I Want You - an assured re-working of Bob Dylan's 1966 classic from Blonde On Blonde - is the new single from Ali Campbell, the legendary voice of UB40 reunited with Astro & Mickey, released October 14th on Cooking Vinyl. The single is the second to be taken from the new album Silhouette (out now) following the recent release of the Radio 2 playlisted single Silhouette, the album’s title track.

A voice like no other, he makes any song his own. A unique and very underrated talent, I have also met him and he is so down to earth it is unbelievable, I even forgot to ask for an autograph! It was like chatting with a good friend. Great bloke, no other way to describe him.

I am 50 years of age now I have followed and go to as many Gigs as I can since the age of 14 years old and that's a long time but where are you going to hear a Voice like Ali cambil and robin and least of all Astro and Mickey one of the best reggae bands in the world and still have it red red wine was one of my first time to hear from UB#40 and still the best reggae bands on the planet
i saw “the other 60% of UB 40 ie UB24 in the Royal Albert Hall a few years back with the wife and naaaaaa, you could tell a mile away that Ali and his ‘rebels’ weren’t around, plus it ( the venue) wasnt full, some veteran fans sitting next to me kept yelling “Where’s Ali?” and “Bring ‘em back”

I've been a massive fan from the very start. I am fully addicted to the sound Ali Campbells' UB40 creates. My first show was in Aug 1985 and I pray that you'll come back and play shows here in Santa Barbara, CA over and over again., RIP ASTRO all love and respect

Love this tune. Was a fantastic night. Shame about the rain. Brings tears to my eyes every time I watch this video. I was there with my family and my uncle who sadly passed away early this year. Was sad at the spilt, but both versions of the band still make great tracks.

i have been a UB40 fan since my sophomore year in H.S. When labor of love came out. I'm 43 now and the only music I listen to is UB40. His voice only gets better thru the years. And to have sold over 70 million albums in 30 plus years is astonishing. To have one of the most sold singles (No. 17 out of the top 20 of all time) Red Red Wine is something that only less than 1% of bands can say they have accomplished. The story of how UB40 is one in which a movie should be made. Ali, A step and Mickey still selling sold out shows wherever they go. The rest of the group that calls themselves UB40 need to just hang it up because Duncan cannot continue destroying the UB40 legacy.

I first heard UB40 in 1980, I think it's going to rain today, I was in the BIG HOUSE in liverpool and that is when I became a lover of this beautiful band, I am 64 now and continue to listen, it is very sad astro and Brian are not still here but the lads still continue to make me feel good and Ali what can I say pure reggae pure UB40.🤨🤨🤨
