Side note for those who enjoy user skins: skins for the normal, flat-backed Su-25s should work almost flawlessly on the SM3! You just need to add a copy of the .blk file, rename it for the su_25sm3, then open it with notepad and do the same for the "from" lines of code within that .blk file

Thats what happens when you launch a missle at a not particularly hot plane almost perpendicular compared to your launch position as he changes aspect (he went from side to head on) while dropping flares.

The one place I can see this thing excelling in is Sim CAS, there’s an actual danger to approaching SPAA so it’s long range helps, and the rewards are much better for ground kills in Sim

Awesome video as always, but I have one minor gripe: You call the jet "overtiered" in Air Battles, but I think it's a better point (and more accurate) to say that the current game design of Air Battles doesn't support the jet well.
Gaijin's current system of BR's is never, within the current design of the game, going to balance. What's needed is a better game mode. I think if we as players can change our understanding and language around that, we can better pressure Gaijin to actually give us gameplay worthy of the amazing library of content they've created.

the missile is so disgusting, you are basically fodder for both anti air and other CAS tho, taking it to air RB is pointless and for CAS I do prefer the mig27K, but I guess it is a nice niche for when you need enough weapons to kill the entire enemy team without landing

@@groucho1080p It has a pretty decent bomb load for a CAS plane, I find. Not only in amount, but also in what you can carry.
But the main claim to fame is that ability to soke up damage, not that you should.
I tend to prefer flying the A-10 over this, despite the A-10 being far squishier and despite it also being very slow. But it just feels a bit better in all other respects. But that may be more of my personal preference.

Nothing detects IRST locks, but the MAW will detect the missiles.
