Concert Lighting Tech here 🙋♀️ and there is something called the Parnelli Awards, which award best stage design, lighting design, etc. Basically the "oscars" for live event industry
Do you think The Era's tour will or has alrdy won any? Since tour started almost 2 yrs ago, would it alrdy have been eligible or not until tour ends in Dec? Sorry for so many questions but, thanks! Lol
If you want some serious rocker Taylor, you have to look up “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” live from her 1989 tour. She does a rock version of this bop of a song, playing an electric guitar…you will die dead! (I have, many times)
The Grammys have categories for Best Music Film. And somehow The Eras Tour isn't nominated. But some people will still say Taylor is the Academy's darling and pays for her nominations.
Don’t blame me for what you made me do!!! (that’s literally my favorite transition she’s ever done no joke. I’ve been wanting and needing a rock album from her since her Speak Now days because of the song “Haunted” from that album, but after seeing this because her vocals have matured over the years??? I now demand it omg I’ll never get over this for as long as I live. She just has to make a rock album some day because she’s done so many genres already and is very well known for reinventing herself in every era and experimenting with different styles and other things with her music. I seriously love how open she is, as in her range, versatility, and flexibility. It makes her music seem more alive in a sense, if that even makes sense because they just keep on getting better and better with every live performance she does and how they’re not at all like the studio versions, and that’s one of the many reasons why I love her so damn much because of her creativity and how hard she works to make things so much more enjoyable for all of us. And the fact that she does it all on her own, and by this I’m talking about her writing her own music, which is where it’s at for me. That’s why she’s my number one favorite artist 😭❤️)
I saw eras tour in Sweden, and let me tell you this woman is KILLING it with vocals, showmanship, entertainment, choreography, production, visuals! No wonder this tour made 1,93 billion so far!
My husband and I were at Eras Tour Indianapolis Night 3. We have gone to 100s of concerts and festivals between us all different genres. We had a hard time putting it in our coveted top 5 concerts, but when we shifted to calling it a production- almost a massive broadway show- it skyrocketed in placement. It was beautiful and breathtaking in its quality and production. Our show was nearly flawless. We only wish the bass was turned up during the Reputation Era- we were quite surprised to not be able to feel it. But from the lighting of the bracelets in the crowd, to the lighting on the stage, the sound of the band, the choreography, the transitions, & of course all those amazing song bridges- we had an amazing time. To classify this as a concert just doesn’t quite encompass the entire experience. Our only regret is not seeing it twice: once from each level to get the full experience. Oh- and we gained a whole new respect for Taylor- she truly is a mastermind and a first class entertainer.
The dude shredding is Paul Sidoti! Her guitarist that has been with her for almost her entire life. Also her bass player Amos Heller has been with her for over a decade as well. They love to rock and I have a feeling reputation was their favorite album lol Now you should watch her shred as she plays "we are never ever getting back together" from the 1989 tour! A pop turned punk song and it is so incredible!
71 year old here 🙋♀️. The Reputation Stadium tour documentary turned this Taylor Swift fan into a Swiftie 👏🏻👏🏻🎹🎸🎼😻.Speak Now tour is my second favorite 😍
She is my favorite celebrity across all mediums.👏🙌❤️ she’s super talented, definitely, but she’s also a good person who makes sure her team, band, fans, and even the concession stand workers & cleaning crew are ALL recognized. 💯👏🙌🙏❤️ I’ve seen her live and it’s more of an epic life moment. She literally asked for applause for every single person who work during her show. She’s also a HUGE philanthropist. Some say it’s for clout. 👀🙄😬🤦♀️ nah, bruh, she really is that caring, she doesn’t need clout when she’s already been given to her naturally, just by being who she is. 🤷♀️
Love your reaction as always! I can see your musician soul pause the video and try to find the chord real quick. sorry if I use wrong word english isn’t my 1st language. You just remind me of my musician friends and all of you guys are so cool 😎👍🏼
What the movie does not fully encapsulate is that during the transition as look what you made me do starts (4:40), the stadium lights up like it is BROAD daylight, even if it is completely dark. They turn on every white light up to max on the bracelets and all the stage lighting. The absolute power in that moment between the lighting, her choreo, and the band is PALPABLE. You feel like you’re ascending and the crowd is probably the loudest in that moment, which is saying something. I will never forget that moment because it absolutely shocked me with how different it felt in real time vs via livestream.
What the Eras Tour movie doesn’t capture in the bracelets in the crowd is that during Look What You Made Me Do, the lights show snakes slithering through the crowd.
One of the very few artists that are by far better live than the studio versions, and its consistant. Its one thing to sing, but add playing an instrument at the same time, the choreography and keep in mind shes doing 3.5hr shows in heels!! I watch a guitar coach who is great by the way, he said one night he had to play in cowbow boots as opposed to his regular shoes, and it threw him off big time. The fact she can do all 3 blows me away. True talent!
I'm mostly a fan of rock music and blues, but I love Taylor Swift and Chappell Roan! I have a request. I would love to see you guys do a reaction video for Chappell Roan's recent performance of "Pink Pony Club" from SNL 💜💙
The Rep era was by far the best part of the concert. The whole energy in the stadium ramped up when that snake appeared. The vertical lights were very awesome. The fire and the smoke was so hot! It was sadly just too short.
Exactly, she deserves a Grammy for this, but she won´t because they just snubbed her and didn´t even nominate this world record breaking tour movie. We all know why though... Taylor made this movie without the normal industry channels and made deals directly with theaters and cut the middle men out...and they were not happy. Now they don´t want to reward her for that and inspire others to do the same. And that ladies and gentlemen is why they didn´t even nominate this film. She continues to be a badass and breaking glass seilings, and men in power continue to be outrages because of it.
Taylor once said she would never make her next album sound like her last, and she has kept to that with the exception of folklore and evermore which she calls sister albums and they came out 5 months apart. Great reaction guys.
@@vic3652 None of her albums are the same, there are different genres. Taylor Swift Debut then Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, Reputation, Lover, (folklore and evermore), Midnights, TTPD/The Anthology. Do you understand? Each album prior is the last album.
She wasn't nominated. The highest grossing tour of all time, the biggest music film gross of all time while sitting at 99% on rotten tomatoes. Grammys is nuts.
they just snubbed eras tour film from nomination at the grammys. im so pissed. like wtf. the highest grossing tour the biggest tour of all time is not even nominated????????????
Sadly, The Eras Tour Movie got shut out for The Best Music Film category in the Grammys. Taylor received 6 other nominations tho, The Tortured Poets Department got nominated for Album of The Year and Pop Vocal Album, and Fortnight for Song, and Record of the Year, and Best Music Video.
To bad Eras is all done with pre-recorded audio, both vocal and the "live" band .... the recorded audio is a live recording, not the studio version, so a listener can be fooled even more. See the proof here - Even full lip-syncing. Lots of auto-tune. .... th-cam.com/video/xMNYiDH-fDY/w-d-xo.html Not really up for a discussion IF this is the case, the question is how much is really "live" ....
I'm an old guy (66 yrs old) and I've been listening to Taylor since I've been 50... I think you'd be very surprised how many "old people" listen to her.
This was so good!!! For the uncut reaction to this and all the eras we've done so far, go here: www.patreon.com/collection/778761

This is cool i havent heard of this, is it on tv id love to watch this 😊
Check it once, then I CHECK. IT. TWICE.
Uh Oh, look what you made me do…
@TheHolly1997 they're not on TV, but they may stream them? Next Parnelli awards night is January 24, 2025 and voting is open/nominees are announced
@LK-lz6lk yes, I believe they won some for the Rep stadium tour, and have already won a few things for Eras as well
Rep is THAT girl. Has BEEN that girl since November 10th, 2017. Will FOREVER BE THAT GIRL. Bury me with a copy of it!
Not me lolking at the calander to confirm tomorrow is november 10th😂 omg im getting my clown nose on🙃🤡😂
happy reputation day!
It’s life changing and it’s still my favorite!
Still my FAVE album, and I will STAND BY HER FOREVER!!
The transition between the two songs during her rainshows goes crazy.

Seriously, guys. You're going to love it!
Oh yeah the guy in the red shirt will for sure want to jam along!
second this!! its such a good performance
This!!!!! You guys will love that version!!
I love that you are listening and appreciating her band. Some of them have been with her since she was a teenager!
The Grammys have categories for Best Music Film. And somehow The Eras Tour isn't nominated. But some people will still say Taylor is the Academy's darling and pays for her nominations.
I think the fact she & her parents did that movie and left the middle man out is why. She's smarter than them.
She recently performed this in the rain and it added an extra fun,CRAZY element to the performance.

This transition sends me every time!!! I feel empowered just watching it.
Paul Sidoti has been rocking that Frankenstein on different songs, almost since he joined the band ---- in 2007. 👏🏻👏🏻
I don’t think people in general really recognize how AMAZING Taylor is as a performer.
That high note in Don't Blame Me made me have an out of body experience when I saw her do it live. Blows my mind every time
Most likely playback. It was from a audiotrack playing in the background
I knew you would love reputation!! You need to check out the full reputation tour!!
I always say: no matter what mood you're in, there is a Taylor Swift song for you. She writes in so many genres, and so well.
The transition from "don't blame me" to "look what you made me do" gets me every time, literal chills!

Seeing Rep live was amazing 🖤
Always love the Taylor jam sessions! Delightful reaction!
We need a TS rock album!! Reputation, Taylor's Version, release is December 16, 2024!!!
witnessing this live was CRAZY
What the Eras Tour movie doesn’t capture in the bracelets in the crowd is that during Look What You Made Me Do, the lights show snakes slithering through the crowd.
I’m a bit surprised tou guys haven’t reacted to the rock version of we are never ever getting back together I think you would love it
I’ve seen this live twice now, once last year, the second time just last Sunday in Indianapolis. It blows my mind, it’s so freaking epic!

These two are so hysterical, love them.
My favorite Taylor Swift era ever! I love reputation so much it is the best ablum and era ever!

LMFAO I am dying you did the guitarist's version of HAVING to sing along
Her stage presence is insane dude. Absolute command and confidence!!!
You have absolutely no idea how much I needed your reaction video right now. Lots of love from German swiftie ❤❤❤
How he pointed at himself got me 😂
Another band that should win a Grammy for tours is Twenty One Pilots. Dang, their shows are insane. I did get to see the Eras tour in New Orleans. 🎉🎉🎉
The good ol’ “you’re not old” validation 😂
Just vintage then????😂😂😂😂
This is why fans are dying waiting for the re-release of this album. You just know there are some vault songs coming that are going to murder 🤘

i love the eras version of lwymmd so much.. wish she would release a oficial studio version of it
You should watch this section in the pouring rain on Miami night 1. Crazy!
Reputation is like electro pop. You can listen to We are never getting back together 1989 tour version
Taylor credited Right Said Fred and paid them for using a riff from I'm Too Sexy. I love both the songs.
Stellar right there.
She is so slay!!!!!
Taylor once said she would never make her next album sound like her last, and she has kept to that with the exception of folklore and evermore which she calls sister albums and they came out 5 months apart. Great reaction guys.

Would you do “Vigilante Sh*t” from eras tour? Is another one you’d love!
You need to watch the Miami rain show version of the intro to LWYMMD and watch Taylor turn into Mother Nature 😂♥️
If you want a real rocker Taylor then check out her live 1989 tour of We are never ever getting back together. She is a rock star
I love you guys.
