Uncovering Yellowstone's Hidden Wonders: Grand Prismatic, Old Faithful, and Beyond!

We started the day by leaving our amazing free campsite just outside Grand Teton National Park. If you're looking for ways to cut back on costs to be able to spend even more time out on the road, dispersed camping sites (part of Bureau of Land Management lands) are a great options, and we actually prefer them to a typical campground!
Yellowstone is a huge place, covering over 2.2 million acres! We were limited on time (just one day), but we started early and made the most of it! Our first stop just inside the southern entrance to the park was Moose Falls. It's just off the road and it was absolutely amazing with an epic sunrise! Next we moved on to Old Faithful - after watching an amazing eruption we continued down the boardwalks and trails to see some of the many geysers in the park.
A storm passed through about noon, so we made our way back to the visitors center and on to Grand Prismatic Spring. The views there are incredible and we highly recommend taking the Fairy Falls Trail to get views from higher up - it was worth it! After that we stopped at Gibbons Falls to see a beautiful massive waterfall plunging over 80 feet to the river below!
Then we headed to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone - this place is magnificent! Breathtaking and powerful waterfalls work their way through the canyon as part of the Yellowstone River, and it's a sight to behold!
