My mom is feeling that way, going through what is likely going to be a divorce after 34 years, due to my fuckwit dad cheating, saying he'll stop, and then doing it again... at the very least for the last 4 years. She is one of the best people I know in the world. She has dont everything possible to keep her 5 kids happy, and feels that because shes going through this right now, that she was never good enough. I constantly remind her that yes, she wasnt good enough, she was more than "just good enough." And always will be. You are always more than good enough in at the very least to one person. For a while I’ve been so stressed and depressed with a few family deaths the last several years, my parents divorce, bullying in school, and people close to me treating me like absolute shit and comparing me to my peers who apparently are “more successful than I am.” It was like I didn’t know where to go from here and thought I was a burden to society. This song brought tears to my eyes and is my new favorite inspirational song.
