Jerusalem is absolutely fantastic. I'm not into choir music, but Jerusalem is one of these pieces that cause every single hair on my body to rise, send shivers down my spine, and just freezes me in place.

I'm from Manchester as well, I was born in 1970 but left in 1982 to live in Brisbane where I'm still based today. It was never a grim place or time for me - I had a very happy childhood there for the most part. But I am now very worried for what's happening in England now with so many terrorist attacks, especially the shootings at Ariana Grande's concert a few years ago and more recently the stabbings out in Southport. The North will stand, regardless! :-)
I loved this song so much when it came out. It's ingenious just to name citys along a motorway and make a song out of it. I loved this band so much. I was an essex scooter boy in the 80s , we'd travel the country for the seaside parties often in the north . This song perfectly sums up our adventures in these exotic foreign places - post industrial Victorian mill towns with very down to earth people . Love it .

This track can't tire me at maximum volume levels too with its phenomenally smooth and deep bass kicks. The original, extended part 1 and part 2 versions are absolutely perfect.
This track declares total war on the senses. And as someone with ASD, it will therefore always hold a special place in my heart. This is our daily conscious experience in musical form.

I spray painted, The KLF on any wall I found, had huge pyramid and speakers Pic on my school bag, the regular Afrikaans kids could not grasp the light years this band was ahead of its time.

It's about variety. When you look at music styles some are combinations of different styles/directions eg the sudden restart up at the end which launches into a new song/direction. Compare that to punk, rap, grime, disco, etc...... Often just follow one line of direction. From start to finish. Classic example of this is club tunes and especially when they can mix several tunes on one drum pattern. Fine if your idea of music is duh duh duh....... But it doesn't go anywhere in most cases.
Bought this 12" when it came out late 1990 from the classic social commentators and music gurus KLF love the classic sample of Jerusalem at the end 😎✌️.

The KLF is of my time, right in beginning, middle and end. I remember having IGUN on CD, at a friends house party (his dad was moving out of the house, and it was empty....what was he thinking....) furniture was still there, inc the CD player AND sub......so this was played constantly at midnight. Heard this at a rave in cambridge one damp december evening, already knew the track being a huge klf fan at the time, but never heard it in a rave before, not while i was off me nut, and omg, the extended version is beyond awesome, what with all the smoke and lasers flying through the air, hands up, it was a memorable moment to say the least! At one point the klf were probably one of the most sampled groups during their time, ironic considering their origins, but you would hear the original version of What Time Is Love on various acid rave tracks with just some vocals thrown over the top, you would think the klf are being played and it would be some other track that just sampled huge chunks of the klf and called it their own, again, the irony is not lost on me and it should not be with you =) I still have all my KLF vinyl after all these years, got this on white label, as well as all the pure trance releases, and the majestic Space, the only thing missing is Chill Out, but i still have that on CD and a ripped mp3 which still gets played to this day!
Living in bumfuck assbackward Portland, OR when this was released it never made it there. I missed so much of their output back then. So glad they are releasing all this now. Thank you KLF!
