AleXa is an award willing KPop star, born in Oklahoma in the US, currently living in South Korea. She approached Voiceplay about a collaboration. She filmed her part on a green screen from Korea, Layne and Eli worked their technical magic to put it together. Great reaction, guys!

AleXa's part was filmed in South Korea where she was when the video was being created. Another acapella band you might get a kick out of is a South Korean group Maytree they do mush shorter videos normally under 2 min but they take acapella in a different way. its hard to describe but if you look at there songs vs other Acapella groups songs you will find overlap that you can compare to see how different they can do the same song. For instance they did "opening to Arcane" basically short version of this song. they also did Running up that hill, that you can compare to how voiceplay did them

If there’s a weird sound in a Voiceplay song and it isn’t coming out of the caverns of Hades (and sometimes when it is) that’s gonna be Layne, the beatboxer. Must be interesting living in his house. You’re right that the costumes have to do with Arcane. And you should definitely check out Imagine Dragons. They’re coming out with some pretty amazing songs, so it’s no surprise that they’re getting covered a lot. And speaking of, The Bass Gang just came out with a cover of Imagine Dragons’ Bones-it’s awesome. I don’t think you’ve reacted to anything by them yet, and you really, REALLY should. The top three a capella groups (PTX, Home Free and Voiceplay) is about to become a top four.
This caught me so offguard because I had never watched the series, played the game or listened to the music. But it interested me enough to actually subscribe to Netflix and watch the series. It is indeed extremely dystopian, and AleXa is portraying one of the main characters who basically is driven insane. Before I watched the series I was very put off by all her frenetic pacing and gesturing, but after watching the series it is absolutely accurate to the way that Jinx acts. Visually, the lighting was changed, and some of the video editing was done, so that they seem more flat to go with the animation of the series. AleXa is an American born K-pop artist who reached out to them while she was in South Korea and asked to collaborate with them. So it was all done green screen. Eli did the background in Unreal Engine which is used by video game programmers and television programs to establish backgrounds. The more I watch it, the more I see and hear. What sounds like a lion grumbling away at times is, I think, Layne. He makes most of the weird sounds that aren't Geoff in the basement. :) Those two are the base that the others sing on top of. Though both do sing as well at times. And Geoff has his own channel of low bass covers, if you aren't away of it. They vary a lot and aren't strinctly acapella as he uses plug in music but clones himself to be his own backing group. It's quite something to see.

Hi there, have to admit, this isn’t my favourite Voiceplay track, it seems like they are trying to go as high and as low as they can go in one song. it’s still a good song/sound, I just prefer there other work. A great upload ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
BP2 is a trucker? 🤣 As in rhyming slang or actual trucker??? (And where is Eminem #5, you slacker, you?) Not fussed on this one at all. Bass lovers love Geoff for a reason, and he is fabulous at what he does, but my ears frown (yes, they have facial expressions, as I am weird) when he takes it so low that it feels a bit gimmicky. I love his 'higher' low range, if you know what I mean. The sound effects were brilliant as always, and they all have great voices. Alexa had a nice voice too. 😊
@EnderOllie 4 BP2 is me without the hat and it was most definitely the rhyming slang use that I was using, no way would BP1 be an actual trucker. We had so much going on that Friday, getting ready for the live show and getting content ready plus the view had been low for his week, he didn't have the inspiration to go on As for the song, we didn't know the original and we are getting more used to Voiceplay and how they perform more and we can agree that Geoff will do those very low bass notes more for the shock. He does have a great voice though. Have you sent us your address for us to send out your brew mug?

The marathons don't seem to get many views no matter who the artist is. I suspect it might be the timing that's part of the problem. Maybe schedule them for midnight like your usual reactions? Might make a difference? Or if you don't want to double up, maybe 9 or 10pm UK time. You may catch more viewers from across the pond then. Worth a shot!
