I dusted off the DJI Mavic Air and took it for a flight. Thanks! DJI Mavic Air: amzn.to/3IUKB0L DJI Osmo Action: amzn.to/3xTYy8O GoPro Hero 10: amzn.to/3Sw7LNV
ive had my mavic air since 2019 it's still like new. haven't upgraded yet probably wont till this one wont fly lol. I've had mine out over the ocean a little over 3 miles i had a signal booster on the controller antennas. oh yeah love that red with those props, looks awesome!
@@CirclingtheDrone I love my Mavic Air. While battery life is typically around 15 minutes I really find that is really a decent time to be in the air. I also have a Spark with is my little flying tank. I think the DJIGo4 app requires some sit-down time to fully understand and appreciate all the features it offers. I've never used the DJIFly app but it sounds like it isn't as in depth as DJIGO4.
My first DJI drone was the Phantom 3 Advanced. Still have it but haven't flown it in years. I don't even know if DJI still has an app that will let me fly it anymore. IOt's in perfect shape with extra batteries and filters. I need to try and find out if it can still be flown and what app if any will work for it these days. It is a tank for sure but flew really nice back in the day.
I haven't flown my Air in a couple years now..... I wanna put it back up, but I don't see the DJI Go 4 app in the play store ... Can someone help me out with this???
@@CirclingtheDrone I went to the website and did the same. I was able to download the file onto some of my older phones and use them as a monitor, instead of my current phone. Some of the old phones had a daylight option for the display, and I can see the image much better now. I own the same drone, it's a solid piece of equipment. enjoyed the vid thanks. BTW, don't feel bad about the antenna, I always forget to take the gimble cover off, and the wonder why the gimble overload warning pops up, lol. Incidentally, I just recently managed to find a set of goggles for this drone...what a game changer!
still the best drone in 2023
I'm still using mine as well. Still a great drone. I love it. Only problem is it's so hard to find batteries for it
DJI is currently selling them on their website for $80.00 a piece as of 3/21/24. I just bought 2 of them.
best designed drone! they should copy this design for the air 3 and just upgrade the camera, Ocusync and battery.
Please help. Google Play store Go Fly does not support Mavic Air

I want to buy one for myself now, but as I see, batteries are not sold anywhere, or if they are, they cost the price of one drone

You have to download directly from DJI.com
I have the same problem. I have a DJI Mavic perfect condition that will not connect to the controller and I can't use because of that and the app.
