I expertised Edward but he got a lot of use in kvk2/3 multiple times from migrating back but my worst investment was CJ. He saw about 1 kvk and got horrible trades

I'll just point out the two bits of limited value with some of these commanders. Support skills and Orleans KvK. Charlemagne's second skill (10% chance for a 1k shield) can be solid with other helper bits (like hollow square armaments), Suleiman I has skills that are useful there as well for more "filler" bits. Moctezuma is a bit more of a stretch, but I'd consider it meta for Orleans taking down passes? I know they're stretches and very specific, but I think you nailed the order and Lu Bu it's pretty impossible to even think of a scenario to make him not useless.

I expertises moctezuma on my farm account to do fort lv 11 so I was able to do them with like 880 k t4 troops and That farm account don’t have max Military tech it’s missing like the lv 25 academy tech also I didn’t have the legendary equipment
I got the dagger for proc the health de buff more but it’s not worth it I think it’s better the ring of doom with the accessories with 10% dmg to barbarians but still have to test it
Anyway for equipment I thought to get the boot set the glove with hp and the helm as priorities
I keep in mind the special unit for Arabia so I try to focus on health more

I personally use my garrison gear on my best farm when rallying level 11 forts in Kvk, but my other accounts are too weak in tech to defeat one unfortunately so I haven’t really looked too deep into it. You could even do something as simple as the epic cav set or windswept set
