I still have faith in Jack Shepherd. Mads made some howlers when he first came through. Mael was shocking in his first game. Shepherd is a quality defender who has a really bright future in the game. He just had an off day which is understandable given the leap of level.
Absolute state of that pass from Shepherd at the beginning, played it across his own box without even looking, then that howler from Roberts 🤦♂️ just get the ball down the pitch ffs.
Best to get the mistakes out the way and win. We need to sharpen up. Against teams that can finish well get stuffed playing like that. Wigan should have had 2/3 the other week. Saying that 4 points off top of league in Jan we can’t complain because we’re no way as good a side as last season COYR
