You guys look like you were trying so hard not to react🤣😭
"you want to see three guys reaction to taylor doing a chair dance"
Me eating my mozzarella sticks "i like to watch em sweat... hit play"
🤣🤣🤣
I literally rubbed my hands together like Mr Burns hahah
Same 😂😂😂😂
your faces are so expressionless its killing me 😂
but yeah, taylor has never had a super sexual image, her focus has always been more on her singing and songwriting and i actually appreciate that quite a bit. like you said, it was sexy and classy at the same time.
But she's a Sag, so just because we don't see it....
I don’t feel she was classy at all. I feel trashy is a better way to describe her.
@@NinjaBooKittywhat’s a sag
@@elisabellaaaa Sorry, Sagittarius 😀
When she performed this in South America and Travis was there and he had to watch her do this standing right next to HER father Scott lol 😅😳😱🫣 omg
People act like she’s out there stripping. She’s doing a mildly sensual dance. She does nearly as much grinding during the Rep and 1989 eras 😂
I heard somewhere that her father does not watch this stage performance :)
@@mikedebruynthis is untrue
@@mikedebruyn The couple videos I've seen, in one he just sorta stands at the rail of the VIP tent and watches without too much expression but does occasionally crack a smile. The other he was sitting in a chair watching kinda bopping his foot along to the music.
He did the same in Sydney n1 (I was there)
this dance is actually one of the reasons the eras tour movie is rated TV-14. along with the swearing of course
Really? This is pretty tame. lol
@@SpookyGal not for taylor 😭
Tbh it’s not that bad
I think because Taylor is so classy and reserved in a world where most pop stars are highly sexualized, her dipping her toes into that realm has a lot more impact on fans than when other singers do it.
You think she was reserved in this? You noted “& Travis was sitting next to her father!” She was highly sexualized in this, so she’s doing what the others are doing.
“That stage was sick as f*ck” -also me every single time I watch this performance
I've watched a lot of 'men' reacting to Vigilante Sh*t, and I so enjoy the epiphany they all have..... OMG, she's not 16 anymore!!!! She's a real, fully grown, mature, WOMAN! Great reaction!
I enjoy her music & her songwriting, but so many still see her as a teen because often she is still making high school references in songs & the romance she seems to seek and glorify is unhealthy & not sustainable. At least she also often acknowledges her mistakes & flaws too, but when 99% of the hits don't show that side people only have that to go on. Even with vigilant sh!t - many would say chair dances don't make you mature.... especially in public. It would signal you aren't.
@@orphanedhanyoushe doesn’t “often” make school references in songs, not since her Fearless album when she was 18. the latest examples i think of are Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince which was a metaphor, and Suburban Legends which was also a metaphor and was written in like 2013/2014. the stuff on folklore and evermore is about fictional teenage characters…i don’t get your point here. just because she makes pop music doesn’t mean she should automatically be viewed like a child.
people have an image of her in their heads because she had a squeaky clean image for most of her career up until Reputation came out, and for some reason people won’t let that go. she’s sang about sex and done sexy dances for ages. it’s weird that people infantilize a 34 year old woman, doesn’t matter what she sings about
@@orphanedhanyou You have to consider when those songs were made. She is over 30 now, hello?
@@orphanedhanyouher lyrics are so intellectual and poetic she's literally being studied in Harvard right now u have no idea what ur talking about lol
@@orphanedhanyounot sure how old you are or how well versed in movies or dance in general you are but I found her stage dance and performance similar to something from the Movie / Play Chicago . In dance in particular chairs are used a lot in jazz numbers . Just sometime that worked for the song and had that vibe to it . I have seen all ages do this routine in profession dance ensembles .
She knows how to do classy sexy! 💜
I feel like by the time the eras tour film came out, most of us had already seen video people had taken on their phones at the show, and watching it from one angle without cuts, it came off more shocking than the eras tour version did. Or maybe that’s just because we were seeing it for the first time. It was much discussed. The choreography is also an allusion to Cell Block Tango in “Chicago” about women in prison for murdering men, the chorus of the song being “they had it coming, they had it coming all the time, if you’d have been there, if you’d have seen it, it was a murder but not a crime” (make of that what you will).
I believe the performance on the Eras Tour is a reference to the musical Chicago
cell block tango! yes!!
Definitely "He Had It Coming" vibes
Even further back I think, to Cabaret!
Yesss absolutely ❤❤ Chicago is such a great musical/movie. And Taylor and most of her fellow swifties are music theartre nerds so we got this reference straight away. ❤❤
@@sherigrow6480I watched the tour with my friend last night and when this number came on we both looked at each other and yelled "go off Sally Bowles" So we're right there with ya 🤣
Yall are so funny, i will be 35 in 10 days and I'm a very straight woman, and my jaw about fell outta my head when I first saw this performance. She's performed "sexy" stuff before like Dress and IDWTLF, but the quick change into this more revealing outfit (from the Tshirt dress, i mean), the choreo AND the 💺? She leaned into a more burlesque-style performance for this one and it works especially well because she hasn't done it that directly before.
I call it Taysexual 😂
Jamie doing the work for the swiftie gods again i see 😂
The choreography and incorporation of the chair goes a little deeper than merely a sensual number. This is in reference to the number called “Cell Block Tango” from the musical Chicago. Both songs share thematic elements of a man doing something wrong and a woman getting her revenge. In Cell Block Tango, the chorus repeats “he had it coming”, which parallels Vigilante Sh*ts lyrics “Don’t get sad, get even”. Both songs describe a different man’s crimes and how the woman got revenge in each stanza. Highly recommend you look up either the 2002 movie number or a recording of the choreography from the stage production. It’s a fantastic piece of theatre 😊 And if you watch the Chicago number, it will make sense why Vigilante Sh*t is not super provocative.
It’s funny cuz Chicago (movie) is from 2002… over 20 years old and people are shocked by Taylor dancing like this
Taylor has expressed many times that she never wants to have a 'sexual' appeal in her 20s and early adult years. But now, as she is well into her 30s, she is obviously not afraid to have that side of her when she has such a iconic legacy and nothing to lose practically, speaking..... It totally depends on the artist of when they want themselves to appear provocative.
Her creative control was also somewhat limited when she was younger. I’m sure Borchetta wanted her to have that squeaky clean look. She also refrained from speaking on politics or lyrics that were too racy (except Reputation) until she was older and in more control.
This will go over well in Europe because they are so much more sexual at an early age then America has ever been ! Of course age limits are younger in Europe but America clings to them ! It’s a different world in Europe! In many other ways too.
I didn’t even notice the dancers because I was so focused on Taylor!
Some songs are just MADE for live performance, and this is one of those songs. It was done so well and staged perfectly.
What I think is hard for newer fans (me being one of them), is that this isn't that risqué especially in the world we live in now where you see more revealing things multiple times a day on social media. But once I started doing more of a deep dive on her career, it is quite a departure, so her fans that have been with her forever, it was really shocking. She has also been seen for a long time as young/naive/and to some people even asexual and has to live in this world where she is 34 and writes about grown woman things but has 8 year olds who idolize her so it has to be a struggle for her.
You are thinking of mean girls, but the choreography for this is based off Chicago nailed it , chefs kiss💞
Yes, I think he’s thinking of the uncomfortably sexual Jingle Bell Rock bit from Mean Girls 😂
This song is one you can TELL she was envisioning the live performance of WHILE she was writing it.
Watch the performance a few times focusing on each dancer, they are all fantastic
The woman has the most versatility and it’s incredible ❤ Great reactions
taylor know her audience so well so it cool that she keeps things classy
I think Jake you’re thinking about Mean Girls but the dance didn’t get cut off lol. The stereo got kicked so the music stopped but then they just started singing it to finish it
I swear I was thinking Mean Girls too but there wasn't a chair? But anyways I will be the obligatory "thank you for keeping us fed Jamie" person in this comment section, since I don't see Ivy Cowboy anywhere (yet 😂)
@@r-ln5xwhahaha Ivy is everywhere I am and I am everywhere she is. We are symbiotic 😂
You're everywhere 😂
Taylor’s never going to perform in a way that would possibly make some of her fans feel uncomfortable, that’s why I love her so much, she always keeps it classy
YES!!!Continues to react to the eras, especially the ones I mentioned before (champagne problems, tolerate it, my tears ricochet and illict affairs)
Most awaited video. Reactions to live performances from the eras tour is a neeed 🎉😊 Dont forget to react to some rep tour performances toooo
OMG I AM THE FIRST FIRST VIEW AND COMMENT ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉 - I LOVED YOUR REACTION THANK YOU FOR STAYING RESPECTFUL BUT STILL OBVIOUSLY SHOWED YOU ENJOYED IT!
If you ever watched the show Grounded for Life, you might be thinking of a scene from that. The daughter does a dance for the school talent show. It gets cut off because the parents start fighting the teenage boys who are saying sexy things about the daughter.
I was thinking Mean Girls, but it isn’t cut off specifically because it’s sexy.
It’s a brilliant burlesque performance. And that’s what it is burlesque - classy, cheeky, sassy, sexy without being graphic.
There is a movie called Burlesque if you want to react to that 😈 Lots of singing, dancing and an amazingly talented ensemble cast. Cher, Stanley Tucci, Christina Aguilera.
A famous burlesque performer is also in Taylor’s Bejewelled music video (Dita Von Teese) who teaches her some classic burlesque moves.
Yall are quickly becoming a fav Tay Tay reaction channel for me!
Yes!! Classy! That’s a great word to describe Taylor. It’s sad to see people like Olivia Rodrigo who has even more teenage fans than Taylor wayyy over sexualizing her performances. Taylor really knows how to perform to people of all ages at once that everyone will enjoy. She’s a genius!
Are you talking about the movie Easy A with Emma Stone? Also I love how Taylor has always kept it classy. She hasn’t changed since she was a young girl. I can understand how betrayed she must have felt with Kanye’s video with her nude wax figure and recently with the AI generated nudes that went viral on X.
This is one of the best dance / song acts I've seen at a concert.
The Eras Tour movie definitely reduced the sensuality of the dance. For a Swiftie like me, I watched the livestreamed version way too many times on TikTok and the angle and the camera was just in her the whole time, unlike the aerial views from the movie.
Jamie i know u seeing this gurl ... we love a queen❤️❤️
Great reaction! Taylor has grown up. She’s a big girl now! This song is awesome
Thank you for reacting with class. Some do not. This was modeled after Chicago!! But this is taken from the movie. The live streams she gets into it more!
Let’s go Jamie!!! I’ve been waiting for this reaction 🫶🏻
The Queen ❤
You’ve never stopped so infrequently!
0.48 when the dude said 'Don't Blame Me' omg gasped so hard
I’ve been waiting for this!!!!!
You guy’s are so cute n enjoyable, Thanks!
Happy Birthday Evan🎂🎈
Taylor was never sexy in a provocative or vulgar way, she was always very classy with it which is something i really like a about her and right now it´s something that stands out from most female artists, she´s not trying to sell her body but her music which is something every artist should do.
You got me on that Magic Mike comment lmfao! The reaction to this video was great guys~ TY 😊
i look forward to yall. all three do very good reaction vids. i see those sub numbers moving up very nicely. keep at it.
I love it. She’s awesome
Love this song!!!!! And yes, Taylor keeps it classy!!!!
I suspect that, now that the Eras Tour is streaming on Disney with extra songs, it will be easier to upload clips. A week ago I saw that someone had uploaded the entire original version of the movie. I don't know if it has been taken down yet, but it had already been up for several days by the time I noticed that it was there. My point is, the existence of the new version might mean that clips from the original version are not so rigorously guarded. (?)
I didn't think you'd do another "Vigilante Shit" reaction. I'm glad you did. I like that you did them close together. 👍
A lyric video is definitely best to do first, so that you can focus on its lyrics. There's usually plenty of things to comment on in lyrics, so starting with a music video or performance can overload your ability to process everything and react.
In this second reaction, you were able to focus on what the performance adds. Great analysis of the performance; it had to be rated PG-13, and it was still fun and exciting to see a somewhat risqué Taylor Swift. A "The Eras Tour" concert is like a 3+ hour workout, with great singing the whole time! 🦸♀️
This was one of my favorite parts of the tour. It was amazing.
Okay she just stuns in blue ❤
Live was unreal!!
lol I’ve been waiting for you guys to react to this
the chair dance!!! 🔥
I needed a fan in the theater 🤣
That is how I came to really appreciate her keeping it on the classier side of sensual as I am a life long dancer. Saw the movie of the Eras tour and I give her total kudos for all of it: quality of production, choreography, she pulls it off to be DIFFERENT AND CLASSY in today's world where so many bump and grind and twirking bullsh*t is just that: demeaning to females.
This reminds me of the movie Burlesque. Love it
I couldn’t stop laughing please help. Your reactions were priceless
Never clicked so fast in my life lol! Hey have the subs what they want!! 🤣
They look hypnotized😂.. boys snap out of it!
Loved this reaction! It is so great to see guys realize how sexy she can be😂! She isn't just for tween girls.
Imagine an entire stadium cheering just because you sat in a chair. My ego would be absolutely thriving. The attitude in this performance is tremendous I love it.
I hope y’all are doing well and taking care of yourselves!
Thank you Jamie for paying! We were craaaaving this one 🥸
Happy birthday
Maybe Mean Girls with the Jingle Bell Rock dance is what you're thinking of?
Love all of your reactions and I've been waiting for you guys to see this. ❤
Chair dance reminds me of Chicago! Cell block tango
Based on that
a little bit of morgan wallen on the left down corner 😂❤
I got why they kept commenting you guys are trying so hard not to react! hahaha you're too adorableeeee 😂❤
Please watch her perform Evermore as a surprise acoustic song from Eras tour! I think its her best live vocal performance and is so breathtaking
As a Fosse and Taylor fan this performance was everything!!

Amazing reaction ❤

Evan said, "Don't Blame Me"...😉🤣☠️
You guys should react to the full eras tour! You can break it up in to separate videos by era. :)
Or even seperate Eras

Turns her revenge into art, enjoy jail Scooter 😂
omggggggg THANK YOU
You guys might be referring to the Mean Girls talent show scene
She definitely has range in what she can do.
This dance reminds me of the Cell Block Tango from the Broaday show Chicago.
how are yall keeping a straight face like im a girl and im here giggling and smiling and yall are just like :/
Is jake thinking of the movie mean girls?!😭
Jamie is always at work!!
its about time for a patreon.

@@jealousexplosion2942 ohhh, gotcha!

More react from the eras tour 😍, you can react miss Americana and cruel summer from the eras tour
Way to be Jamie!!

@3:26 There’s a scene kinda like that in the movie Mean Girls
this was hot AF !
It's definitely "Cell Block Tango" inspired!
❤❤❤❤
Taylor made sure the entire tour was made to fit the eras. She’s never been sexual. So vigilante shit was an amazing choice for her to add to the set list to add that one track alone of spice.
