warden is a great tower for this event, placing even 3 of them is enough to deal with all the ghosts on every wave, 4-5 is extra defense as well, oh and stunlocking, i guess.
If you have sledger, I recommend using it because it helps out alot especially on wave 19 with the freezing and 2x damage on frozen enemies. the bad thing is that sledger cannot freeze burning enemies caused by pyros
I did this in duo with a random dude. We didn't talk about using a specific strategy, but as soon as the second part to Act II started, he immediately placed a lvl 3 dj down and only focused on upgrading mortars. So I placed down accelerators and commanders to chain for the rest of the match and we won without having any close calls. It turns out that you can beat the event easily if people only place high dps with supports while one person focuses on placing down mortars. I don't know about solo though, you probably need both engineer and accelerator to do that (I haven't tried it because I don't have engineer 😢)
I beat it with my friend twice, it honestly is pretty simple. My loadout was commander, accel, ace, g pyro (normal pyro is fine too), and any spare unit that has heavy damage, like ranger (i picked engi). My friends loadout was accel, ranger, dj, g pyro, and mortar
Tip: You Coul've Upgrated Pyro to lvl 3 earlier For Defense Melting , alot of enemies in act 2 have defense , it would've been just easier u'know, because alot of enemies that went almost to the end , had some defense.

i love the biggest reson that this event is hard are the hollow gaurd’s and the reson shotgunner did 0 dameg is bc the extra shield hp dosent count (it has the mutastion moddifire) and enemy’s that are on fire cant freeze so pyro is a kind of realistic. still less defen’s is better than sledger in most cases
I beat Act 2 for the first time today, this event is exactly like Pizza Party. The waves are tough but then the boss is absolutely terrible. Jack O' Bot got stuck in a corner for the entire game while Mortars, a few Rangers and my Accelerators (which, not all of them were hitting the boss, only the ones which could see the track from where I placed them when max level + max DJ) completely cheesed this boss. Easiest boss kill of my life, literally was no need for a Commander or Medic. Yes, this was even easier then Grave Digger, Molten Boss, Fallen King, you name it.
engeener helps alot spam lvl 3 engeeners and with dj and 2 commanders and 1 person getting max lvl motar it will make you go to wave 15 or 16 depends if you upgrae dj for mortars mortars do alot of dps
No joke beat the event while none of us using commander, for tips I recommend using ranger just because of how much it can shred. Just a couple of level 2-3 rangers will shred Frankensteins and demons when set to strongest.
i think the lore here is that umbra comes back according to cutscene because i havent played tds for sometime (quitted april 2023, came back october 2023)
I swear to God I just think this is the most UNNECESERALLY hard event in tds it just doesnt help with anything at all, just makes it hard. I just spended like hours and days on this event and I couldnt do it. Atleast you got lucky
elite i'm not sure if you know this or not but plush minigunner skin actually nerfs the tower as only the torso can be selected, this is something that only affects plush minigunner none of the other plush skins have this issue so i would recommend that you use a different minigunner skin for the time being.
elf camp is a VERY good tower for wave 10+ and if you get enough money before wave 10 you can get a level 5 elf camp but usually u get a level 4 but enough money to almost get level 5
In act 2 my random teammates always forget something but I'm ready for it with my loadout No pyro? I have that. Missing some mortars? All under control. And some other towers that are pretty good for it
Lord exo is the name of the last act and will have 6mil or they will nerf it or they make it 6 people and you get a lot of money the guards will probably have 500k hp
The event is challgeing for the foe spam it has the boss is a joke however all the foes cause pain. The main issues are the werewolf and reapers both be tanky and somewhat fast good thing sledger is nutty in this act
Honestly, accel, golden soldier and mortar are the meta for this map, no need to bring (almost) anything else other then both commander and dj (Medic and sledger are great options too)
Motar makes everything a Joke. It's just the Tanky ones that are an issue. This ESPECIALLY goes for the Hollow, which was the intent for that enemy, I'm guessing.
Pursuit is another major mvp. Same with Ace. Untouchable and both have insane dps and splash. I run Gsoldier, Commander, Dj, Pursuit, and whatever dps tower im feeling with duos. Pretty good clears.
did it duo, for act 1, p1 just places lvl 2 ace pilots while p2 places lvl 2 gold soilders, then spam accel when refreash. for act 2, same strat, but p1 puts the helicopters and dj, upgrade dj lvl 3 then spam lvl 3 heli's and then max dj and put accel, same strat from act 1 with act 2, just put commanders on map refreash for act 2, (p1)
actually im pretty sure act 2 is more fun and easier than act 1, not sure if its luck but me and my friends beat act 2 duo stratless FIRST TRY, then with act 1 it took me many tries, i think its because of the size of the map and because you dont really expect to beat wave 10 reset.
you forgot one thing... if a low level player joins in matchmaking or event with matchmaking it pairs up with familiar level so if its like 40 level then it would be somewhere around it and its hard to get higher level

The reason why Pyro isn’t dealing any damage is because of the shield health. The game doesn’t add shield health into the total damage counter.

It’s literally impossible to get into a EXPERIENCED 3 man server without anyone leaving.
For solo, I just use gold soldier for early game. Then in the next phase of the game move onto my heavier damaging towers + Commander.
