Highly recommend all of you lat move to infantry. IMC has better, longer training than MCT, more opportunities to become a leader, and you truly feel like an elite warrior after you are finished.
as a former 0621 Field Radio Operator that was lucky enough to serve in a infantry battalion...i agree. infantry is where the stories are made! and for those that think you can't gain any useful skills in a grunt unit stfu. i know grunts and infantry POGs that are making mad money in every sector of the workforce. go to SOI, Boots.

Hey fellas IM an army vet of 10 yrs, my youngest is going to basic at Pendleton. My question I know in Army if you wore army clotheing to basic you were rode hard. Is it same for the corps? thank you gentelmen for your service AAATW RLTW
Are you talking about basic training? Basic is either San Diego or Parris Island. The crucible for the boots in San Diego is held in Camp Pendleton. These guys are in MCT which is after basic. What do you mean by army clothing? Are you talking about civilian clothes with army branding type stuff?
After mct you go to your designated MOS school unless you were a 03 would you be going to ITB which would be your school if you were in the infantry and after you’re done with your designated school you go to the fleet marine force
