Whoa, too much stuff here for me to report on in one go. heh Dude, At The End is really a gem but it stops so abruptly, I assume it was something that was never really finished? The layering of the vocal melodies is really fantastic. You should re-vamp that one! I hear some oldskool punk in that "I Need Stimulation" and the dark chunkyness of "Laughs" sounds like it was supposed to be for a Wurmfeed piece. Almost sounds like something that was made around the time "My Love, Degloved" came out, for some reason. "Leg go the dust" is chill but chipper. Has a bit of a happy "end credits" theme to it. "Come to Me" is really cute. That definitely sounds like something that would have gotten massive radio play if it has been released in the early 2000s. If I didn't know any better, I'd almost think it came out of that decade. I think "star power" takes the cake here. XD It gives me similar vibes to "SIT ON THE FLOOOOOORRRR". Sometimes I'll come out with a post called "Not a Mixtape" and it's assorted stuff from various projects of mine but if I wanted to assemble a hodge-podge of unfinished/random stuff like this, I wouldn't even know where to start. I can only imagine that you're a bit like me in that you have oodles of other stuff that's been forgotten, swill WIP or was just procrastinated into obscurity. heh Pretty based "studio", too. It's not too dissimilar to my own little "work station". I even some dumbells and multiple guitars that are kinda just "THERE". The loose ductwork would drive me crazy though. XD
thanks dude that was actually a pretty thorough review 😄 but yeah I was really surprised with the amount of material I just had sitting on my iTunes; with the DAW it'd be much more. & that's funny you liked At the end the best, I just thought it was a bit too melodramatic at the time I wrote it, but it's got a cool melody for sure. my favorite of the bunch is probably come to me & what are you complaining about. I don't even know I how I programmed all that lol. yeah just do a release though. I'm embracing the wabi sabi mindset, there's no 'perfection'
