When moving a note I believe you are allowed to move it to any other place in it's column for 3 mana. I don't believe it requires 6 mana to move a note from G to E. Also, as AZS said, a tile is an entire tile (9 zones), not a single zone.

Tile > Zone. Paladin effects a zone, bard effects entire tile.

A tile is a whole tile, not just a zone.

I also think you are misunderstanding Instrument Proficiency. You don’t equip more instruments, you put the instrument in the ring slot and put a real weapon in your hands to fight with.

Good video, love the MD2 Class series, please keep them coming! Just one thing: when you say that the Bard Class effect is limitated and makes the group stick together, I think you are mistaking tile range with space or square range (zero range, as in melee). The effect applies to all the tile in which the Bard stands, it's not that small. Besides, you can use the house rule my group uses: the space/square in the border of a tile is considered to be in both tiles for area effects (as in Shadows of Brimstone), which I think solves the weird situation when a character is adjacent to another and doesn't benefit from an aeffect, while a character several squares away does. Thank you for your content!

Yes, I realize that now that I was thinking zone but it’s actually tile. I believe the Bard class is the first one I’ve seen that affects a “tile”.

Think of the mechanic less as "music" and more as a "combo", and the goal is to make it to where each turn you can get a combo that works. It's a great mechanic once you get used to it. I will usually set up the order in a way that allows me to get one chord on one turn, another chord on the next, and so on until it goes back to the first one. This way every turn you have a chord providing a buff, and you don't have to spend any mana once you get it going. Since there are so many different characters to choose from and so many characters have abilities that change the notes for free, you can also think of it as a puzzle of sorts, if that is more your thing. Also, as stated in a different comment I'm pretty sure you only have to pay 3 to move a note anywhere in that column.

I think Bards really come into their own with groups 4+ in size

    Super video thank you 😉
But I don't understand 2 things in the rules of the bard
    - can equip other weapon instead the instruments?
    - in campagn mode if in a mission you equip the drums, for example, in the next mission you will keep equiped it?
    Thank you!!!!

For your first question, yes you may equip a weapon besides an instrument. Many of the heroes in that class allow you to hold both at the same time. As for the second question, I am unsure as I have not played through a campaign with a bard but I’m assuming that they would work similar to other classes and you would be able to keep the drums if you’d like and re-equip them.

For campaign mode if you win the quest you can take 7 items per character to the next quest.
If you lose you have to start the quest over again, so if you had the weapon from a previous quest to the one you lost you can still use it.
You can also keep two items per character at the tavern during town phase.
