    Hey Matt! I'm glad you're happy with the improvements you made to your Fat Bay!!! I'm also sure you'll really appreciate those panniers on your next trip! Plus all the wind protection you get from the Memphis Shade! Good Job with this video! Keep them coming! John in Oregon USA

    Stock is shocking for a pillion, ask my wife. I purchased the HD Sundowner for those rides I would pillion my wife. Then swapped back to stock when no pillion. The Sundowner took me up and forward, which I hated. I also purchased a Stock Wide Glide seat , solo seat. It was an awesome look and a great ride.

      Yeah she bloody gets up me if I forget to change it hahaha.
      The sundowner is very comfy for her but Yeah same issue puts me forward and up too much abit annoying.
      Standard I can ride all day on surprisingly

    Great honest review.
    Wish I had found a vid online to assist with screen selection for my MS Road Warrior.
    I ended up chatting to multiple people through Facebook groups about which screen height to get...
    Truly so dependent on rider height, seat height/position and whether you rock a full face or open lid.
    Reckon you covered it all really well 👍

    installed the road warrior fairing with ease with the help of your how to video, thankyou. i am missing the windsheild though and was wondering where you bought it? i didnt see it on the memphis shades website.

    • @Gnarly_Harley
      @Gnarly_Harley  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh that's bloody awesome ! Glad I could help out mate. Ahh okay yeah it's abit confusing but when you are on the fatbob fairing page with price add to cart etc etc it should say (windshields sold separately with a clickable link) then it will have the windshields there. The picture isn't of the fatbob because the road warrior screens are all the same.
      Should say "STANDARD WINDSHIELDS FOR ROAD WARRIOR FAIRING"
      Hope this helps man 🤙
      Memphis shades should pay me hahahaha

    I put a Memphis shades fairing on my Dyna, the turbulence and buffeting was insane!! One day, ride it with and without and see if you notice any difference?

    • @Gnarly_Harley
      @Gnarly_Harley  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh really wow. it's been great tested it with both keeps the wind off my chest. Hits me from about the nose up still though I guess depends on seat height too and out physical height. It's been bloody awesome loving it for the longer trips !

    • @glennstatham960
      @glennstatham960 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      that's what I mean..inside the fairing down low, you could read a book, but up around the head it just bumped and thumped me helmet like a tumbler drier.

    • @Gnarly_Harley
      @Gnarly_Harley  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @glennstatham960 ahhh bugger, I don't get much buffeting man it seems pretty good. I don't get the head shakes or anything like that. Maybe I sit a little lower ? Idk 😅 but all I can say is it's helped my back alot haha

      @@Gnarly_HarleySo different I guess. My 06 Dyna has 13" shocks on the back, rides like a sportsbike but with that ground clearance it's hard to scrape anything. Just had to put it on the lift for a gearbox oil leak, so now I'm back to my 06 Night Train with 4" over forks, dropped arse and 245,000kms, totally different, rides like crap but looks good haha!

    • @Gnarly_Harley
      @Gnarly_Harley  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah that's it hey. Oh true ! I'm looking at upgrading my suspension so you'd recommend 13" ? I haven't looked into it yet but I'm definitely feeling I need to upgrade the suspension. Ahh bugger man. Oh hell yeah I love the look of night trains man

    I love my sundowner , I stick my sissy bar on to detract from the fat arse of it, standard seat is great for short blats around the block but numbs ur arse after 100k, I’m 6’1” and I find I sit further back with the standard seat. Good vlog yet again 👍👍

    • @Gnarly_Harley
      @Gnarly_Harley  ปีที่แล้ว

      The sundowner is bloody awesome man ! Very comfortable I agree. Yeah the standard is nicer looking but already found my back starts to hurt abit. Will do abit more testing on it haha.
      Thank you, I appreciate the feedback

    Personally, the only fairings I like are the batwing & the Kawasaki Z1 cafe racer type. But yours looks good with the twin headlights. Except for the windscreen. For me, it's aesthetically too tall, which gives it an adventure bike look. I know that is your history, but also realise your height needs a taller screen. But then again, that is what I find aesthetically pleasing. & it's not my bike, so you need to do what YOU like.
    I said 8/10 too. Giggles
    Happy trails, Cowpoke

    Hey dude... how much u pay for it... also I'm just shy of 6 ft... you recon the 11 inch is the go??

    • @Gnarly_Harley
      @Gnarly_Harley  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey mate it was around $750 AUD roughly give or take. Yeah mate I'm bloody loving it and I'm 6"3. The wind still hits me from the nose up... I could go abit bigger but then it starts to not look as good and we all want our bikes to look good haha.
      Also depends on your seat height but I'd say at your height it's going to be great man

      Cheers mate... enjoy your style... pissed myself the other night when u were loosing it cause the bike was breaking down... like how u show all that stuff as well...
      Any way.. good review I'm gonna order the 11 inch for my Fatbob..

    Taller the rider shorter the windshield

    • @Gnarly_Harley
      @Gnarly_Harley  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Really, What is the science behind this ? This windshield made a huge difference, took 80% of the wind off my chest. Stoked with it !!!
