonkeys!"
There should also be a stronger focus on clubs and team customization to enhance the personal experience.
My goal is to emulate what jynxzi did, use my personality to market the game and revive it to its original state
First - Who are you?
Second - Who are you?
Third - Who are you?
Fourth...
Who are you?
@ I am epiphany gng
1 v 4 every man for themselves Quick Cash mode would be fun
We need more maps in powershift
100% this will be something I ask for at the next dev Q&A
Isn't one of the purposes of having a bigger player count to have better matchmaking and lower queue times? Having super different game modes would in a way divide the players and I would imagine make balancing the game a nightmare sonce certain builds would be much better in different scenarios.
Bernal 40 player battle royal would be insane 🤺
It would actually be so much fun, even if it was like rebirth with wave respawning
I would never subscribe to your channel downgrading the finals talking about a battle royale that's what makes this game unique and different
Test cashout with bigger teams 4v4 or 5v5. Fix sbmm in rank and the ranking point system in general. The abilities need tweaking. Just for starters.
An infected type of mode would be awesome for The Finals!🔥🔥🔥
@ “if I wanted to play br id go play br specific”. It’s always a egocentric opinion
@@brooilygaming Womp Womp, cry about it, it's not gonna happen✌. Ah yes using the "egocentric fallacy" to deny a valid point is one of the most egocentric things i've seen in a while.
@ womp womp cry about I never ask for a br womp womp
@@brooilygaming Love you seething and malding rn, keep the tears rolling my chalice is almost full.
Havent watched yet but i was thinking for the past month about a the finals battle royale
Im not sure how i feel about finals being br. I know that they would keep the other modes but how would br even work??? Something i have seen no one mention is a campaign. I think this could be huge for lore and could be fun. Also mabye a work space like fn or roblox could be really cool as that feels "embarky"
i think a conquest mode like BF would fit more than a battle royale
Snowball blitz was such a good mode to get the "eliminate an opponent with a flowerbasket" achievement
Give us a sandbox mode and people can create their own game modes that would be insane not gonna lie
Imagine how creative you could be in a game like the finals
Season 5 is dope. The game has been dope since season 1. Although I do miss loading a fire barrel with mines and launching it across the map😂.
This is one of my favorite games ever and I just hope it doesn’t die
Do you think a large-scale PvP mode, like Delta Force's Havoc Warfare, would be a good addition to The Finals? I'm excited to see lots of destruction!
They should just add more modifiers and maps to Powershift!
The finals is the shit! Fast pased action with so much variety of gameplay! Played since closed beta, not gonna stop. Dopamine rush ftw!
A battle royal with an objective could be awesome
The finals is a hard game, and new people are not willing to spend at least 200h before they start to enjoy it (at least that was for me)
They need a solo queue mercenary mode for WT /RANKED #1
#2 a Domination/ conquest mode
#3 Free for all Arena style with weapons/Gadgets pickups
I love THEFINALS the tournament style its is core mode n ppl need to get better an enjoy the Game
I really want to see them make capture the flag as I feel it would suit this game perfectly.
BR would be awesome or a super chaotic game mode with tons of players
🎉🎉
Hard disagree
Players are quitting because ranked play is borderline unplayable because they don’t do regular ban waves and anti cheat updates
We need death Match while waiting for comp queue then maybe people will try to play it more in asr
We should focus on servers and glitch patching before releasing more game modes and content
the dev definitely slowed down at the end of the year , i hope in 2025 they can cook something cool and they don't let the game die
