Which numbers you used. I'm about to install 64gb ddr5 on my B650 mobo.
Yeah! Got it to work with your parameters (mostly) on my Auros B650 with 7950x and 4x32GB=128GB Hynix A die sticks. The only difference is a 0.025V VDD increase (to 1.425V, VDDQ remains at 1.400V) to make it run more stable. 1st time to get 4 stick to post at 6000MT in 6 months! Thanks!
I refined/lowered my voltage settings, now SOC @ 1.25 (in bios, but 1.30 actually as gigabyte boards add an extra 0.05v for some reason), vdd(ram) at 1.410V, vddQ at 1.395V. Now running stable with bios F8d. Please retrain your memory after each setting change. The board may not retrain it on non-memory voltage/freq setting changes, but you shall force it to retrain.
@@jnjnqy Thanks. How do you force it to retrain please?
@@LXR_86 Try to set that mem context option to disable and it seems to force the board to retrain on the next boot. Then set it to enable and save, and reboot again.
@@jnjnqy thank you...brilliant info!

Thanks for the video, tried your settings with my Aorus X670 elite ax, a 7800X3D and 128 gb of Dominator Titanium, worked like a charm!
And can keep my Co stable at -35, so that’s nice 😅
What about with 13900 CPU?
Yoo can you help me I got the same build as you 😅
@copykatten Care to share your settings? I've got an Asus rog crosshair x670e hero , 7950x3d, and 128 gb dominator titanium but can't get it to post at 5200 let alone 6000!
@@V3RYRVR3TVyou every figure it out? I had mine at 5800mhz till I updated the bios. Now I'm trying to get that 6000mhz.
RTX 4090? What a madman!! Great video, by the way! Glad you're showing the tests and failures, the whole experience, of actually getting it working. Very relatable!
Kudos to you! My four 32GB Adata Hynix A-die sticks are now running at 6000MHz on a B650M AORUS motherboard. I simply copied your settings and it just worked! Your video gave me the courage to buy four RAM sticks and try memory overclocking for the first time in my life!
A win is a win! That’s awesome!
Nice
Very excited to try it tonight. Using my 4 sticks at 4800mhz . Label frequency is 6400
Did it work if so what are your speeds now?
Got the same exact RAM setup and 7950x. Very smart and powerful setup, I think 64GB 6000MHz is a perfect mix of speed & capacity.
Thank god I came across this again, I’m just waiting on another two sticks arriving so will be REALLY needing this
I finally put my system together, it posted within 30 seconds first try with the 64 gigs of memory I really lucked out. The only issue I had was my CPU 7900X was heating up then the whole system shut down. I fixed it my moving he wire on the NZXT Elite pump from CPU FAN to CPU OPT and the temps went down into the 30's at idle. I played Diablo 4 and the temps went into the upper 50's for about 30 seconds then dropped back down into the low 40's for the rest of the time playing. I could not be happier how it turned out. I haven't had the need to undervolt or anything as of yet.

I have Kingston Beast Expo KF560C30BBEK2-64 64 GB DDR5 6000 MHz CL30 RAM with Hynix-A chips. I applied the settings you suggested, and now it's running as 128 GB (4x32) 6000 MHz CL30. You saved my life!
This helped me get 128gb running. Just now finishing up an overnight stress test with OCCT.
I was told basically that 4 DIMMs in AM5 does not work. I found that the G.SKILL Flare X5 Series (AMD Expo) DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MT/s CL36-36-36-96 seemed to be more stable than most. All I had to do to get two sets was to reset BIOS to defaults and wait. They came up and worked fine. I went in and set EXPO in the BIOS and rebooted, memory training only took a couple of minutes. Everything is working great at the 6000MT/s CL36-36-36-96. My motherboard is an MSI MAG X670E TOMAHAWK WIFI... What a relief!!!
How did you placed them ? A1 B1 or A1 A2 ?
@@ApRoZaR With two sets, all four slots are full. Installed how the manual called out.
@@zeroyum1473 What's your BIOS AGESA version?

Worth a shot?
An expert is one who has already made all the mistakes. The road to becoming an expert is fraught with trials and tribulations, but worth the effort, though a few choice colorful metaphors here and there make the path more bearable. By the way, love the smudges on the screen and the dusty desktop. That is a workstation of a person who is so focused on work and less worried about what the neighbors will think. You are a true "guy". Congratulations. We should all wear matching jackets.
Glad I came across this. Thank you. Doing a build soon same cpu and want to run 4 dimms also. Definitely going to reference your video
How did that work out for you?

- X670E Aorus Master (bios F21)
- Ryzen 9 7950X3D
- 96Gb@7200 (4x24gb gskill)
- Aorus 4090 waterforge
With XMP1 enabled the system works perfectly in default XMP config 96gb@7222MT/s
I didn’t had to do or modify nothing.
Will this work for 4x32 gb ram? We have the same processor
I attempted to apply the same parameters as in your video but it was unsuccessful. My configuration is 7950x on Aorus x670e Xtreme, BIOS ver is F30. My 4 sticks DDR5 are also GSkill Trident Z5 Neo Expo just like yours but they are 4x32GB. With 2 DIMMS, it can easily reach 6000MT/s with EXPO enabled, however, when 4 DIMMS are installed, the speed is limited to 3600MT/s only by default. Could you please tell me what to do for my case?
Great video - Thanks for all of you effort.
My RAM doesnt have EXPO because in my mobo support page, RAM compatipility list. Most of the one with EXPO didn't officially by default had the 2 or 4 DIMM socket support. Among the few there were some ADATA that had 2/4 plus XMP and EXPO. But they were out of stock at the time. Pity cause I really liked their design. Went with G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series 32GB kit, non NEO so they have XMP only. 6400 CL32. Finger cross that when I do add the other kit in the future. They all work fine. I'll be happy to get them all 4 at 6000 at least.
Thanks man. I have a Ryzen 9 7950X, 4x 16 Gb Corsair Vengeance RGB 6000MHz, and ASUS Prime B650M-A-AX II Motherboard. I had the same thing happen 3600 MHz, and I have the September BIOS. All I needed to do was go into AI Tweaker, chose EXOP 1 and it set the voltage for me. Now it's at 6000MHz, you rock man.

@@nicholasadams81 I was testing with 4 ram memory but only I can set to 5400mhz . 6000mhz with 4 stick is a no go. But with just 2 stick I was able to overclock stable to 7200mhz
Nice video. I specifically waited to upgrade to AM5 because I had very similar issues with RAM speeds in the early days of AM4. At the time, I had a R7 1700 with 16gb of 3200mhz. I had a hard time getting it stable at its rated speed, so I had to run it ar 2933mhz for quite a while. Eventually bios updates cleaned things up, and I ended up upgrading to a 3950x, then a 5950x. Currently run that 5950x with 128gb at 3600mhz. Been rock solid for me with this config. I didn't want to deal with a repeat of those early issues, so I'm waiting to see if the new 9000 series cpus and next gen mobo's clean this up. Really hoping the 9950X3D has VCache on both CCDs!

Any idea how to get 4 sticks of DDR5 at 7000Mhz? I got a Ryzen 9800X3D and without EXPO I can only boot at 6800Mhz but after a while system crashes.
For gaming over 6000 won't really help you, otherwise I have no advice
hey man i have the same specs and sticks as u an have same problem, can use 2 but not all 4 it booted for first time in months yesterday but it blue screened and wouldnt boot after that....
Hello - did you consider getting a single 4 x 16gb kit vs dual 2 x16gb kits? Most of the time when you want to overclock higher amounts of memory - generally it's better to have a single kit with 4 matching ram modules. Overclocking upto 32gb's of memory with 2 seperate kits should be ok. I have always liked to get a single kit with all matching modules.
When you say you switch the RAM sets around are you saying you put the pairs next to each other or did you not install correctly before?
I have a 7900x3d I have been running 4 sticks on at 6000 30-38-38-30 since about a week after it came out. Using the same board and ram. I found going straight to 6000 did not work but walking in in from 5600 to 5800 to 6000 would get it to a stable state. EDIT I have M die
Nice!!!!
Did you also use the same Buildzoid timings?
I used close to the same timings, I did adjust some for stability. Usually was passing various benchmark tests but would find the occasional crash in some games which seemed to go away when timings relaxed. Mind you I was not doing in depth analysis and it was highly subjective. Another interesting thing I noticed was there is an impact on cache latency upwards of 10% improvement with with more relaxed timings. I went from a 11.7-11.8 ns on L3 down to 10.7 ns. It may seem minor but I noticed a big bump on speedway with the improved latency. So there is probably some magic ratio that exists, that if one took the time document and test various settings, but the question becomes if it becomes worthwhile beyond the challenge itself. @@magno5157

I cant get mine to boot with 4 sticks driving me crazy
Thank you for this, However I have just managed to get all 4 Corsair Vengeance DDR5 at 6000mhz to work on my 7950X with Expo 1 enabled. So far no issues. I'm not sure if this is due to the latest Bios update for the Gigabyte X670 Master E Gaming though.
I had this issue, once I jumped from 1.1V to 1.35V my expo worked just fine, 22 secs boot time
Hell yes! Thank you
Also how's the gaming performance?
I tried using the EXPO RAM-boost 5600/6000 settings after building my PC recently & it slowed boot/restart time to disturbing slows (~3 minutes or so), but it did work. So, I set it back at no EXPO & regular stock 4800mhz speeds & it boots/restarts normally again. I'm using 4x16GB (64GB) of Kingston Fury Beast 4800/6000 DDR5 with an MSI B650 Edge Wifi MB. I originally planned to do 2x16GB in my build, but the two empty memory slots bugged me for some reason, so I ordered another 2x16GB of the exact same RAM. 😆 Not like it really matters I guess, since I'm not running my PC to participate in benchmarking e-sport games & there is no need to overclock anything in my system for high/ultra-quality 1440p gaming.
So is an AM5 motherboard and chipset dual channel 4 slot or quad channel 4 slot?
Are there any benefits to 16 x 2 vs 8 x 4?
Hello. they updated the bios again on the 16th to F11C and got rid of F11B all together, I actually have this mobo and a 7900X like you originally had in your video but I haven't put mine together yet and watching you're videos is scaring the hell out of me with all these memory issues. I starting at the top of the mobo list with the highest speed and went down the list following the exact memory numbers until I found one that I could actually purchase and it was 5600 speed Kingston 2x32gb and I think I'm going to have problems with that much memory in training. Also if you could give me any tips on keeping the CPU cool as I've seen you have done? Thanks for another great video!

Good morning, I can use these settings on 2x16 cl30 6000mhz.. I wanted to reduce the latency of the RAM
Great video I was never able to do the same with my system with 4 sticks of Kingston Fury Beast, and according to Actually Hardcore Overclocking you should not populate all 4 modules of RAM in DDR5 since each stick allegedly has already a dual channel internally so when you try to use all the 4 of them you are forcing the RAM controller on the CPU! (Like I mentioned allegedly) at the end I went for the same memory you have but 2 x 32 GB = 64 and make sure that I chose EXPO RAM instead of XMP RAM!! :)

What was you latency between just the two sticks as opposed to the four sticks ?
I was curious about this too! Really curious what the difference was before/after, which is really the determining factor. Bootable is one thing, but fully stable is another.
I was hoping to see linpack results, which is usually the true test, but he said it failed, which isn't a good sign :(

Just one thing to point out YCruncher = good test., Memtest86 ... Nope would not trust the results. Go with Kahu and Memtest5 if you really want to test your memory properly,, my memory initially passed testing with memtest86 but kahu and memtest5 made it error out, those tests should be run for 24 hours, if you pass those - that is a stable overclock. You have the right idea - just not the most reliable tools to achieve it, I am personally about to attempt to run up two kits of Corsair CMH64GX5M2B6000C30 which are 30-36-36-76@1.4 6000Mhz on my system running F22B, odds are it wont pass testing with kahu and memtest 5, if it does I know its stable for daily drives, if not then its time to start work.
Please let me know how it goes I have the same setup, the parameters from the video seem to make the system boot but failing the tests on memtest and y-chruncher. Games do seem to be working fine but failing tests is the risk of system corruption with bad ram OC settings.
i just built my new am5 setup and boy oh boy i cant get my system to run all four sticks of my corsair vengeance 6000 ddr5 ram to work and im losing my mind
Proceed with caution, it’s not guaranteed to work with 4 sticks but this is definitely a guide. Let me know how it works out!
yeah ive spent hours trying to figure it our im ready to give up lol and it sucks cause i wanted to run 64 gigs in my new system @@WiLcreatives
Common A5 platform issues,im with aorus x670e 7950xd, 4090 ,6000 cl 30 ,bios 13d and sometimes i have very long boot time.Ram passes very fast training but vga takes so long which is so weird as everything is properly assembled.
Can you put 4 sticks of ram in x670e-e?
7950x3d
Xpg lancer 5600 32g*4
X670-AORUS-ELITE-AX
Same settings boot successfully but unstable can't pass memory test
Same problem
4x16gb g skill z5 neo ( bought twice 2x16 package)
Motherboard asrock x670e steel legend
Bios updated, expo activated but bios won't take changes
It runs at 4800
Is this ram meant to work as 2 sticks only in dual channel in order to get 6000mhz+ ??
You should try the manual timings. Definitely takes some patience. 4 stick me with AM5 is just finicky
@WiLcreatives I will probably return 2x16gb , pc stays stable at 6000 mhz with 2 sticks. 32gb seem enough nowadays
Excellent video, and thank you for posting.
It is a bummer that EXPO does not play well with all slots populated. that board has evena problem when the ram is populated only on the other channel too.... I hope they can fix it with BIOS updates, but I wouldn't hold my breath so early on...
Is it possible to tune 6000mhz Ram to up to 7200mhz?
Interesting video. I have the same RAM as you but at 6400. At stock settings for 4x16GB sticks performance is horrible, only beating my sons 4 year old i5 by a few points.) I am tinkering with expo and speeds to see if I can get the Passmark score higher. Hmmm. Please do a Passmark video, and or post the results if you will. :-) *** Update. I just got the 4 sticks to work at 6000 Mhz, giving a Passmark score 3996 of top 98 percent. I am hoping that two 32GB sticks can do as good or better without overclocking.
I failed with 4 x 32gb GSkill 6000 cl32. It wouldn't boot. I wonder what I screwed up.
Did you manage to solve the issue?
I have corsair vengeance RGB 32(16GBx2) 4 modules
I can’t even boot with xmp enabled 6400Mhz CL32
Only at stock it work
Any idea how to fix it?
Same issue I have did you figure it out?
Informative video Wil! Dude you are savvy on the memory timings, and knowing how to troubleshoot, etc. I am still on AM4 because it serves me very well for now, but at some point I'd like to go to AM5, thinking 7800X3D cpu and at least 32GB minimum of RAM (will most likely get a 4k monitor before that point though, in a couple of months) Anyway, again cool video. I'll probably watch it again at some point. Take care!
If you happen to get 64gb make sure you get 2 32gb sticks and save yourself some time lol
@@WiLcreatives have they fixed the issue yet? Im wanting to do a 7800x3d build with 64gb and the bundle deal comes with 2x 16gb sticks
I use G.Skill flares 6000mhz 32-38-38-96 ram... Would the same timings work?
Flare is the same as the rest of their ram just without rgb.
Reply with the model of your ram kit.
@@WiLcreatives I tried to send the amazon link but youtube kept deleting it.

@@WiLcreatives Any update my man, been having trouble searching for the right timings and settings myself. All the stuff I find is either outdated or not for my ram.
@@TheStrayHALOMAN just use Buildzoid's hynix ddr5 ryzen 7000 timings.
Kannst du auch den B4 GC bzw. d4s testen?
Would this work with the Gigabyte X670E AORUS PRO X?
Yes. I got 4 Sticks in the Aorus Pro X working.
Nice to see im not the only one with freaking AM5 problems. I have to say its pretty bad that the mobo dosent have the lights to tell u if u have problems with cpu or ram. GJ
Officially with 4 sticks Amd support only drr5 3600mhz and 5200 with two stick the rest is lottery
Im currently having the same issue with my RAM. I originaly had:
Kingston 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL36 FURY Beast AMD EXPO/Intel XMP 3.0
and i bought a new pack of the same ram the only diffrance was that it was RGB
Kingston 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL36 FURY Beast RGB AMD EXPO/Intel XMP 3.0
My motherborad is the:
MSI B650 Gaming Plus WIFI
I have uppdated the to newest bios: verison 7E26v13 Release Date 2023-08-11
But the PC wont even start for me, The LED light is just RED on CPU and Yellow on DRAM. I have tried putting them in diffrent slots and everyting but nothing happens.
I havent tried pressing that botton you pressed on the viedo mabye that will work?
Yes that was the clear cmos button. Were you able to get it to work?
No, i didn’t get it to work unfortunately. 🥲
I just returned the non RGB ram and kept the RGB one. 🤷🏽♂️
Any solution for your setting yet?
is these voltage values is safe for cpu and mobo?
cuz 1.4v seems scary innit?
@@mclovin_666it’s fine for ddr5
Update to the last Bios, AMD cap some voltages and the Agesa updates make it work way better with 4 sticks and with faster ram
its takes my 128gb of ddr5 FOREVER TO BOOT, they are 6400mt/s but i cant get them to run over 3600
i returned 2 sticks of 32gb ram bc i couldnt get it to work, i wish i saw this video before returning it, currently running 64gb on am5 instead of 128gb
Wow! 6000 @ 30 is nice work!
Platinum Plan being put towards its intended use it seems...
Careful with cleaning your PC with compressed air. It has liquid inside it that is one of the lead causes of fried GPUs lol just a heads up. Sick build though. 3:27
still cant working,
only 3600mt now :(
